Rappers sing about a variety of issues, but God is seldom one of them.
That is why Fresh Sánchez and Black Soul are breaking the unwritten laws of rap with lyrics inspired by their faith that speak directly about God.
This is one of the songs of their last album, "Luz,” or light, which explores the meaning of this word, light, from a Christian point of view.
Their goal is to discover the significance of light as a symbol of Christ Risen. The lyrics of the album describe their own personal experiences of encounter with Jesus.
This is the Fresh Sánchez's seventh album, in which he has collaborated with Black Soul, a duet made up of the rappers Josué and JeriAndCo.
Fresh
Sánchez states that "his ultimate goal is to follow in Jesus' steps and
to spread His word amongs young people,” and rap is an unbeatable way
to do that.
