The Trump Presidency: A Repeat Of G.W. Bush?
By Chuck Baldwin
The
Republican Party claims to be “pro-life” and “the party of smaller
government.” President Donald Trump claims to be “pro-life” and for
“smaller government.” It’s all a pack of lies.
With the
Republicans in total control of both houses of Congress and the White
House, they voted for—and Trump quickly signed—the biggest spending bill
in U.S. history. The bill, which was co-authored by Senator Chuck
Schumer (D-New York) and Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), explodes
the federal deficit by over $400 billion, and, get this: it fully funds
America’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.
After he signed this fiscally irresponsible (and
blatantly unconstitutional) bill, Donald Trump had the gall to blame
Democrats for the massive spending bill. And, amazingly, there are
millions of so-called conservatives that believe him. What a crock! If
it wasn’t so serious, it would be laughable. When the Democrats are in
power, it’s the Democrats’ fault, and when the Republicans are in power,
it’s still the Democrats’ fault. But worse than that obvious deceit and
duplicity is the realization that millions of Christians and
conservatives actually believe it.
P.T. Barnum nailed it. “There’s a sucker born every
minute,” he is quoted as saying. And a whole bunch of these suckers call
themselves conservatives.
In opposing the bill, Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky)
rightly said, “When the Democrats are in power, Republicans appear to be
the conservative party. But when Republicans are in power, it seems
there is no conservative party.” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-North Carolina)
lamented, “This is not what the American people sent us here to do.”
The massive spending bill eliminates the budget caps that were put in place in 2011 under BARACK OBAMA.
Rand Paul rightly criticized, “We have Republicans hand-in-hand with Democrats offering us trillion-dollar deficits.”
Here is how House members voted:
And here is how Senate members voted:
And again, what few people are talking about is that
after promising voters that he would defund Planned Parenthood, the
gigantic spending bill that Trump signed FULLY FUNDS the nation’s
largest abortion provider.
Just as when G.W. Bush was president and the Republicans controlled
both houses of Congress, NOTHING is being done to overturn Roe v Wade
or defund Planned Parenthood—or reduce federal spending. More and more,
the Trump presidency is looking like a carbon copy of G.W. Bush’s.
Donald Trump and a majority of the Republican Congress
are absolutely worthless. No, they are worse than worthless; they are
disgusting, despicable liars and hypocrites.
In a letter to pro-lifers during the presidential campaign, Trump said, "I am committed to . . . defunding Planned Parenthood."
TRUMP LIED . . . AGAIN.
Just as he lied about "draining the swamp," overturning
DACA, no amnesty for illegals, no escalation of foreign wars, drawing
down NATO, repealing Obamacare (the bill Trump and congressional
Republicans proposed to replace Obamacare was actually WORSE than
Obamacare), ad infinitum, he also lied about defunding Planned
Parenthood and shrinking the size of the federal government.
Just last month, Vice President Mike Pence promised
pro-lifers that Trump was the most "pro-life" president in history (not
that that means anything). But Trump and the rest of the lying
Republicans continue to force taxpayers to pay for the legalized murder
of unborn babies by fully funding Planned Parenthood in the
Schumer/McConnell budget deal that Trump just signed.
It's business as usual in Washington, D.C.—and that business includes baby killing.
It’s also business as usual among conservatives and
Christians as they continue to support these Republican hypocrites and
liars.
No sooner had Donald Trump signed the bill that fully
funds Planned Parenthood, than he proposed a 2019 budget to “defund”
Planned Parenthood. And millions of pro-lifers are swallowing Trump’s
proposal—a proposal that has NO force of law—while blindly overlooking
the fact that Trump just fully funded Planned Parenthood for the next
two years by signing the Schumer/McConnell spending bill into law.
Here’s the fact: Christians and conservatives by the
millions will swallow anything Trump SAYS and overlook and ignore
everything he actually DOES. It’s a diabolical delusion that seems to be
enveloping the entire country. The only time conservatives and
Christians seem to be awake is when Democrats are in power. The rest of
the time they are in an extended state of deep hypnosis.
