Jorge and Trump: Meeting of False Opposites
Note: Not an endorsement for sedevacantism
Before
commenting, if ever so briefly, on the Argentine Apostate’s
thirty-minute meeting on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, the Vigil of the
Ascension and Rogation Wednesday (which took precedence over the Feast
of Our Lady Help of Christians that is observed in many places), with
President Donald John Trump, it is perhaps instructive to take you into
Dr. Droleskey’s Wayback Machine to the year 2014.
Yes,
Sherman, that is when the then incumbent American caesar, Barack
Hussein Obama/Barry Soteoro, met with the still presiding universal
public face of apostasy, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, better known since March
13, 2014, by his stage name, “Pope Francis,” just fourteen days after
the latter’s selection to succeed the retired Joseph Alois
Ratzinger/Benedict XVI. It is instructive, you see, to return to
Thursday, March 27, 2014, the Feast of Saint John Damascene and the
Commemoration of Saints Cosmas and Damian during the Third Week of Lent,
when the two figures of Antichrist were smiling themselves to hell as a
means of contrasting this meeting with the one that took place just
five days ago now:
What
was that you said? It sounded like “Golly gee willikers, Dr. Droleskey,
these two men were all smiles, and they spent a whole lot of time
together, didn’t they?”
Yes, Sherman, you are very perceptive.
Yes, Obama/Soetoro and Bergoglio spent, as you put it, a whole lot of time together nearly fifty months ago now.
“Didn’t you write something about it at the time?”
“Yes, Sherman, I sure did. Here is what I wrote:
Yes,
two figures of Antichrist, one of whom believes himself to be the
“Petrine Minister” and the other, a petty little caesar who believes
himself to be as infallible as a true Successor of Saint Peter, have
lots to smile about, don’t they?
After all, both fashion themselves as speaking for “the people,” for “the poor.”
Jorge
Mario Bergoglio and Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro are joined at
the hip in their concern for respecting “humanitarian and international
law” at the same time as they disregard the binding precepts of the
Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law.
Jorge
Mario Bergoglio and Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro are, though
twenty-five years apart in age, products of a revolutionary rejection of
the “past.”
That
is, Jorge Mario Bergoglio rejects everything to do with the
“pre-conciliar” Catholic Church as being “self-referential,” too “sure
of itself,” “too closed-in-on-itself.”
Barack
Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro rejects everything to do with the actual
text of the Constitution of the United States of America and even of the
laws passed by the Congress of the United States of America, including
the provisions of the Affordable Care and Patient Protection Act, aka
ObamaCare, believing that “the good thing about being president, I can
do whatever I want.” (‘I Can Do Whatever I Want’.)
As noted a week ago today, both Jorge Mario Bergoglio and Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro have what they think is the “experience” to
understand the alleged “needs” of the “people,” especially those who
are said to be on the margins and the poor, those who have always been
served, both supernaturally and temporally, by Holy Mother Church from
her very beginning on Pentecost Sunday as the Third Person of the Most
Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, descended in tongues of flame upon
the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary and the others who were
gathered in the same Upper Room in Jersualem where Our Blessed Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ had instituted the Holy Eucharist and the Holy
Priesthood fifty-three days before.
Indeed,
Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro made this exact point in a press
conference in Rome, Italy, yesterday, Thursday, March 27, 2014, the
Feast of Saint John Damascene and the Commemoration of Saints Cosmas and
Damian on the Thursday in the Third Week of Lent, after meeting with
Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. Permit me, therefore, to provide
some commentary on the long answer that our reigning caesar gave to a
reporter of the Cable News Network.
Excerpt Number One:
Q Thank you very much, Mr. President. Grazie, Mr. Prime Minister.
Mr.
President, in your meeting with His Holiness, Pope Francis, did he
register any objections with you about the contraception coverage
mandate in the Affordable Care Act or your efforts to advance the rights
of gays and lesbians in the United States that worry so many
Catholics? And what were his concerns?
And
on Russia, with reports of troops building on the Ukrainian border, by
taking the military option off the table are you sending a signal to
Vladimir Putin that other parts of Ukraine are his for the taking? And
why not send multinational peacekeepers to the Ukrainian border as a
deterrent?
And
to you, Mr. Prime Minister, the President said yesterday that the U.S.
would defend any NATO ally. Are you making that same commitment when it
comes to Russia?
PRESIDENT
OBAMA: That’s a lot of questions there, Jim. (Laughter.) Do the
Italian journalists, by the way, do this — these sort of five-part
questions? (Laughter.) Same thing?
PRIME MINISTER RENZI: The same multi Italian journalism. (Laughter.)
PRESIDENT
OBAMA: All right, let me try to remember this. In terms of the
meeting with His Holiness, Pope Francis, we had a wide-ranging
discussion. I
would say that the largest bulk of the time was discussing two central
concerns of his. One is the issue of the poor, the marginalized, those
without opportunity, and growing inequality.
And
those of us as politicians have the task of trying to come up with
policies to address issues, but His Holiness has the capacity to open
people’s eyes and make sure they’re seeing that this is an issue. And
he’s discussed in the past I think the dangers of indifference or
cynicism when it comes to our ability to reach out to those less
fortunate or those locked out of opportunity. (Remarks by President Obama and Prime Minister Renzi of Italy in Joint Press Conference.)
Brief Commentary:
In
other words, Jorge Mario Bergoglio has the ability as “Pope Francis” to
convince Catholics and non-Catholics alike in the United States of
America to support his statist schemes of income redistribution in order
to make everyone equally poor and equally dependent upon the arbitrary
orders of non-elected bureaucrats to control more and more aspects of
their daily lives.
