Fear Factor? Get In The Fortress!
By: Eric Gajewski
As some of you know I have been
working on a book on and off again for the past 5 years. It relates to
the interior life and is called “Fortress of the Soul”. In an hour where darkness is seemingly
surrounding us it is of the utmost importance to stay on guard over all your
hearts movements. In short, the Fortress is
threefold. It represents Our Lady the
Church and of course Christ. I will
expound upon this in the book in further detail but it is vital to understand
how important each of these aspects are vital for our salvation and more specifically
for protection in the days ahead. We all know the
devil wants us to succumb to fear yet perfect Love cast out all fear. Thus we must
stay within these Walls of grace to obtain that protection in the days ahead.
Our Lady warns of the 3 days of darkness on 20th of
September 1882, "AND HELL WILL BE LOOSED ON EARTH. Thunder and
lightning will cause those who have no faith or trust in My Power, to
die of fear."
If we read all of the prophecies it
is clear that those whose hearts are not found in this Fortress of Faith will
die of fright. Our Lord warned through
Marie Julie Jahenny that those not trusting in Our Lord will even die of fright
that is how horrible the three days of darkness will be. Let us not forget the economic collapse,
world revolutions and world war 3 which will precede this chastisement. Is your heart detached now from all
things? Will you be found in this
Fortress at the worst moments or be caught off guard by sin and its allurement? God will be making it very clear to ALL that
it is He must be relied upon for all things and it is He who must be first. Modern man has so elevated himself and the self that he now needs to get knocked off his high horse like Saul. Furthermore, who helps to lead us to Him and His
Catholic Church and Faith? It is the
Blessed Virgin Mary.
"But the power of Mary over all the devils will especially shine forth
in the latter times, when Satan will lay his snares against her heel:
that is to say, her humble slaves and her poor children, whom she will raise up to make war against him. They shall be little and poor in the world’s esteem, and abased before all like the heel, trodden underfoot and persecuted as the heel is by the other members of the body. But in return for this, they shall be rich in the grace
of God, which Mary shall distribute to them abundantly. They shall be great and exalted before God in sanctity, superior to all other creatures by their lively zeal, and so well
sustained with God’s assistance that, with the humility of their heel, in union with Mary, they shall crush the head of the devil and cause
Jesus Christ to triumph."

First, Mary plays a very important role
in these end times. Mary is new Ark
prefigured in the Old Testament as a place of refugee during the Flood. She now will house and fortify the elect
during this unprecedented fiery period of trial. Those close to Mary are secure and those who
are not are not found safely in this Fortress this is certain. We know from Catholic teaching we can get
grace through Mary which comes from our Source Christ Himself. It is she who guides us in this interior
journey through the Fortress into a deeper relationship with Christ. Thus, Mary is a Fortress and so is her
rosary. Within her is the Church and
Christ found. Within her Walls is the
true Faith which alone pleases Christ.
Second, in order for a soul to be
found in this Fortress we must be in His true Church for there is only
One. Without the proper norm of faith
(Catholic) it is impossible to please God and thus those heretics who obstinately
reject Mary or the Church will be found “naked” like Adam and Eve on the Day of
Wrath. The Walls of this Fortress are
those Dogmas which cannot change nor be rejected in order to be found safely
within. The modernists of Vatican II
(objectively speaking) are outside these Walls, in fact, they have been at work
in trying to create a pseudo Fortress themselves built only by natural means
alone. “I saw that many pastors allowed themselves to be taken
up with ideas that were dangerous to the Church. They were building a
great, strange, and extravagant Church. Everyone was to be admitted in
it in order to be united and have equal rights: Evangelicals, Catholics,
sects of every description. Such was to be the new Church…”
Blessed Emmerick Just like the Ark was taught to be the Church in which the elect were found safe, so too, is
this Fortress applicable to our time.
Lastly, Our Lord certainly is Our
Fortress and defender. I would not want
to be the enemy in the days ahead when He manifests His righteous anger amongst
those who have come up against His Church.
The enemy cannot dwell within nor penetrate these Walls because it is
divine. This is, of course, not to say
that the enemy hasn’t infiltrated (physically) the Church because we are now speaking
specifically on interior matters. Who
are those to be found outside these walls then?
All those not in a state of grace due to mortal sin. This will include Protestant heretics (heresy is mortal sin and separates ones self from the Catholic Body of Christ). I would also include those in the Conciliar
Church who obstinately reject Tradition.
Many of these souls find the chastisements coming to be a joke,
therefore, they too, will be caught off guard and found naked. This threefold understanding of the Fortress
of the Soul must be maintained whole and inviolate. For to say I have Christ and not the Church’s
teachings means you are not safe. To say
I have the Church and have not Mary is likewise not safe. Hopefully now those coming onto to tradcatknight daily can
better understand and appreciate the background picture in the distance on this
website. We need Mary, the Church and
Our Lord to get through the fiery afflictions ahead. We truly cannot have one without the
others. Only eight survived the Flood in the Old
Testament and Our Lord said the suffering would be worse in our times and still
so many do not take their prayer life seriously.
Blessed Emmerick:
October 22, 1822: “‘Very evil times are coming,’ [my guide] said. ‘The non-Catholics will mislead many. They will use every possible means to entice them from the Church, and great disturbances will follow.’ I had then another vision in which I saw the King’s daughter armed for the struggle. Multitudes contributed to this with prayers, good works, all sorts of labors and self-victories which passed from hand to hand up to Heaven where each was wrought, according to its kind, into a piece of armor for the virgin warrior. The perfect adjustment of the various pieces was most remarkable, as also their wonderful signification. She was armed from head to foot. I knew many of those who contributed the armor, and I saw with surprise that whole institutions and great and learned people furnished nothing. The contribution was made chiefly by the poor and lowly. And now I saw the battle. The enemies’ ranks were by far the more numerous; but the little body of the faithful cut down whole rows of them. The armed virgin stood off on a hill. I ran to her, pleading for my country and those other places for which I had to pray. She was armed singularly, but significantly, with helmet, shield, and coat of mail, and the soldiers were like those of our own day. The battle was terrible; only a handful of victorious champions survived!”
