Celebrities are coming to the aid of the abortion chain Planned
Parenthood again after its major losses in the election last week.
In typical Hollywood fashion, celebrity abortion supporters are responding with public support and donations to the abortion chain. Singer Katy Perry announced this week that she donated $10,000 to Planned Parenthood, ABC News reports.
In a message on Instagram, Perry said she wants to put her words into action, and she urged other people to support Planned Parenthood, too.
“There are so many steps to take, but my first vow is to support organizations that may have their funding support taken from them in the future by the government,” she wrote. “I am making a public donation to Planned Parenthood for the teenage me who made several visits to first a clinic in Santa Barbara and then Los Angeles, CA to educate myself on my sexual health, a subject I had little to no information on because of my sheltered upbringing. I had no idea how things worked down there, and had no idea how to make a plan for them.”

She said the abortion chain helped her to “focus on my dreams and us[e] my voice until I knew the timing was right for me to make a plan to have a family. Since then, I have been able to focus wholeheartedly on bringing messages of strength and becoming a voice for others. Without this education, I may have had a different life path.
“I know what it’s like to need help,” Perry continued. “I came from a lower- to middle-class family and never grew up with the option of health insurance.”
The abortion chain currently receives about half a billion taxpayer dollars every year, despite performing about 320,000 abortions annually – more than any other group in the United States. Pro-abortion President Barack Obama blocked recent efforts to defund Planned Parenthood in the wake of undercover videos exposing its baby body parts harvesting trade. But defunding the abortion chain seems a very real possibility with Donald Trump in the White House and Republican majorities in the House and Senate.
Though Trump has made some positive comments about Planned Parenthood, he consistently has said he would sign legislation to defund Planned Parenthood as long as it keeps doing abortions.
During a February interview with CBN’s David Brody, Trump said, “There are a lot of women taken care of by Planned Parenthood so we have to remember that but I am for defunding Planned Parenthood as long as they are involved with abortion.”
In September, Trump reiterated his commitment to this in a letter outlining pro-life policy specifics.
“I am committed to defunding Planned Parenthood as long as they continue to perform abortions and reallocating their funding to community health centers that provide comprehensive health care for women,” Trump said in the letter.
Planned Parenthood has been caught in numerous scandals involving potentially illegal sales of aborted babies’ body parts, possible Medicaid fraud and failures to report sexual abuse of minors. The tax money Planned Parenthood receives is not supposed to be used for abortions, but evidence indicates that some of its abortion facilities are.
New Texas Bill Would Ban Late-Term Abortions on Disabled Babies
Despite a setback at the U.S. Supreme Court this summer, Texas lawmakers are refusing to give up on their efforts to protect unborn babies from abortion.
On Monday, state Rep. Matt Schaefer, R-Tyler, filed a bill that would protect babies with disabilities by prohibiting women from having late-term abortions because of a fetal anomaly, according to Dallas News.Texas House Bill 87 would change state legislation that currently allows “abortions to take place in the third trimester only if the fetus is not viable, if the abortion is necessary to prevent death or serious impairment to the woman or if the fetus has a severe abnormality,” according to the report.
Legislators also introduced three other abortion-related measures, including a bill to increase reporting requirements for abortion facilities and a bill to require that aborted babies’ remains be cremated or buried, the report states. A third measure would amend the state constitution to extend the rights of life and liberty to unborn babies and prohibit abortions, according to the report.
Two other states, Indiana and North Dakota, already passed similar legislation to ban abortions based on fetal abnormalities. Earlier this year, Indiana lawmakers approved a bill to prohibit abortions on unborn babies based solely on a genetic disorder such as Down syndrome, the baby’s race or sex.

In 2013, North Dakota became the first state to pass a similar bill to protect unborn babies from abortions because of disabilities. A handful of states also ban abortions based solely on the baby’s sex.
Nursing Home Euthanizes Woman Who Only Had a Bladder Infection
I received an email from a person, whose Aunt died by euthanasia, even though she might only have a bladder infection. This email letter proves out that the supposed safeguards in Canada’s euthanasia law are ineffective and ignored by euthanasia doctors who are deciding who lives and who dies.
The letter is edited for privacy:My Aunt … was just Euthanized today Nov 9, 2016 by Lethal injection at … Retirement Home … in BC. We were called to a meeting at … Hospice on Nov 7, 2016 to be told for the first time that our … Aunt had requested to be Euthanized. We were told it would take at least 10 days. My sister and I argued that our Aunt appears to only have a severe Bladder infection. The Hospice Doctor said he would look into having her urine tested for this before they proceed with Euthanasia.
The same day we were sent over to our Aunts apartment to witness the doctor (that is going to give our Aunt the Lethal injection) having our Aunt sign the document to give her the permission to do the euthanasia. After the Doctor read out the document to My Aunt; the doctor went and got a woman that works in the kitchen to initial all the questions for my Aunt. The Doctor brought two people to be witnesses into the room that had been witnesses for other Euthanizations.
When we mentioned the urine tests we had asked to be done; the euthanizing Doctor said it would make no difference because my Aunt has already signed permission for her euthania. The euthanizing Doctor said she is going to put a rush on the Euthania. To my even more shock the Doctor gave My Aunt the lethal injection today. It all took less than three days from start to finish. The Doctor did the three Doctor visits to my Aunt in three consecutive days. I am so upset.
This was so wrong … name withheld. This letter indicates that the euthanasia doctor was not concerned that the woman may only have a bladder infection and the legally suggested 10 day waiting period was simply ignored so that the lethal injection occurred within 3 days before the woman could change her mind.
Sadly this letter proves that EPC’s assessment of euthanasia Bill C-14 was correct.
Keep up with the latest pro-life news and information on Twitter.
Bill C-14 required a 10 day waiting period unless the doctor waived the waiting period, meaning it was a false safeguard.
Bill C-14 required the person’s natural death to be reasonably forseeable, but at the same time the bill stated that the doctor or nurse practitioner who does the lethal injection must only be “of the opinion” that the person fit the criteria of the law. In other words, the law provided legal cover when a physician or nurse practitioner mistakenly kills someone.
The Aunt is dead and now it is too late to suggest that after 10 days her bladder infection may have cleared up and her request for lethal injection may have passed.