Excerpt Number Two:
And
then we spent a lot of time talking about the challenges of conflict
and how elusive peace is around the world. There was some specific
focus on the Middle East where His Holiness has a deep interest in the
Israeli-Palestinian issue, but also what’s happening in Syria, what’s
happening in Lebanon, and the potential persecution of Christians. And I
reaffirmed that it is central to U.S. foreign policy that we protect
the interests of religious minorities around the world.
But
we also touched on regions like Latin America, where there’s been
tremendous progress in many countries, but there’s been less progress in
others.
I
think the theme that stitched our conversation together was a belief
that in politics and in life the quality of empathy, the ability to
stand in somebody else’s shoes and to care for someone even if they
don’t look like you or talk like you or share your philosophy — that
that’s critical. It’s the lack of empathy that makes it very easy for
us to plunge into wars. It’s the lack of empathy that allows us to
ignore the homeless on the streets. And obviously central to my
Christian faith is a belief in treating others as I’d have them treat
me. And what’s, I think, created so much love and excitement for His
Holiness has been that he seems to live this, and shows that joy
continuously. (Remarks by President Obama and Prime Minister Renzi of Italy in Joint Press Conference.)
Brief Comment:
There is really little else to add to what I wrote a week ago today in Jorge and Barack Have “Experience”.
One
can, however, note that the “empathy” spoken of by Barack Hussein
Obama/Barry Soetoro with reference to himself and the false “pontiff,”
Jorge Mario Bergoglio, calls to mind the following infamous words of
William Jefferson Blythe Clinton: “I feel your pain.” (I do a pretty
good impression of Clinton delivering that line repeatedly back in
1992.)
Unfortunately
for Bergoglio and Obama/Soetoro, neither man have empathy for those
suffering supernaturally from the ravages of unrepentant sins,
especially those that cry out to Heaven for vengeance (willful murder,
the sin of Sodom, defrauding a widow and withholding the day laborer’s
wages). No, it’s all smiles between these two figures of Antichrist as
they believe themselves to be possessed of an empathy that is purely
narcissistic, thus having nothing to do with either the eternal or
temporal good of the very people they seek to “serve.”
Excerpt Three:
In
terms of domestic issues, the two issues that we touched on — other
than the fact that I invited and urged him to come to the United States,
telling him that people would be overjoyed to see him — was
immigration reform. And as someone who came from Latin America, I
think he is very mindful of the plight of so many immigrants who are
wonderful people, working hard, making contributions, many of their
children are U.S. citizens, and yet they still live in the shadows, in
many cases have been deported and are separated from families. I
described to him how I felt that there was still an opportunity for us
to make this right and get a law passed. (Remarks by President Obama and Prime Minister Renzi of Italy in Joint Press Conference.)
Brief Comment:
So
much for the Natural Law right of a country to regulate the entry of
non-residents and to provide for the legitimate security of its
citizens. Obama/Soetoro wants Bergoglio to mouth platitudes about
“inclusiveness” and “fairness” without even giving the lip-service that
Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI gave now and again to national sovereignty
in the context of illegal immigration.
Insofar
as those who have entered this country illegally and have been here for
a long time, I stand by everything I wrote nearly four years ago now
in Good Catholic Common Sense Must Prevail, part 1 and Good Catholic Common Sense Must Prevail, part 2.
To the Final and Most Important Excerpts from Caesar Barackus Obamus Ignoramus’s Answer:
And
he actually did not touch in detail on the Affordable Care Act. In my
meeting with his Secretary of State, Cardinal Parolin, we discussed
briefly the issue of making sure that conscience and religious freedom
was observed in the context of applying the law. (Remarks by President Obama and Prime Minister Renzi of Italy in Joint Press Conference.)
Rather Extended Commentary:
Well, there you have it.
As
predicted, Jorge Mario Bergoglio did not “touch in detail” on the
draconian provisions of ObamaCare, which is opposed on its every face to
the Natural Law principle of Subsidiarity and even to the very plain
text of the Constitution of the United States of America for which our
caesar has such contempt. (See ObamaDeathCare.)
The man masquerading as “Pope Francis” left it up to his Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin, who only briefly raised
the issue of ObamaCare’s mandated health insurance coverage for “family
planning services,” including chemical abortifacients, the surgical
execution of the innocent preborn and sterilization as though this
coverage was a relatively minor matter. There is a reason for this:
Bergoglio and Parolin believe it such coverage to be a minor matter as
they are more concerned about supporting access to “universal health
care,” which is nothing other than a surrender to the
government-employed merchants of death what has belonged up to this
point to their like number in the private sector. One cannot be “too
obsessed” about such matters.
Remember, Piero Parolin has never met a statist that he has not tried to appease.
Yes,
two figures of Antichrist, one of whom believes himself to be the
“Petrine Minister” and the other, a petty little caesar who believes
himself to be as infallible as a true Successor of Saint Peter, have
lots to smile about, don’t they?
End of the Wayback Machine episode.
Back to the present.
As
most of you know by now, of course, Bergoglio was pretty grim-faced
when he posted for photographs with President Donald John Trump alone
and when he posted for photographs with the president and his third
(second illicit) wife, Melania, and his daughter, Ivanka Trump Kushner,
the Kabbalist who is the daughter of his true wife, Ivana Trump.
