SILENT HOPE

Amidst
the sirens blowing,
Beneath
the feet of those conspiring
To
unseat Christ the King, an earth violently trembling
Just
above the caves and dens of men
Confusion
reigns in a world no longer knowing
God
forgotten?
Fear
persuading hearts as the holy angels now assembling,
Man’s
sentence no longer delayed
But
it is Love which keeps us moving
For
it was in man’s attempt to move “forward”
In
constant motion that he has lost his way
Yea,
when the night is long
It
is due to self-love being so strong
Man,
in self-reflection, now recognizing, he was led astray
Nay,
in this dark descending, where nothing “goes right”
Lo’
is ripe for the cries of repentance
Shout
once again for true Light
The
dawn of Fatima’s new day
And
out of this scene of death and destruction
Upon
the canvas of sin
A
Woman’s Face now yet again appears, boldly She stands
Who is
crowned with twelve stars
That
calms the four corners of the earth
Assisting
with every need
And
whose hand helps to purify the lands
Do
you still believe?
For
as man grieves under the Cross
Where
suffering and created hearts elope
I
hear the Wind speak amidst man now weak
Seeking
in humility to be led
“One
Baptism, One Faith, One Church, One Pope”
Here,
where an eagle’s wings spread
In
this state of dread……in silent hope
