WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

New Apostolic Exhortation: Francis Is Patronising the Gospel

New Apostolic Exhortation: Francis Is Patronising the Gospel
Captain Chaos striking again.  At WYD, June 2016 - “You must do your duty and make chaos all night."

Infovaticana.com (April 8) leaked the original Spanish version of Pope Francis' Apostolic Exhortation “Gaudete et exsultate” which is due to be published on April 9.

The exhortation rejects a caricature of contemplative life, “It is not healthy to love the silence and avoid the encounter with the other, to desire rest and reject activity, to seek prayer and to despise service” (26). This statement follows the unfortunate pattern of Francis to compare fresh apples with rotten pears.

Talking about the Gospel's moral teaching - such as condemning adultery - Francis presents another caricature by criticising the attempt “to reduce Jesus’ teaching to a cold and hard logic that seeks to dominate everything” (39).

Supposing that he is more clever than Holy Scripture, Francis claims that the biblical authors had a "limited conceptual baggage to express some realities" suggesting that they may have confused an epilepsy with a demonic possession (160).

However, he graciously concedes that at least some of the cases narrated in the Gospels may still have something to do with the devil.