Oh,
yes, there were a few moments when the Argentine Apostate smiled
spontaneously at Trump, especially when the latter handed him a book
about the late plagiarist and Communist sympathizer and fellow
womanizer, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Other than those few candid
moments, however, Jorge was grim-faced in the official photographs,
something that a montage of a photographs below demonstrates is quite a
contrast with how he, Bergoglio, as behaved with statist, pro-abortion,
pro-perversity world figures when they have paid him a visit at the
Apostolic Palace (these are about the only times he goes to the
Apostolic Palace other than when he delivers his Regina Caeli/Angelus
addresses on Sundays whenever he finds himself behind the Walls of the
Occupied Vatican on the West Bank of the Tiber River:
It
is an exercise in redundancy to point out that Jorge Mario Bergoglio
has common cause with the statists, pro-aborts, pro-sodomites and
pro-open borders public officials who are funded by George Soros and
those of the latter’s ilk. He has long seen Trump, as an enemy of
“social justice,” something that was made clear when he, Bergoglio,
handed Trump a copy of Laudato Si, May 24, 2015, his encyclical
letter on the pantheistic environmentalism that is based on heretical
theology and junk science (see Dance, Dance, Eco Jorge part one, Dance, Dance, Eco Jorge, part two and As Jorge Worries About the Rainforest and "SDGs".)
“Pope
Francis” saw fit to “evangelize” in behalf of pantheistic naturalism to
try to convince President Trump to change his mind, which changes a
whole lot, obviously as he has not blessed clue about First and Last
Things, something that he has in common with “Pope Francis,” of course,
about “climate change” as well as to open to “open borders.”
The Argentine Apostate has never seen
fit to evangelize in behalf of the innocent preborn or the very nature
of marriage as a union between one man and one woman, both of whom are
canonically free to marry each other, that is to be open to however
many—or few—children that God chooses to bestow upon them. He’s all
smiles with the statists and pro-aborts because he believes that the
“environment” and nature matter more than the all else, including the
very precondition of social order, the sanctification and salvation of
souls.
Ah,
when it comes to a “mean” head of state who does not support the
“progressive” (Communist agenda), Jorge puts on his look of stern
disapproval. He knows full well what he is doing.
So
does his Marxist Secretary of State, whose office put out a press
release after Trump's meeting with Jorge to express the "hope" that the
American president would be a "serene collaboration" between Trump's
administration and the conciliar "bishops" of the United States of
America on, month other things, "assistance to immigrants":
This
morning, Wednesday, May 24, 2017, the Honorable Donald Trump, president
of the United States of America, was received in audience by the Holy
Father Francis and subsequently met with His Eminence Cardinal Secretary
of State Pietro Parolin, accompanied by His Excellency Msgr. Paul
Richard Gallagher, secretary for relations with states.
During
the cordial discussions, satisfaction was expressed for the good
existing bilateral relations between the Holy See and the United States
of America, as well as the joint commitment in favor of life, and
freedom of worship and conscience. It is hoped that there may be
serene collaboration between the state and the Catholic Church in the
United States, engaged in service to the people in the fields of
healthcare, education and assistance to immigrants.
The
discussions then enabled an exchange of views on various themes
relating to international affairs and the promotion of peace in the
world through political negotiation and interreligious dialogue, with
particular reference to the situation in the Middle East and the
protection of Christian communities. (Vatican Statement on Argentine Apostate's Meeting with President Trump.)
Trump
needs to be "educated" open borders, "climate change" and globalism.
There was no such talk of "educating" the late Fidel Alejandro Castro
Ruz when the two met in 2015:
Silvia Poggioli, NPR: I
would like to ask you, in the decades of the power of the state of
Fidel Castro, the Church in Cuba has suffered much. In your meeting with
Fidel, did you get the impression that [he] may be a bit regretful?
Pope Francis: Regret
is a very intimate thing, and it’s a thing of conscience. I, in the
meeting with Fidel, I spoke of the stories of known Jesuits, because in
the meeting I brought a gift of a book, from Fr. Llorente, also a good
friend of his, who is also a Jesuit. And also a CD with the conferences
of Fr. Llorente and I also gave him two books from Fr. Pronzato [sic]
which I’m sure he’ll also appreciate. And we talked about these things.
We spoke a lot about the encyclical, Laudato si'. He’s very
interested in the issue of ecology. It was a not-so-formal, rather
spontaneous meeting. Also his family was present there. Also those who
accompanied me, my driver, were present there. But, we were a bit
separated from his wife. They couldn’t hear, but they were in the same
place. But we spoke a lot on the encyclical because he is very concerned
about this. About the past, we didn’t speak.
(inaudible question from Poggioli)
Pope Francis: Yes! About the past, the Jesuit college. And how the Jesuits were and how they made him work. All of that, yes.
“About the past, we did not speak.” (Full Transcript of Bergoglio's Inflight Interview from Cuba to the United States of America.)
The
“past” to which Bergoglio referred is very much the present of Cuba in
its Communist captivity as the dissidents who wanted to meet with him
were rounded up while he remained silent about the Castro regime’s
brutality during his visit or to denounce the arrests of the dissidents
thereafter.
Additionally, of course, there was nothing but effusive praise after the murderous Communist tyrant died on November 26, 2016, the Feast of Saint Sylvester the Abbot and the Commemoration of Saint Peter of Alexandria:
On
receiving the sad news of the death of your dear brother, His
Excellency Mister Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz, former president of the
State Council and of the Government of the Republic of Cuba, I express my sentiments of sorrow to Your Excellency and other family members of the deceased dignitary, as well as to the people of this beloved nation. At the same time,
I offer prayers to the Lord for his rest and I entrust the whole Cuban
people to the maternal intercession of our Lady of the Charity of El
Cobre, patroness of that country. (Telegram for the Death of Fidel Castro.)
What
made this sickening elegy of “sorrow” upon the death of a man who used
murder, terror and repression to build what some are calling the “modern
Cuba” is that the false “pontiff” signed his name to the telegram
rather than having it issued by his Communist-loving, Red
Chinese-enabling Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin. This gesture, which
indicates the warmth and esteem he had for the late thug, was even
noted by the secular press:
In
a sign of his personal esteem, Francis signed the telegram, breaking
from the Vatican's usual practice of have the secretary of state send
such messages. Francis met Castro during the papal visit to Cuba in
September 2015. (Atheistic Funeral Plans Made for Tyrannical Murderer, Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz.)
