March 15, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Pre-born babies don’t scream as they’re aborted, because “I transect the cord 1st so there’s really no opportunity,” according to a prominent abortionist.

Leah Torres, an abortionist with a big Twitter presence, tweeted that if the babies she kills are developed enough to have larynxes, she snips “the cord” so they don’t scream. Torres then deleted the tweet.

An artificial method for the regulation of births could be recognized as an act of "responsibility” when natural methods are impossible or unfeasible, said Milan moral theologian, Father Maurizio Chiodi, a member of the Pontifical Academy for Life.
Chiodi made his remarks during a talk on December 14 at the Gregorian University in Rome, writes Lifesitenews (January 8).
He claimed that most "believing married couples" use contraceptives and "many pastors” prefer not to mention Catholic morals.
According to Catholic teaching contraception is an intrinsic evil act and can never be used without committing a grave sin and therefore risking eternal damnation.

Planned Parenthood of the Heartland has announced that its proposed “My Body, My Choice” license plates are now available for purchase by Nebraska residents after it submitted more than the 250 applications required by the state to request the production of certain specialty plates. The plates, which include the Planned Parenthood logo, are posted on the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles website among other specialty plates and cost $70.

Governments and schools should be teaching kids to have fewer children in order to reduce climate change. That’s according to a study published in Environmental Research Letters, in which University of British Columbia grad student Seth Wynes and Sweden’s Lund University professor Kimberley Nicholas calculate how individual actions cut greenhouse gas emissions.
They claim having one fewer child is a “high impact action” far eclipsing any other in effectiveness.

A "Catholic" religious order that cares for about 5,000 psychiatric patients in Belgium will allow euthanasia in its hospitals.

The Brothers of Charity posted a statement on their website about how they "take seriously unbearable and hopeless suffering and patients’ request for euthanasia."
"On the other hand, we do want to protect lives and ensure that euthanasia is performed only if there is no more possibility to provide a reasonable perspective to treat the patient," it said.
The head of the Brothers of Charity, Brother Rene Stockman, said he strongly opposes this and is appealing to the Vatican and Belgian Catholic bishops for help.

A new Center for Medical Progress (CMP) video shows a Planned Parenthood senior executive haggling over pricing for aborted babies' body parts, which she says she's "committed" to selling.

The video is of a conversation CMP investigators had with Dr. Mary Gatter at a Planned Parenthood conference evening reception. Gatter, who in another CMP video, joked, "I want a Lamborghini" when negotiating prices of baby parts, explains that she's "committed" to selling the bodies of aborted babies and "I think it’s a great idea."

Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch defended his opposition to assisted suicide yesterday during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings.

Gorsuch has written a book specifically opposing assisted suicide saying that the intentional taking of human life is always wrong. Gorsuch wrote: “All human beings are intrinsically valuable and the intentional taking of human life by private persons is always wrong.”
