Pat Henry is a proud U.S. Army veteran, husband, father, and patriot. Pat became troubled with the direction of our country and the rest of the world. With the realization that our “just in time” society has become too reliant on a withering infrastructure and a fragile transportation system that feeds every support chain within our country, Pat knew that it would take very little in the way of a disaster, crisis or attack to trigger a domino chain collapse of life as we know it.
To prepare himself, his family, and even his community, Pat draws upon his military experience and several years of survival training to develop a self-reliant lifestyle and a fast-response action plan for when the warning signs of impending doom turn to red flags. Preparing for life’s unexpected natural events while carefully watching the horizon for threats that are more sinister in nature, Pat shares his preparedness knowledge, trials, and yes… even errors on his blog, the Prepper Journal, so that others can take the basic steps to prepare and defend their families.
