America’s Elections, Cheap “Police State Theatre”
Gordon Duff
Gordon drills down to the political bedrock on Trumpmania in his new NEO piece below, and takes no prisoners. We have been suspicious of Trump since the beginning, because we read him as a “constructed” candidate from the word go.
By that I mean he
appeared to be a numero uno backed independent, when he was really a
good pick for having an quietly backed ringer in such a poor field of
Republican candidates, universally thought of as a wasteland of has
beens and wannabes. It did not take a genius to sense a public mood of,
“Any one but those we’ve already had”.
Trump also had an
almost invisible staff, very little money coming in from declared
contributors, and with his using the famous Trump mouth to get free
press coverage, he was winning primary votes at the same spending cost
of Sanders. That was another sign that he was not going to whiz away a
ton of his own cash for a long shot gamble.
Clue
number one came when some of his staff and advisers had to be made
public and there were the NeoCon folks hedging their bet with “The
Donald”, their not so dark horse independent Republican. Even the free
publicity being generated over having the nomination stolen from him at
the convention could be more manufactured drama, as we approach the
cliffhanger showdown of Trump against the party establishment.
We are in the middle of
an American version of a political Roman circus, and if nothing else,
it will be entertaining, like the rape charge put out against Trump that
someone decided to play now. We had been expecting that. But Trump
having to rape a babe would be like John D. Rockefeller having to borrow
a quarter to take the bus. Ahhhh…I don’t think so… Jim W. Dean ]

America today is a police state. Few doubt that, yet most
assume that elections are honest and purposeful. That belief is not
supportable by fact, nor is it a reasonable belief based on the
realities of militarized police, evaporated voting rights, open
corporate bribery and total surveillance. It is probable that this election is a farce, a staged theatrical comedy, put on by the ruling powers who control the dozens of intelligence agencies, the bought and paid for Congress, the extremist courts and the militarized police army that occupies America. Let’s take a look at our sad state of affairs.
What if Donald Trump were being run for president, a man with no hope of winning, because of Bernie Sanders, a real reformer who would dismember the police state bureaucracy that now rules America?
What if Trump, hopelessly behind in the real polls, unelectable and hated in the “real world,” has bled off disaffected voters who would have put Sanders ahead of Clinton?
This is what Trump has done.
Whether he knew it or not, and Trump is not the most “aware” person
lapping at the trough, it is quite possible that organized crime, not
just possible but very probable, has pushed this ego driven nut case
into a failed run for the presidency to guarantee Hillary Clinton in the
White House.
If you read some of the press, Americans are lining up behind Donald
Trump and his promise to build a 100-foot wall around America, bomb Iran
and cut wages to the bone. Truthfully some are, but also “truthfully”
he is 20 points or more behind both Clinton and Sanders and is only
winning the Republican nomination for one reason. He is running against Ted Cruz, the foreign-born extremist that former House Speaker Boehner says is the embodiment of Lucifer himself.
This week, American presidential hopeful Donald Trump spoke to the world on his new foreign policy beliefs. His hand-picked advisory group, invariably pro-Israeli fanatics, coin the phrase “America first”, mindful of the pro-Nazi movement led by Charles Lindbergh prior to America’s entry in World War II. They obviously never went to school, or if they did, they didn’t study too hard.
Trump vowed to destroy ISIS, but he also vowed to destroy Iran as well, in order to prevent it from getting nuclear weapons. Of course, there is no evidence Iran had a nuclear program — a fact long backed up by both the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) and CIA intelligence assessments.
Trump, or his new handlers, simply made it all up. Where the judgment becomes dangerous, however, is in the failure by Trump to note recent claims by Iran that they prevented the fall of both Baghdad and Damascus to ISIS, claims that can be verified.
Trump’s belief he can destroy
Iran and then go on to take on ISIS around the world, re-occupying Iraq
and, of course, ending up uniting both ISIS and the current Shiite
government of Iraq along with Iran, Syria, Russia and China against the
United States in a shooting war Europe is quite ready to watch from the
sidelines.
Trump’s policies, as pointed out by almost every analyst despite
political leaning, would lead to another disastrous decade of grinding
insurgency and disastrous occupation.Real experts universally agree that, far from “making America great again,” the bizarre mishmash of isolationism and interventionism, all predicated on sound bites and hokum, would finish what began after the ill-fated 2000 election.
We would see the continued decline of the United States into third world “tin pot dictatorship” status. America would finally become the banana republic so many have predicted. But we are getting ahead of ourselves, just like Trump.
What is dangerous isn’t so much the things Trump says, which change from day to day, or that European leaders and American allies, not always the same folks, find his inconsistencies and clowning alarming. After all, George W. Bush was far worse, served two terms although quite probably never legally elected, and the world survived, or at least eventually it did.
