Satanism, Blasphemy, and the Abandonment of Morals and Principles
Luiz Sérgio Solimeo
When a society abandons the principles that made it strong and kept it united—in the American case specifically the teachings of Christianity—it begins to decompose and paves the way for the resurgence of all kinds of superstitions.
This is what happens when one neglects natural morals, shown to us by our intellect, and the Ten Commandments, which synthesize the natural law and the divine law. This Higher Law serves as an unfailing guide for men, giving them peace of mind on this earth and the heavenly reward in the next life.
Accordingly, contempt for morals destroys peace of soul and leads to the worst aberrations. Away from virtue, having abandoned truth, men lose the notion of good and evil. They then seek in pagan chimeras and Satanism a justification for their vices and a purpose for their lives.
Then, from the dark dens of society where they took refuge, exotic and idolatrous cults, including satanic ones, emerge to the surface.
Satanism as a Challenge to God
The “Black Masses” at Harvard (attempted May 12, 2014), Oklahoma City (September 21, 2014) and other ceremonies worshiping the fallen angel, the “old serpent, who is called the devil and Satan” (Apocalypse 12:9) are an example of the decadence in which we find ourselves. This is contempt for truth and virtue, and a challenge to God.
Now the group called Dakhma of Angra Mainyu, which staged the “black mass” at the Oklahoma Civic Center in 2014 and promoted the sacrilegious “desecration” of a statue of the Blessed Mother in 2015, proposes to do so again.
An OKC Civic Center Music Hall post describes the event this way:
- Presented by Dakhma of Angra Mainyu
- Monday, August 15, 2016 – 7pm
- 16 years of age and above, due to adult content.
- The Consumption of Mary by Jai Kali Maa, is an event that will have 2 separate rituals that will show the evolution from Satanism to Ahrimanism. The first ritual will be the Black Mass as done in 2014, The second ritual will be the Consumption of Mary by Jai Kali Maa. The second ritual will educate the public on the practice of Ahrimanism.
The devil as “god” and the Blessed Mother as “devil”
Both the Satanic “Black Mass” sacrilege and the blasphemy against Mary Most Holy show diabolical pride and rebellion against God, as when Satan first proclaimed: “I will not serve” (Jeremiah 2:20).
“Goddess” Jai Kali Maa, invoked against Holy Mary, is actually a demon. She is depicted as a woman showing a huge red tongue, with many arms, two of them holding a bloody sword, bare-breasted and with a “necklace” of severed heads or skulls as adornment. At her side appear mangled, beheaded bodies, gushing blood through their necks, surrounded by severed arms and legs.
Reparation and Protest: “Stand Fast in the Faith”
This “goddess” is supposed to destroy demons (asuras), one of whom (according to the blasphemy’s promoters) is “known as St. Mary the Virgin.” The Satanists have a special hatred of the Virgin Mary because She crushes the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15).
Catholics that prize their faith and have devotion to the Mother of God cannot remain indifferent to such grievous sacrilege. In addition to prayers and sacrifices of reparation, Catholics and all people of good will can sign the petition that the TFP is promoting to prevent the event. You can also join at least in spirit the public protest the TFP will hold before the Civic Center at 5:30 PM on August 15, 2016.
Let us do as Saint Paul recommends: “Stand fast in the faith, do manfully, and be strengthened” (1 Corinthians 16:13).
