Staying Positive (Secular Argument)
Vs. Having Faith
By: Eric Gajewski
Tony Robbins or Blessed Virgin Mary?
Over the course of the last 6 months (during my last round of evangelizing to those outside the Faith) I have run into a large number of Nonbelievers who recognize these chastisements are coming. That is the good news and now for the bad. They concede that it is going to get very dark so to speak, however, their answer, in return, is what is very troubling. I will make it through the Great Storm coming by “staying positive” they argue. As if by listening to latest sales pitch of Tony Robbins is going to help these souls. Or by getting into some occultic yoga pose is going to transfer enough “good vibes” to keep them from succumbing into fear, doubt or worry. This is beyond wishful thinking to say the least. Now, it is true, one can argue loosely, that after one has Faith, they now “stay positive” but that is not the context of showing this contrast from the two different points of view presented within. This is what separates us believers from nonbelievers (question of Faith). The question, thus, must be asked, can staying positive help you survive the Storm coming? Or is Faith necessary to make it through the Dark Night approaching? Let us examine.
Fiat! The Blessed Virgin Mary is Our
Model of Faith. Thus, we can say, She is
a Great eagle, who shows us how to keep our wings spread in Faith and Hope. Let it be done yet the one who seeks to
remain positive is not guaranteed to have given over their self-will. A general positivity or outlook is not enough
for the sufferings and sorrows coming.
Our Lady didn’t stay positive when the Angel approached her with Heaven’s
message. She conceded to Gods Will
because She had Faith. Now, ironically, she
has come to the world, warning over and over again of the necessity to return
to a simple Christian living which first has a prerequisite of the proper norm
of Faith. Heretics, too, will not be
able to process nor survive the stresses coming because God’s grace is void in
them. Thus, we have Faith in God by
having Faith in the words of Our Lady at Fatima. These two are inseparable. Even as the Church would teach infallibly
Faith and Christ and Faith in the Church(true Faith) are inseparable the same applies
to Our Lady’s words in Fatima because they are connected to the Word
(Apocalypse)
Secondly, can staying positive embrace the Strong Winds so as to keep me flying during this Storm? No but why? Staying positive keeps one grounded on the natural level. There is not rue Divine support by staying positive. When a eagle sees the Storm approach he spreads his wings in Faith and Hope. He has the Catholic Faith written uponst his heart of which Mary is the Keeper. A fox or rabbit playing pretend will go to the edge of cliff and will jump and will sadly die by crashing to the pavement below. Without perfect Love a man will be overrun with fear worry and doubt. Thus without true Faith FIRST we cannot have this Selfless Love (Charity) to begin with which conquers fear. Do those in the Novus Ordo (objectively speaking) following the New Religion have the proper norm of Faith? No they do not and sadly they follow heretical leaders leading them right into the mouth of the False Prophet. This new tower of babel (of man) will crash because it too is of natural origins.

Third, “I will stay positive” VS.
God has a Plan. Have those who are in
the “staying positive” crowd handed over their wills to the TRUE GOD? The answer is no they have not because they
have handed themselves over to false gods (whatever false religion, if any,
they profess). A few relaxation
techniques are not going to save you from all the horrors that are soon to
transpire. I say, horrors, only from the
context of those who have no Faith nor believe in the true Religion. For us, eagles, we are excited, for the Storm
to arrive so we can demonstrate unto God and the world our Faith. There must be an object unto which man places
His Faith and Hope in and yet those in the “staying positive” crowd often rely
upon themselves in the end to make it through.
Man cannot save man only the true God via having Faith can save
man. Those, cutoff from God’s grace,
cannot see His Divine Hand in what He is trying to accomplish. God will, seemingly, at the very last second,
laugh at the devil and His minions and show the world just how powerful He
is. It is Love’s ultimate witness.
Faith grows by way of grace. First, what is Faith? Objectively, it stands for the sum of truths revealed by God in Scripture and tradition and which the Church (see RULE OF FAITH) presents to us in a brief form in her creeds, subjectively, faith stands for the habit or virtue by which we assent to those truths. Both aspects need to be considered in order to understand why it will be necessary to have Faith in order to get through the Great Storm. Concede not unto Catholic Faith? Then you have not Faith altogether, thus, this eliminates the heretics. Second without having the first the second is not possible for it is by first pleasing God objectively that we can even obtain grace. “Staying positive” is spiritual suicide for today, any day and especially the days coming ahead of us. For human nature needs the grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Closer
look at self-will. Where fear is OFTEN
there is first self-love. Even the Christian
(through these trials and tribulations to come) will grow in grace and thus grow
in the virtues including Faith. This is
why God allows the trial. How else do
you suppose you can grow if you are not first tested? You say you have Faith now but what about
when all your friends leave? What about
when the house is taken away and the government comes for your children and
money? Will you “stay positive” then or
concede to God’s greater plan for your salvation? Only the Wings of an Eagle (Faith and Hope)
has the capacity to SUSTAIN and ELEVATE you THROUGH and ABOVE the STORM! You will see very clearly, from the inside
out, that it is good which sustains you and not your “positivity”.
You want to keep the devils away... you say?