All presidents propose annual budgets—mainly for the
purpose of political theater—to make the people that voted for them
(right or left) think they really meant what they said while
campaigning. But all presidents know that Congress—and Congress
alone—has the power to actually write and pass spending bills. A
President’s only options are to either sign the spending bill into law
or to veto it and thereby force Congress to pass it over his veto.
And that’s exactly what Trump should have done with this
Godzilla of all spending bills: veto the stupid thing. But he didn’t. He
promoted it, and he signed Schumer/McConnell into law.
All of his talk about it being the Democrats’ fault—and
proposing budgets over which he has absolutely no authority—is nothing
but smoke and mirrors. It’s a dog and pony show. It’s public theater for
the easily duped.
And all of this talk among Christians and conservatives about Trump changing things is a joke.
Trump’s done a lot of talking and has changed nothing, except make
people THINK he's changing things—while actually doing the bidding of
globalist Zionists as much as any Democrat. People need to get off of
the train and take a hard look at reality.
What exactly has Trump changed? The swamp is deeper; the
federal government is bigger; foreign wars are escalating; babies are
still being legally butchered in the womb (with taxpayer funding); the
sodomite agenda is still mushrooming; the Police State is growing faster
than ever; the "war on terror" is trampling more liberties and creating
more jihadists than ever; the "war on drugs" is throwing more harmless
people in jail and seizing more personal property than ever; we are
closer to global nuclear war than at any other time in history, ad
infinitum.
The only positive impact Trump has made to date is
perhaps stalling momentum for more gun control. But given the way Trump
has broken other promises, it will not surprise me if he also betrays
the Second Amendment in the near future. I don’t believe Donald Trump
has an honest bone in his body.
And Trump toadies like Alex Jones are making fools of themselves by
the way they continue to fawn over Donald Trump. It pains me to say it,
but I am beginning to wonder if Jones hasn’t been a Zionist plant all
along. And ditto for Matt Drudge. I’ll tell you this for a fact: Look
closely in the closets of these Trump toadies, and you will find a
gaggle of Zionists.
Read this report about Alex Jones’ Israeli/Mossad connections:
This pathetic phenomenon is the result of the whole left/right, “lesser of two evils” paradigm.
If there are any honest conservatives and
constitutionalists who supported and voted for Donald Trump still out
there, all I ask is that you use the SAME measuring stick with which you
judged Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton (and every other Democrat) for
Donald Trump (and every other Republican). And that measuring stick is
not campaign speeches and promises; it is not presidential tweets; it is
not the constant cover-ups of phony conservative radio and television
talk show hosts like Sean Hannity; it is not Republican talking points
and sound bites: It is THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AND GOD’S
NATURAL LAW.
Do we need a viable, competitive third party? You bet we
do. Do we need to break the Democrat/Republican stranglehold over
American politics? You bet we do. But more than we need any of that, we
need people who say they believe in God and the Constitution to start
acting like it. That means facing down the people in our own party when
they violate the laws of God and constitutional government. It means
stop focusing on political partisanship and start paying attention to
our Natural liberties contained in the Bill of Rights. It means jumping
like a chicken on a June bug when Bill Clinton or G.W. Bush or Barack
Obama or Donald Trump or any other president or congressman strays from
their oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the
United States.” Furthermore, it is in the best interests of Christians
and non-Christians alike to recognize and defend the Natural laws of God
that protect everyone’s liberties.
When ANY civil magistrate violates their oath to the
Constitution and a commitment to the Natural liberties given us by our
Creator, they must be opposed. And if they don’t get the message, they
must be voted out of office.
Donald Trump is only one year into his presidency. If all
of the people who claim to be conservatives, Christians, and
constitutionalists would be true to their professed beliefs and would
hold Trump’s feet to the fire, he MIGHT come to recognize that his only
hope for reelection is to man up about following his oath to the
Constitution and to the people who elected him. But as long as Trump’s
supporters behave like lap dogs and mindless zombies, and ignore,
justify, and even praise Trump when he breaks his oath, all they are
doing is facilitating the further destruction of our republic.
Americans need to hear Thomas Jefferson again, "In
questions of power then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but
bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution."
