“An Age’s
Ending Lullaby”
The
Season’s reason for Sorrow speaks
But few
have the heart to listen
For only
time now passes by
Truth
forgotten, Here high on Love’s Peak
Wherest the
Scoffer’s come to meet
With
hearts lost in this dark, asleep
Long past
the day’s Light, having “died”
Innocence
found enclosed by self’s fence
Who would
like to be free and greet
But who
can say they “keep the Way?”
Yea, all
I see is slaves, for the night keeps
As the
eagles gather above to cry
The enemy
who hears these Woe’s
Now
prepares to go below and hide
Beneath this
worlds surface to keep their lies
And
crossing before our eyes
Love leaves
her mark in these darkened skies
For it Is
His Sacred Heart’s Sign…
But the
drunk stay stumbling off the Harlots wine
Whose bed
takes in the dead
And with
a smile says all is just fine
As
Islands sink and Love’s Mountain comes crashing down
Into the
seas I see the new coastlines
Man
sighs, as these Divine Tears of Justice fall
Sadly Slipping
thru the hands of man
Too late!
As the doors of mercy close
For those
now seeking refuge from the fiery darts
Are
locked out of the Ark, no longer in dens to Hide
And all Alone,
the narrow road unto man once again is shown