There
is hardly a Marxist, Socialist, statist or non-Marxist atheist alive
that does not meet with Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s personal approval, if
not personal friendship and admiration as he, a consummate Judeo-Masonic
naturalist, believes the only thing that matters in a civil leader is
to be “for the poor” and to use whatever means necessary, up to and
including the confiscation of private property, to do so.
As
a leftist, the Argentine Apostate shares the same view of the world as
held by the likes of Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro and his
Communist loving senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, who was filled with
praise for Castro regime when the soon-to-be former President of the
United States of America visited Cuba earlier in early 2016:
"Cuba has an extraordinary resource – a system of education which values every boy and every girl.” (Valerie Jarrett Sings the Praises of the Castro Regime.)
Mind
you, this is not to indemnify the Judaizing Trump, who became the first
American president to place a prayer petition in the Wailing Wall of
the Temple that Our Lord predicted would be torn down, a prophecy that
was fulfilled in 70 A.D. when He used the pagan Romans to destroy
Jerusalem as the fit punishment for their refusing to respond to the
preaching of the Gospel by the Apostles, as anyone worth admiring. Of
course not. It is only to point out that Bergoglio cares more about
scolding Trump for his sort of “heartless” naturalism as opposed his own
naturalism, which deifies the state and indemnifies hardened sinners in
their lives of perdition.
To
be sure, former President Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro is using
his cadre of embedded deep state cohorts to systematically leak
disinformation and the transcripts of illegal intercepted communications
to their fellow conspirators in the mainslime media to create a
narrative about President Donald John Trump that is designed his
well-intentioned efforts to scale back the power of the administrative
state and to curb the reach of globalist apparatchiks. Those who preach
“openness” and “inclusion” are pretty closed-minded, intolerant and
downright ruthless to anyone who criticizes them, no less tries to
effect a reversal of their own revolutionary schemes, and is as true of
Jorge Mario Bergoglio and his cadre of Jacobin/Bolshevik revolutionaries
in the counterfeit church of conciliarism as it is of Obama/Soetoro and
his ilk in the United States of America and elsewhere around the world.
This de facto coup d’etat,
however, is but a distraction, a sideshow, if you, to keep those
concerned about it from seeing being the agitation of the moment.
Naturalism is simply a means of the adversary to advance the agenda of
Judeo-Masonry that was characterized as follows by the late Father
Edward Cahilll:
We
have already referred to Rationalism and Hermeticism (including
Theosophy, Christian Scientism, Spiritism, etc.) as characteristic of
the Masonic religion and philosophy, These, which are put forward as a
substitute for real religion, are fast becoming more and more widespread
in England and throughout the English-speaking world. They are the most
powerful dissolvents of whatever elements of true Christianity are
being attempted. This element is perhaps the most deadly and dangerous
aspect of the whole Masonic movement; for it cuts deeper than anything
into Christian life, whose very foundation it attacks.
The
immediate aim of the practical policy of Freemasonry is to make its
naturalistic principles effective in the lives of the people; and first
of all to enforce them in every detail of public life. Hence its
political and social programme includes:
(1) The
banishment of religion from all departments of government, and from all
public institutions; and as a mark of the triumph of this policy, the
removal of the Crucifix and all religious emblems from the legislative
assemblies, the courts of justice, the public hospitals, the schools and
university colleges, etc. (Father Edward Cahill, S.J., Freemasonry and the anti-Christian Movement,
Second Edition, Revised and Enlarged, published originally by M. H.
Gill and Son, Ltd., in Dublin, Ireland, 1930, and republished by
Kessinger Legacy Reprints, pp. 156-157.)
It
is very telling that the conciliar revolutionaries have applauded these
“developments” as most of their own colleges and universities have
divested themselves of official control of what is purported to be the
Catholic Church and have removed the Crucifix and other religious
emblems from most of their classrooms. Formerly Catholic hospitals have
done the same. Indeed, many of them, participating fully in the medical
industry’s manufactured, money-making myth of “brain death”, have merged
with secular corporations. And most Catholics in public life are fully
supportive of various evils under cover of the civil law, and none of
them is reprobated by Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who, quite instead, praises
those of them that he meets as “servants of the poor.”
To return to Father Cahill’s enumeration of the Judeo-Masonic program:
(2) The secularization of marriage.
(3)
The establishment of a State system of so-called education which, at
least in its primary stages, will be obligatory and conducted by the
laity.
(4) Complete freedom of worship (at least for all except the true one.) (Father Edward Cahill, S.J., Freemasonry and the anti-Christian Movement,
Second Edition, Revised and Enlarged, published originally by M. H.
Gill and Son, Ltd., in Dublin, Ireland, 1930, and republished by
Kessinger Legacy Reprints, p. 157.)
Absent
the Social Reign of Christ the King as It must be exercised by His
Catholic Church, men and their nations must fall into the abyss. Those
who think that the perversity represented by so-called “gay marriage”
has brought us to rock bottom are quite mistaken. Polygamy and
“marriage” to children are the next frontiers in the path of “civil
freedom” according to the logic of Judeo-Masonry. Total debauchery thus
must be enshrined under cover of the civil law and promoted and
celebrated throughout what passes for “popular culture.” (See Irreversible By Means Merely Human and Common Core: From Luther To Mann To Bismarck To Obama.)
As
has been noted so many times on this site, public schooling has been in
the control of Freemasonry from its very inception, and it is designed
to eradicate all adherence to the true Faith. (See Inside the Prison Walls.)