Is Planned Parenthood Hiring Protesters for Violent Anti-Trump Rallies?
For days, streets of major cities across the U.S. have been flooded with protesters marching against the election of Republican Donald Trump. Police have arrested hundreds of protesters for violence after they blocked streets, assaulted police officers, burned and vandalized property, and more.
But new evidence suggests that the abortion giant Planned Parenthood and other liberal groups could be paying protesters to march against President-elect Trump.Fox News reports:
The Craigslist ads read: “STOP TRUMP – up to $1500/week. Hiring immediately! Call Today Start tomorrow! $15-$18 hourly rate + bonus + overtime up to 77 hours per week!”The news outlet reported neither Planned Parenthood nor Community Outreach Group returned its phone calls seeking comment.
They were placed by a Planned Parenthood affiliate in major cities like Boston, Denver, Columbus, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh right before the election to defeat the candidacy of Donald Trump. However, most of them are still active on Craigslist, fueling questions about whether the group is now among those feeding the post-election anti-Trump protests across the country.
Many of the ads have Planned Parenthood Action, a PAC, emblazoned across the top and all of them list phone numbers belonging to the Community Outreach Group, a for-profit organization formed by Planned Parenthood as “a vendor of large-scale advocacy.” Protesting is among the tasks listed on its website.

If true, this would not be the first time the abortion chain has paid protesters. In September 2015, protesters paid by Planned Parenthood threw condoms at former pro-life presidential candidate Carly Fiorina and her campaign supporters. The abortion group routinely hires people to campaign and protest during elections and other abortion-related political events.
Abortion activists often have to pay people to help promote their extreme abortion position because they cannot find enough willing volunteers. In March, LifeNews reported how abortion activists paid protesters to show up at the U.S. Supreme Court building as the justices heard arguments involving a Texas abortion case.
Abortion activists also appear to have paid protesters to fight against a Texas abortion law while it was being debated in the state legislature in 2013.
The liberal advocacy group MoveOn.org, which is backed by billionaire George Soros, who also supports Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups, also may be hiring protesters for the anti-Trump rallies. According to Fox, a New York ad offers to pay $18 an hour to protesters “under the age of 30 … We prefer minorities.”
The news comes on the heels of reports that more than half of the anti-Trump protesters who were arrested in Portland, Oregon did not even vote in the Nov. 8 election. KGW reports it could not find ballots or voter registration for 69 of the 112 people arrested during the Portland protests.
House Republican Leader: We Will “Move Forward” With Legislation to Defund Planned Parenthood
When Congress gets back to work today, their schedule is more stuffed than a Thanksgiving turkey. After six weeks on the campaign trail, the House and Senate left plenty to do in the holiday frenzy — including keeping the government funded past December 9, when the latest spending resolution runs out.
For a jubilant GOP, the strategy for passing a new spending bill has almost certainly changed since last Tuesday. With President-elect Donald Trump set to usher in the first GOP Congress under a new administration since 1928, Republican leaders have the opportunity to start tackling a big portion of their wish list now. After six years of trying, that means finally dealing a knock-out punch to Obamacare and replacing it with something more affordable and effective. After more than 50 votes to repeal the health care failure, conservatives (and plenty of Democrats who sided with them) have the chance to scrap a law that’s stripped Americans of their jobs, options, policies, doctors, freedom, and hard-earned money.
And not a moment too soon.

With enrollment barely scratching the surface of solvency and major insurance companies looking for the escape hatch, the country literally can’t afford another year of the president’s namesake.
To the delight of pro-lifers, Obamacare isn’t the only thing on the chopping block. The president-elect also has a chance to follow through with his promise to defund Planned Parenthood — something Congress managed to do last year, only to watch Obama veto the bill and continue taxpayers’ forced partnership with the abortion business.
On “Fox News Sunday,” House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) hinted that the GOP might dust off that strategy in the next few months and give the budget reconciliation another try.
“Look, we put a lot of thought into this, and we’ve worked hard to repeal it in the past. We know there’s also reconciliation, as you know, Chris, that’s maybe a little inside Washington, allows with 51 votes to be able to do something in the Senate. In the House we could move forward.”
Although it’s sporadically used, reconciliation allows the majority party to fast-track a funding bill through Congress — clearing the path of Senate filibusters and the 60-vote threshold usually required by the upper chamber. Last time, the House and Senate used the approach to topple the president’s twin mistakes: Obamacare and Planned Parenthood funding.
And although reconciliation can’t be used to repeal all of Obamacare or completely sever ties with Cecile Richards’s group, it’ll go a long way to accomplishing both.
In a letter to congressional leadership, FRC calls on the House and Senate to make this a priority under the new administration.
“With a pro-life president and pro-life majorities in the House and Senate in 2017, Congress should again pass these provisions in a new budget reconciliation bill and send it to President-elect Donald Trump for signature in law… The pro-life community stands united in its desire to see legislation signed into law to stop funding for abortion providers and to remove Obamacare provisions which subsidize plans with elective abortion coverage… [Instead, we should reallocate] their funding to community health centers that provide comprehensive health care for women.”In the meantime, your job didn’t end when the election did!
