TRADCATKNIGHT: 3 P’s: Prayer is a Fortress of the Soul

“Without prayer we go nowhere…”
Brothers and sisters I write to you on behalf of the Immaculate and Sacred Hearts and all the graces that flow thereof. In writing, over time, it came as inspiration to title the book “Fortress of the Soul”. This title was meant to describe the three-fold expression of the Church, Our Lady and Lord but I must also make mention of a fourth expression and this is of prayer. In stumbling upon some more of the writings of Marie Julie we see this gem from 1878, “The Holy Spirit reminds me (MARIE JULIE) right now with a very short word about mental prayer. Mental prayer is the bread of the soul, the fortress of the soul.” How many of us stop to consider how little we truly pray throughout the day when it is literally the most important aspect of the interior life?