What
more can be said about “freedom of worship” that has not been said many
times before on this site other than to note that Jorge and Pals,
including his retired predecessor, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI believe
this heresy to be the “foundation of peace”?
To the final two points of the Judeo-Masonic program as outlined by Father Edward Cahill:
(5) Unrestrained
liberty of the Press even in the propagation of irreligious doctrines
and of principles subversive of morality; similar freedom for the stage,
the cinema, and all manner of public activities, even when injurious to
the public interest, such as the operation of the betting and gambling
agencies, the drink traffic, etc.
(6) The
elimination of all distinction between the sexes in education and in
all departments of public life and the promotion or encouragement of
radical feminism.
The
same programme usually includes or favours a (so-called) Democratic or
Republican form of government, indiscriminate universal suffrage, and
the centralization of political and administrative authority in the
hands of a bureaucracy. It is opposed on the other hand to all to the
national distinctions which are associated with the Christian virtue of
patriotism, to the ideal of strongly organized rural communities settled
permanently on the land; and finally to the organization of society in
classes bound together by ties of common interest and mutual service.
Hence its policy tends towards commercialism, a false internationalism
and extreme individualism.
It
is clear that in a social system organized according to these Masonic
ideals, the masses of the people, while nominally free, and in theory
the source of all authority in the State, would inevitably become
degraded and enslaved. Demoralized by indulgence, deprived of the
guidance and help which Christian principles give, isolated and
unorganized, mostly bereft of permanent property, having a smattering of
literacy, but without real education, they would have little or no
power of resistance against the tyranny of bureaucracies or financial
combines controlling the Press and the economic life of the country. The
substantial freedom, prosperity, and true civilization which accompany
or result from the Christian regime would give way to social conditions
akin to those of pre-Christian Rome.
Nothing
that I said in college classrooms between 1974 and 2007 or in campaigns
for public office or in lectures around the nation or wrote in various
publications or have written on this site contains an ounce of
originality concerning the state of Western civilization as it spirals
into the lowest reaches of the abyss possible, making ancient Rome seem
truly tame by way of comparison. We have been given the prescient
insights of such giants of Catholic scholarship as Fathers Edward Cahill
and Denis Fahey in Ireland and defenders of the immutable Catholic
doctrine of the Social Reign of Christ the King as Louis Edouard
“Cardinal” Pie, Monsignor Henri Delassus and Father Theotime de Just in
France.
Father Denis Fahey, writing in his The Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World, explained that we cannot be neutral in the battle between the reign of man and the Social Reign of Christ the King:
We
can thus easily see that the entrance of Christianity into the world
has meant two things. Primarily and principally, it has meant the
constitution of a supernatural society, the Mystical Body of Christ,
absolutely transcending every natural development of culture and
civilisation. Secondly, it has had as result that this supernatural
society, the Catholic Church, began to exercise a profound influence
upon culture and civilisation and modified in a far-reaching way the
existing temporal or natural social order. The indirect power of the
Church over temporal affairs, whenever the interests of the divine life
of souls are involved, presupposes, of course, a clear distinction of
nature between the ecclesiastical authority, charged with the care of
divine things, and the civil authority, whose mission is concerned with
purely temporal matters. In proportion as the Mystical Body of Christ
was accepted by mankind, political and economic thought and action began
to respect the jurisdiction and guidance of the Catholic Church,
endowed, as she is, with the right of intervention in temporal affairs
whenever necessary, because of her participation in the spiritual
kingship of Christ. Thus the natural or
temporal common good of states came to be sought in a manner calculated
to favour the development of true personality, in and through the
Mystical Body of Christ, and social life came more and more under the
influence of the supreme end of man, the vision of God in the three
divine Persons.
Accordingly,
the divine plan for order in our fallen and redeemed world comprises,
primarily, the supernatural social organism of the Catholic Church, and
then, secondarily, the temporal or natural social order resulting from
the influence of Catholic doctrine on politics and economics and from
the embodiment of that influence in social institutions. From the birth
of the Catholic Church on Calvary and the solemn promulgation of her
mission at the first Pentecost, the Kingdom of God in its essence has
been present in the world. As a result of the gradual acceptance of the
role of the Church by the temporal representatives of Christ the King,
the social institutions of states and nations became deeply permeated
with the influence of the supernatural life of Christ. Then, and only
then, could the Kingdom of God in its integrity or the rule of Christ
the King in its integrity, be said to exist. The Kingdom of God or the
rule of Christ the King is present in its integrity only in so far as
the whole social life of states, political and economic, is permeated
with the influence of the Church. To put it in other terms, Christ fully
reigns only when the programme for which He died is accepted as the one
true way to peace and order in the world, and social structures in
harmony with it are evolved.
The
Kingdom of God in its essence is always with us, but the influence of
the Church on politics and economics, in other words, the extension of
the Kingdom of God in its integrity, has varied with the centuries.
Broadly speaking, the thirteenth century has been, so far, the high
water mark of that influence. Since then, until recently, there has been
steady decay. No particular temporal social order, of course, will ever
realise all that the Church is capable of giving to the world. Each of
them will be defective for several reasons.
First
of all, the action of the Church, welcomed by some Catholics, will be
opposed by the ignorance, incapacity and perversity of others.
Secondly,
even if all Catholics did accept fully, they could only reflect some of
the beauty of the Gospel as the saints reflected some of the infinitely
imitable holiness of Christ.
