Gentle As The Breeze
Gentle as the Breeze,
Your soft touch fulfills my every need
Lying, no more
Your Wind heals all harsh wounds
On top of your field of green, contemplating
Your Sight gazes unto my very core
It is these moments, in which, time seemingly stops
And my heart will pause, for it is You alone, I long for
Slowly falling like the Autumn leaves,
Your Love descends amongst men
It is Your sweet Passion which leads
Yea, Thou art a Rose out amongst the worlds weeds
For, I, too, looked for the one who would comfort
And found none but You standing tall amidst my deepest suffering
For it is only under duress with much pressure and stress
That the “self” can be squeezed out of me
And out wouldst come between these legs of pain
My newborn brother humility
Yea, it is in Your arms, I die
Wherein I would ask “the Why’s”
And Your sweet Voice replies
“Soon enough you will clearly see”
Preparing, for Your sweet smell encompasses my whole being
Your holy fragrance, enveloping mystically
It is off Your Body alone that an eagle feeds
Thy Sacred Heart burning compassionately in Charity
As I sit, still, beneath thy Tree
For Gentle Is thy breeze,
It is here in this world of lies
I lay in the calm of Your soothing Palms
I withdraw unto thy Mountain in silence and solitude
That I might find You arising as Fire to speak
For You alone speak honestly
Thou sayest…
“Forget about yourself and press onward toward My Glory”
And with the wings of faith and hope
I uproot all thy doubts and worries”
For as Gentle as the Breeze
Your Sacred Heart, for sinners, still bleeds
Where Love’s responsibility met a wooden cross
To produce Redemption through holy suffering
It is where all must be lost
In order to gain You, my Everything
Where Your Word
Quiets the Storm and calms my unstable inward seas
Where Your Unfathomable Peace
Calms, at once, the whole world’s anxiety
Yea, where an eagle flies high into thy skies
That he might be set free
Gentle as the Breeze,
Wherein I cling close and remain as One with Thee
For Thou art Gentle as the breeze….
Which hiddenly consumes me
