WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

My Ways Are Not Your Ways....

My Ways Are Not Your Ways
By: Eric Gajewski
Isaias (Isaiah) 55:9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts: nor your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

Imagine a world in which we could all have “our way”.  Pause to think about how God has given us free will but in order for us to achieve true liberty our wills must be united to His.  To be a slave to self is tyrannical and sadly this has become modern man’s mantra.  Conversely, imagine a world in which God did not allow free will.  How could we ever truly prove we loved God?  Yes, there must be a Source to our origins and likewise an “End” to where our souls were created for.  The only thing that can truly prevent us from freely swimming in God’s grace is sin. The only way we can leave this spring of Life is when we choose deliberately and knowingly choose self (once in a state of grace).

God shouts out to modern man loudly with all the signs being given now.   But who is listening?  The man of self has his gidgets and gadgets to occupy his time.  The women now spend more time in the gym then in prayer.  Who needs God or worse yet who thinks they can have self and God rule their hearts!  God has a plan for your individual life but he also has a plan for His Church.  He has a plan to get us out of this Church crisis and yet none of us can specifically say how all the cards will fall and why?  Because His ways are not ours and His thoughts are far above our own.  It is true He has given us the overall blueprint in the “resurrection” of the Faith back into the masses but we all must be and live humbly and do our best to contribute to this plan as best we can.

Thank goodness His thoughts are not ours.  So many temptations daily for us all.  The closer we stay to His Mother, the true PreVatican II Catholic Faith, the Sacraments, etc the closer we can keep our hearts united to His.  You say you want to change but what are you doing about it?  It is one thing to plan but it is another thing to implement that plan.  You say you will read the Divine Office regularly but do you?  You say I will pray an extra Rosary a day but do you?  You say I will be more consistent with my works of mercy but then pass by the littlest of all opportunities.  Yes, we are human but let us not use this as an excuse to persist onward in our neglect.

Some people sadly measure "happiness" in by getting what they "want" and yet when they get what they want....they only find out it is not what they truly needed....

Can you imagine if we got “our way” all the time?  Whoa!  I can only imagine if God allowed me to marry several of the girls I dated in the times before my conversion.  I can only imagine if God would have allowed me to stay in that “circle of friends” I thought was so cool.  We could go on all day playing Monday morning quarterback looking back on all of our disaster choices that we thought were so good.  So what is the point in all this?  The point is we truly know nothing and must humble ourselves to discover Gods Will generally for our lives but also with each day that is granted.  I encourage you all (if you haven’t already) to take 5-10 minutes before you get the day started to pray and give thanks.  Pay attention to those signs in your lives which you are NOT noticing because you have a preconceived notion of how you think God will answer. Ah, yes we have all done that!  Remember, in the end, that His Way is not our way and truly if it were up to us we would all run ourselves into hell due to sin and this is why we must daily be attentive to His Voice and follow the Shepherd. Everything is done for the salvation of your soul and not for the benefit of keeping your “self” satisfied…..

Dont be that guy that cries because God "didn't hear" your prayer for retirement before the age of 50....
OR that your team lost this week in football.  O' WOE is me!! Time to get your priorities in order Catholic
