Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards confirmed in a video announcement this morning that she is resigning as president from America's largest abortion chain this year.
“Today I am announcing I will be stepping down from my position as president of Planned Parenthood this year,” said a smiling Richards in the video.

Planned Parenthood of the Heartland has announced that its proposed “My Body, My Choice” license plates are now available for purchase by Nebraska residents after it submitted more than the 250 applications required by the state to request the production of certain specialty plates. The plates, which include the Planned Parenthood logo, are posted on the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles website among other specialty plates and cost $70.

One would think that actual parenthood would be part of Planned Parenthood’s mission. The abortion organization never mentions “mom,” “dad,” “father,” or “parent” ever in its latest Annual Report. They do mention “mother” one time, in a bizarre quote that sums up the political group’s warped perspective on motherhood: “I was resolved to seek out the root of evil, to do something to change the destiny of mothers, whose miseries were as vast as the sky.” These words are from Planned Parenthood’s eugenicist founder, Margaret Sanger, who considered motherhood to be bondage. Her book, Motherhood in Bondage, pretty much summed up her broken view of what makes all of us possible.

A new Center for Medical Progress (CMP) video shows a Planned Parenthood senior executive haggling over pricing for aborted babies' body parts, which she says she's "committed" to selling.

The video is of a conversation CMP investigators had with Dr. Mary Gatter at a Planned Parenthood conference evening reception. Gatter, who in another CMP video, joked, "I want a Lamborghini" when negotiating prices of baby parts, explains that she's "committed" to selling the bodies of aborted babies and "I think it’s a great idea."

North Carolina lawmakers are attempting to nullify the Supreme Court's Obergefell decision on same-sex "marriage."

Four statehouse legislators have proposed House Bill 780, the Uphold Historical Marriage Act, that would restore the state's constitutional ban on homosexual "marriage" and make gay “marriages” illegal.
HB-780 explicitly says the U.S. Supreme Court "overstepped its constitutional bounds" in the Obergefell decision and the High Court's ruling is “null and void in the State of North Carolina.”
The bill states that “the State of North Carolina shall henceforth uphold and enforce Section 6 of Article XIV of the North Carolina Constitution." That section was amended in 2012 to explicitly say "Marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State."

Journalist David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt face a felony count for each of the 14 people they secretly recorded and an additional felony charge for criminal conspiracy.
The charges come eight months after similar charges were dropped in Texas, but a California attorney general told The Washington Post that the pair violated privacy laws.