Thirdly,
there would still remain the vast number of non-Catholics to be won for
Christ and have their social life organised under His rule. It is
towards this latter goal that every generation of Catholics is called
upon to work. The aim is not, needless to say, to bring back the Middle
Ages, for the river of time does not turn back in its course, but the
aim is to impregnate a new epoch with the divine principles of order so
firmly grasped in the thirteenth century. The
result of the so-called Reformation and the French Revolution has been
to obscure the rights of God proclaimed by our Lord Jesus Christ and to
diffuse naturalism.
Naturalism
consists in the negation of the possibility of the elevation of our
nature to the supernatural life and order, or more radically still, in
the negation of the very existence of that life and order. In our day
owing to the progress of the anti-Christian revolt, the more radical
meaning has become common.Naturalism may
be defined therefore as the attitude of mind which denies the reality
of the divine life of grace and of our Fall therefrom by original sin.
It rejects our consequent liability to revolt against the order of the
divine life, when this life has been restored to us by our membership of
Christ, and maintains that all social life should be organized on the
basis of that denial. We must combat that mentality and proclaim the
rights of God.
In
his Encyclical letter on Freemasonry, Pope Leo XIII teaches
authoritatively: “From what we have already set forth, it is
indisputably evident that their [the Freemasons’] ultimate aim is to
uproot completely the whole religious and political order of the world,
which has been brought into existence by Christianity, and to replace it
by another in harmony with their way of thinking. This will mean that
the foundation and the laws of the new structure of society will be
drawn from pure naturalism.” Now, it is historically certain that the
Declaration of the Rights of Man had been conceived and elaborated in
the Masonic lodges before it was presented to the States-General of
France. Accordingly, the infamous
Declaration, a naturalistic or anti-supernatural document, is in reality
a declaration of war on membership of Christ and on the whole structure
of society based on that supernatural dignity. The same naturalistic
hostility to membership of Christ and the supernatural life of grace
runs through all the documents concerning human rights drawn up under
the influence of the organised forces that were responsible for the
Declaration of 1789. That is the real struggle going on in the world,
and in it every member of Christ is called upon to play his or her part.
There can be no neutrality. “He that is not with me is against me ” (St. Matthew XII, 30.) (Father Denis Fahey, The Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World.)
In
other words, it is not possible to retard social evils by naturalistic
means. Evils are the only thing that result from naturalism. It is thus
impossible to retard the spread of one grave social evil after another
by sterile arguments based in the tortured reasoning of legal
positivists in a country whose "bottom line" is the text of a written
constitution, as subject to misinterpretation and/or deconstruction as
Holy Writ is the hands of Protestants, Modernist Catholics and
rationalists, that admits of no higher authority beyond itself. As I
have been writing and lecturing for decades now, all must fall apart
absent the Social Reign of Christ the King as It must be exercised by
Holy Mother Church in all that pertains to the good of souls.
Pope Leo XIII noted this very clearly throughout his twenty-five year pontificate, including in Tametsi Futura Prospiscentibus, November 1, 1900:
God
alone is Life. All other beings partake of life, but are not life.
Christ, from all eternity and by His very nature, is "the Life," just as
He is the Truth, because He is God of God. From Him, as from its most
sacred source, all life pervades and ever will pervade creation.
Whatever is, is by Him; whatever lives, lives by Him. For by the Word
"all things were made; and without Him was made nothing that was made."
This is true of the natural life; but, as We have sufficiently indicated
above, we have a much higher and better life, won for us by Christ's
mercy, that is to say, "the life of grace," whose happy consummation is
"the life of glory," to which all our thoughts and actions ought to be
directed. The whole object of Christian doctrine and morality is that
"we being dead to sin, should live to justice" (I Peter ii., 24)-that
is, to virtue and holiness. In this consists the moral life, with the
certain hope of a happy eternity. This justice, in order to be
advantageous to salvation, is nourished by Christian faith. "The just
man liveth by faith" (Galatians iii., II). "Without faith it is
impossible to please God" (Hebrews xi., 6). Consequently Jesus Christ,
the creator and preserver of faith, also preserves and nourishes our
moral life. This He does chiefly by the ministry of His Church. To Her,
in His wise and merciful counsel, He has entrusted certain agencies
which engender the supernatural life, protect it, and revive it if it
should fail. This generative and
conservative power of the virtues that make for salvation is therefore
lost, whenever morality is dissociated from divine faith. A system of
morality based exclusively on human reason robs man of his highest
dignity and lowers him from the supernatural to the merely natural life.
Not but that man is able by the right use of reason to know and to obey
certain principles of the natural law. But though he should know them
all and keep them inviolate through life-and even this is impossible
without the aid of the grace of our Redeemer-still it is vain for anyone
without faith to promise himself eternal salvation. "If anyone
abide not in Me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither,
and they shall gather him up and cast him into the fire, and he burneth"
john xv., 6). "He that believeth not shall be condemned" (Mark xvi.,
16). We have but too much evidence of
the value and result of a morality divorced from divine faith. How is it
that, in spite of all the zeal for the welfare of the masses, nations
are in such straits and even distress, and that the evil is daily on the
increase? We are told that society is quite able to help itself; that
it can flourish without the assistance of Christianity, and attain its
end by its own unaided efforts. Public administrators prefer a purely
secular system of government. All traces of the religion of our
forefathers are daily disappearing from political life and
administration. What blindness! Once the idea of the authority of God as
the Judge of right and wrong is forgotten, law must necessarily lose
its primary authority and justice must perish: and these are the two
most powerful and most necessary bonds of society. Similarly, once the
hope and expectation of eternal happiness is taken away, temporal goods
will be greedily sought after. Every man will strive to secure the
largest share for himself. Hence arise envy, jealousy, hatred. The
consequences are conspiracy, anarchy, nihilism. There is neither peace
abroad nor security at home. Public life is stained with crime.
