Swiss Bishops: Opening Of Mosque Is "Day Of Joy"

The news website of the Swiss Bishops "kath.ch" calls the opening of a mosque in Wil, Switzerland, a "day of joy". In a featured contribution, Bettina Flick, a pastoral assistant in Saint Gall Diocese even praises the area of the mosque, which separates women and children from men, adding: "There, children will be introduced into their faith, and hopefully they will find support in Islam and be strengthened with an open and tolerant attitude." Ironically, in Wil there is also a big church and school of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X which is regularly vilified by kath.ch.