Believe it or not, I am not angry at Donald Trump. I am
angry at the millions of Trump supporters who are giving Trump a pass
for the same things for which they condemned Hillary Clinton and Barack
Obama. I am angry that these good people are more devoted to
personalities and political parties than they are to the laws of God and
to the principles of constitutional government.
When it comes to how we react to elected politicians, we
should all be completely indifferent to their race, denomination, or
political party but fanatically loyal to constitutional government and
the Natural laws of God.
As it stands right now, the Republican vs. Democrat
battle in Washington, D.C., is nothing but a charade. Members of both
parties (including Donald Trump) are routinely selling their oaths of
office to compromise and capitulation, selling their souls to power
(including foreign power), and selling our country’s independence and
Christian heritage to the forces of Zionism (which is at the heart of
globalism).
Anyone who says he is opposed to globalism but promotes
Zionism is a fraud. I’ll say it straight out: Zionism IS globalism.
Zionism is also neoconism. And Donald Trump is the most Zionist
president in history. So, what does that tell you?
Plus, it isn’t encouraging when we learn that the national GOP is
groveling before billionaire casino mogul and high-level Zionist Sheldon
Adelson in the hopes he will fund much of their key campaigns in the
upcoming elections this fall.
See the report here:
Of course, the Zionist Adelson was a major financial
contributor to Trump’s 2016 campaign. He gave over $100 million to
Trump’s presidential campaign. He also gave over $50 million to
Republican super PACs in 2016. What a coincidence that Trump and most of
the Republican Congress are lackeys for Zionist interests. And
Adelson’s contributions do not include the millions of dollars that are
funneled into the campaigns of congressmen and senators from Zionist
special interest groups. These groups spend millions of dollars lobbying
Congress and other organizations on behalf of Israel and Zionism. Here
is a partial list:
*The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)—Spends
$2-3 million annually lobbying Congress on behalf of Israel and
promoting Zionist causes—and also frequently writes legislation for
Congress.
*The American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF)—Spends millions of dollars annually on paid trips to Israel for members of Congress.
*Anti-Defamation League (ADL)—Spends millions of
dollars annually spying on Americans who are critical of Israel and uses
massive amounts of money in smearing those people not deemed friendly
to Israel. The mainstream media also promotes the Zionist agenda by
accusing those on ADL lists as being “anti-Semitic.”
*International Fellowship of Christians and Jews—Uses a $100 million revenue stream to promote Israel/Zionism among evangelical Christians.
*Central Fund of Israel—Uses a $20 million revenue stream promoting Israeli settlements in Palestine.
*Christians United for Israel—Founded by John
Hagee and run by a Jewish American attorney from Tel Aviv, David Brog.
Its lobbying arm is called CUFI Action Fund, is headed by Gary Bauer,
and uses a $7 million annual budget to lobby members of Congress on
behalf of Zionist causes. Hagee himself has given more than $80 million
to Zionist causes in Israel.

See the list here:
A cursory review of the amounts of money spent by these Zionist
organizations for congressional lobbying efforts, Jewish propaganda,
media infiltration, influence and propaganda within Christian groups,
witch-hunting and public destruction for Jewish detractors, education
indoctrination, etc., amounts to billions of dollars annually. There is
no other single special interest group in the world that has the kind of
money and clout to affect U.S. policy and legislation as does the
Israeli lobby. So when you hear someone say that the Israeli lobby
controls—or at the very least heavily influences—the U.S. Congress and
national news media, they aren’t lying.
Indeed, perhaps the blindness of Christian people to the scourge of
Zionism might be at the root of most of the evil that is engulfing our
country today. But, of course, this blindness cannot be removed from the
hearts of America’s Christians until it is first removed from the
hearts of America’s pastors. But that’s a topic for another day.
Right now, Trump’s supporters need to get real about
binding down Donald Trump—and the rest of the Republicans in Washington,
D.C.—by “the chains of the Constitution” before his presidency becomes a
repeat of the G.W. Bush years. Because, as I said, at this point that
is exactly what Trump’s presidency is looking like.
