Osee (Hosea)
2:20
And I will espouse thee to me in faith: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
And I will espouse thee to me in faith: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
Here is my latest poem from the work "Fortress of the Soul".
I hope you all enjoy and share it, Ave Maria!

The Storm’s Rainbow
Slipping into error’s bad dream
The lids of the eyes of men
seemingly sown shut
Paralyzed, amidst his own hidden
cries
Which now arise to the surface
These tears of tribulation fall eagerly
to his bed side
Men of once renown, now weighed down
with hearts of stone
Alone, he exclaims out loud but no
one listens
For the others art likewise too busy
In this land wherest the “men of
self” roam
Giving shape to these shadows
Giving Rise to the Winds of this
poem
Crying new rivers in which they themselves
drown
Bound, by invisible chains, all goes
without sound
For here there is no freedom
Here it is not about “who you are”…
for all walk nameless
For no one knows the depth of the
pain of these souls
With hearts frozen over amidst self’s
cold
Because they did not care for the others
affairs
And so, off, they forever fade, into
the distance
With death’s “icy endless stare”
And so I have been told…
That no one comes back from this
state of “old”
No one tests this night without
first questioning
The path he walks or the choice of his
own road
No one sleeps in peace as a sheep
outside of this One Catholic fold
For these have not learnt the
science of the Saints
Having taken the world’s bait and
fallen into the devil’s hole
BUT for those of Faith, WE HOLD
We, who like a Tree, remain planted
And firmly embrace in grace amidst
Life’s Storms
We, who, once too “danced with
despair”
We, who, now know we are not alone
For only Faith survives the Night
As Hope comes upon the “morning eyes”
awakening
Arising With her Light….
And Upon these Pure Clouds
Usher in the Storm’s vibrant Rainbow...