So
great is this struggle of the passions and so serious the dangers
involved, that we must either anticipate ultimate ruin or seek for an
efficient remedy. It is of course both
right and necessary to punish malefactors, to educate the masses, and by
legislation to prevent crime in every possible way: but all this is by
no means sufficient. The salvation of the nations must be looked for
higher. A power greater than human must be called in to teach men's
hearts, awaken in them the sense of duty, and make them better.
This is the power which once before saved the world from destruction
when groaning under much more terrible evils. Once remove all
impediments and allow the Christian spirit to revive and grow strong in a
nation, and that nation will be healed. The strife between the classes
and the masses will die away; mutual rights will be respected. If Christ
be listened to, both rich and poor will do their duty. The former will
realise that they must observe justice and charity, the latter
self-restraint and moderation, if both are to be saved. Domestic life
will be firmly established ( by the salutary fear of God as the
Lawgiver. In the same way the precepts of the natural law, which
dictates respect for lawful authority and obedience to the laws, will
exercise their influence over the people. Seditions and conspiracies
will cease. Wherever Christianity rules over all without let or
hindrance there the order established by Divine Providence is preserved,
and both security and prosperity are the happy result. The
common welfare, then, urgently demands a return to Him from whom we
should never have gone astray; to Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the
Life,-and this on the part not only of individuals but of society as a
whole. We must restore Christ to this His own rightful possession. All
elements of the national life must be made to drink in the Life which
proceedeth from Him- legislation, political institutions, education,
marriage and family life, capital and labour. Everyone must see that the
very growth of civilisation which is so ardently desired depends
greatly upon this, since it is fed and grows not so much by material
wealth and prosperity, as by the spiritual qualities of morality and
virtue. (Pope Leo XIII, Tametsi Futura Prospicientibus, November 1, 1900.)
Anyone
who says that public life is not stained with crime is as delusional as
those who think that Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis is the "pope." And
the electoral process is closed. Closed. Chiusa. Naturalists of the
false opposite of the "right" have made their "peace" with "gay
marriage." They have heard "the people" sing. So have the justices of
the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
"Stopgap"
measures based on the "lowest common" naturalistic denominator will
always collapse as they are built on the quicksand of naturalism. The
Church Militant on earth can be battered. She will never suffer a final
defeat. "Stopgap" measures based on the "lowest common" naturalistic
denominator must, because they are based on naturalism, consist of
internal contradictions and inconsistencies that render its objectives
merely symbolic and rhetorical in nature.
Silvio
Cardinal Antoniano explained over four hundred fifty years ago that
things repugnant to the peace and happiness of eternity can never be the
foundation of temporal order:
The
more closely the temporal power of a nation aligns itself with the
spiritual, and the more it fosters and promotes the latter, by so much
the more it contributes to the conservation of the commonwealth. For it
is the aim of the ecclesiastical authority by the use of spiritual
means, to form good Christians in accordance with its own particular end
and object; and in doing this it helps at the same time to form good
citizens, and prepares them to meet their obligations as members of a
civil society. This follows of necessity because in the City of God, the
Holy Roman Catholic Church, a good citizen and an upright man are
absolutely one and the same thing. How
grave therefore is the error of those who separate things so closely
united, and who think that they can produce good citizens by ways and
methods other than those which make for the formation of good
Christians. For, let human prudence say what it likes and reason as it
pleases, it is impossible to produce true temporal peace and
tranquillity by things repugnant or opposed to the peace and happiness
of eternity. (Silvio Cardinal Antoniano, as quoted by Pope Pius XI in Divini Illius Magistri, December 31, 1929.)
It
is indeed impossible to produce true temporal peace and tranquility by
things repugnant or opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity.
Attempting to base opposition to the "marriage" of individuals steeped
in unnatural vice in violation of the Sixth and Ninth Commandments on
the existence of a legal "recognition" of that vice that is short of
"marriage" but contains many of the same legal "benefits" as marriage is
indeed repugnant to the peace and happiness of eternity. Live by the
"will of the people," my friends, and you will die by the "will of the
people." We must live and die by the Deposit of Faith that Our Blessed
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has entrusted exclusively to His Catholic
Church.
Catholics
would do well to read Father Peter Gallwey’s analysis of the dangers
that Catholics face living in a Protestant world, thus echoing in his
day the voices of Father Frederick William Faber before him and Jesuit
contemporaries of his such as Father Edwards Leen, S.J.:
Zeal
is a virtue specially odious to the luxurious and self-indulgent men
and women of the world, to those of whom Sophonias speaks: The men settled on their lees; the men who wish to enjoy present good things and not be disturbed. Ecclesiasticus describes such a one as the
man that hath peace in his possessions; that is at rest; whose ways are
prosperous in all things, and that is yet able to take meat (Ecclus. xli.), that is, to enjoy life. Zeal is a troublesome and odious virtue to such men. It censures them, and it sets a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother (St.
Matt. x.). To all Catholics who are ambitious to serve two masters,
that is, to stand well with the Protestant world and with God, zeal is a
most unpleasant virtue. They were getting on very well till the
over-zeal of the Ultramontanes roused up the Protestant spirit against
Papal aggression. Surely, they cry out with indignation, Christ’s Gospel
is a Gospel of peace and brotherhood. They forget that it is Christ
Himself Who says: Do not think that I have come to send peace upon earth. I came not to send peace, but the sword (St. Matt. x.).
But did not angels, so they contend, sing round the Crib: Peace on earth? Yes; but they spoke of that peace which the world cannot give; that peace whichpasseth understanding. The peace of the saints, the peace of the martyrs, is always a peace which passeth understanding.
The peace of the saints, the peace of the martyrs, is always won by
hard fighting. It is not at all like the effeminate peace of those who
are settled on their lees (Sophon. i.); that is, of those who
peace consists in gratifying, without being disturbed, the lust of the
eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life; that most fragile
peace which the thief can steal, and the moth consume, and which
perishes when “the husks of swine, with which they fain would fill their
bellies, no man will give to them” (St. Luke xv.). (Father P. Gallwey, The Watches of the Sacred Passion with Before and After, Volume I, published by Maressa Press, Roehampton, England, 1930, pp. 152-155.)
The
“battle,” such as it ever was, to reclaim “traditional values” is over.
Done with. Through. Decades of indoctrination in public (and many
conciliar-controlled) schools, colleges, universities, professional
schools, “music,” motion pictures and the channels of supposed “news”
and information” has won the day. Moral relativism is triumphant. Legal
positivism is triumphant. Statism is triumphant. Upon what rational
basis does anyone, no less a believing Catholic, think that the advance
of one moral evil after another is going to be retarded at the ballot
box when the “pope” shows his full support for those who have undergone
the bodily mutilation of “gender change” and goes so far as to wash the
feet of one such unfortunate soul on Maundy Thursday, March 23, 2016.
Ah,
lest anyone be fooled by the conflict between Bergoglio and Trump, we
must remember that he has celebrated indecency and and indemnified
perversity throghot his entire adult life. The differences between them
are not as significant as they and their cheerleaders believe is the
case.
Even
believing Catholics permit themselves to be drawn into the devil's side
shows during Holy Week, forever looking for "good guys" to fight the
"bad guys" and winding up permitting themselves to be deceived time and
time and time again without fail.
Then
again, almost no one, including many of those who read the articles on
this site, actually believe that what Pope Saint Pius X wrote in Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910, applies to the United States of America:
Here
we have, founded by Catholics, an inter-denominational association that
is to work for the reform of civilization, an undertaking which is
above all religious in character; for
there is no true civilization without a moral civilization, and no true
moral civilization without the true religion: it is a proven truth, a
historical fact. The new Sillonists cannot pretend that they are
merely working on “the ground of practical realities” where differences
of belief do not matter. Their leader is so conscious of the influence
which the convictions of the mind have upon the result of the action,
that he invites them, whatever religion they may belong to, “to provide
on the ground of practical realities, the proof of the excellence of
their personal convictions.” And with good reason: indeed, all practical
results reflect the nature of one’s religious convictions, just as the
limbs of a man down to his finger-tips, owe their very shape to the
principle of life that dwells in his body.
This being said, what must be thought of the promiscuity in which young Catholics will be caught up with heterodox and unbelieving folk in a work of this nature? Is it not a thousand-fold more dangerous for them than a neutral association? What are we to think of this appeal to all the heterodox, and to all the unbelievers, to prove the excellence of their convictions in the social sphere in a sort of apologetic contest? Has not this contest lasted for nineteen centuries in conditions less dangerous for the faith of Catholics? And was it not all to the credit of the Catholic Church? What are we to think of this respect for all errors, and of this strange invitation made by a Catholic to all the dissidents to strengthen their convictions through study so that they may have more and more abundant sources of fresh forces? What are we to think of an association in which all religions and even Free-Thought may express themselves openly and in complete freedom? For the Sillonists who, in public lectures and elsewhere, proudly proclaim their personal faith, certainly do not intend to silence others nor do they intend to prevent a Protestant from asserting his Protestantism, and the skeptic from affirming his skepticism. Finally, what are we to think of a Catholic who, on entering his study group, leaves his Catholicism outside the door so as not to alarm his comrades who, “dreaming of disinterested social action, are not inclined to make it serve the triumph of interests, coteries and even convictions whatever they may be”? Such is the profession of faith of the New Democratic Committee for Social Action which has taken over the main objective of the previous organization and which, they say, “breaking the double meaning which surround the Greater Sillon both in reactionary and anti-clerical circles”, is now open to all men “who respect moral and religious forces and who are convinced that no genuine social emancipation is possible without the leaven of generous idealism.” (Pope Saint Pius X, Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910.)

We
must have confidence in Our Lady, consecrating ourselves to her Divine
Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through her Sorrowful and
Immaculate Heart, praying as many Rosaries each day as our
states-in-life. We must remembered that we have been elected by Our Lord
Himself to be Catholic when we were baptized. We are destined to be
citizens of Heaven if we peservere the graces He won for us on Calvary
and that flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our
Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces, and there is only one
judicial verdict that matters: that of Christ the King upon our immortal
souls at the moment of our Particular Judgment.
No
matter the agitation or distraction of the moment, we can be assured
that our efforts to restore the Social Reign of Christ the King by means
of our total consecration to Him through Mary our Immaculate Queen will
help to plant a few seeds for the conversion of men and their nations
to the true Faith as we, recidivist sinners that we are, attempt to make
reparation for our sins and those of the whole world, remembering to
say each day:
O
Jesus, it is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in
reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of
Mary."
These
are the words spoken by the Mother of God in the Cova da Iria near
Fatima, Portugal, on July 13, 1917, nearly a full century ago. They
should be on our lips at all times so that there will come a day when
the words uttered by the Cristeros in Mexico and the brave Catholics
during the Spanish Revolution will be on the lips of all men and
heralded on the flags of all nations:
Viva Cristo Rey!
Isn't it time to pray a Rosary now?
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
Saint Joseph, Patron of Departing Souls, pray for us.
Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.
Saint John the Baptist, pray for us.
Saint John the Evangelist, pray for us.
Saint Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
Saint Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us.
Saint Raphael the Archangel, pray for us.
Saints Joachim and Anne, pray for us.
Saints Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar, pray for us.
Saint Mary Magdalene de Pazzi, pray for us.