Here, eight years later, the American stock markets sit near an all-time high, employment is at record levels, teen pregnancy has plummeted, crime is down and the economic bleeding brought about by the 2007-8 worldwide economic implosion remains a distant nightmare, as most American middle class families will never recover from Bush policies.
What also remains is the massive
police state bureaucracy that Obama has left intact, something he may
well have to answer for at some date in the future. Things have gotten
“too good”, and Americans are ready for another “pump and dump,” perhaps
to be brought on as an aftermath reaction to a strong dose of false
flag terrorism. We’ve all been to that dance before, haven’t we?
Let’s look at reality, not “internet reality” but how things are.
Most Americans or almost “most,” with current figures at 46%, not only
hate Donald Trump, they fear him. Trump has attracted the white
disaffected but also “attention deficit” electorate, a combination of
mentally unstable, which in America you would think would be more
people, uneducated and the lazy.Trump’s domestic policies are insane. He is George W. Bush…all deregulation, filled with love and trust in the righteousness of the wealthy and powerful. He is willing to clutch onto any conspiracy theory or rumor as long as it allows corporate freeloading, big polluters and pushes down wages and workers’ rights.
What Trump is the anti-thesis of is Bernie Sanders, they are absolute and total opposites. Sanders, hated by many “Trumpites” as a “socialist Jew,” almost as bad as being a “Negro,” is the real deal.
Sanders is the only candidate to address reform, killing off the police state, ending organized crime’s stranglehold on Congress and eliminating “Citizens United.” Everything is about Citizens United. Suffice to say money runs everything in the US — everyone is for sale.
According to historian Charles Beard, in his Economic Interpretation of the Constitution, Columbia University Press, 1935, the framers of the constitution, men who were not the founding fathers but rather “counter-revolutionaries” answerable to London bankers, American government was put on the auction block long ago.
When in 2005, the Supreme Court in Citizens United v. the Federal Elections Commission voted in a landmark 5/4 decision to allow full and unfettered bribery by any “corporate” source, no matter the origin of funds, even from narcotics and human trafficking, the Constitution of the United States of America failed, as predicted by Beard.
Sanders and Clinton are sworn to overthrow “Citizens United,” which Trump and Cruz, perhaps because of organized crime ties, support. Were one to assume that Las Vegas gambling boss Sheldon Adelson, is “organized crime,” Adelson being the primary financier of the Republican Party, then the current election might well come into focus.
Even if you choose to ignore “gerrymandering” and attacks on voting rights, software-driven “vote flipping” has been proven over and over as the major force in American politics — proven but never reported, proven but unpunished, as is so often the case in police states.
What we do know is this, Sanders would have ended the $3 billion a year America gives to Israel. Let’s be honest, not to Israel but to Jews in Israel, not to fund a nation, but to perpetuate a military dictatorship that has disenfranchised and imprisoned its Palestinian majority despite 150 attempts by the UN Security Council to redress what every international legal expert agrees is a nearly 70-year history of war crimes.
Even clearer still is the violent opposition Israel has expressed against the election of both Sanders and even Hillary Clinton, though Sanders and Clinton enjoy almost universal support from America’s Jewish community. Explain that?
What it seems is that we have an
election based not on political parties or political theory, but on
“chaos theory” and the desire by an unseen but powerful group to
orchestrate events. If Trump is being run to elect Clinton over Sanders,
why? Who benefits?
In 2000, whatever theory about the events of 9/11 one were to ascribe
to, the end result has been to create a total surveillance state out of
America, where fear and hatred of government abuse is rampant and
growing.Gordon Duff is a Marine combat veteran of the Vietnam War that has worked on veterans and POW issues for decades and consulted with governments challenged by security issues. He’s a senior editor and chairman of the board of Veterans Today, especially for the online magazine “New Eastern Outlook.”

Forget the Election, Save Yourself While You Still Can
Dave Hodges
Our political parties are hopelessly corrupt. The politicians have been bought off by the corporations, we have nowhere to turn. You better learn to take care of yourself then you can focus on the election, etc. But for now, you better get food, water, guns, medicine etc. With the meetings going on with the bankers and government, you are almost out of time. At the end of all this will be FEMA camps that will be disguised as debtor prisons. The sheep of this country are attempting to get along by going along. However, despite our national capitulation to the New World Order, we are not adapting well as a people. Americans have miserably failed to adjust to our changing status and are paying a steep emotional price for our slide into tyranny while on our way to becoming a third world country. A good day for most Americans is a day where we avoid a catastrophe instead of celebrating our accomplishments. Americans are increasingly a miserable people. We are most certainly the most stressed out people on the planet. Perhaps the biggest slap in the face comes from the fact that the media controllers of today’s society are teaching us to love our servitude instead of inspiring us to reach for the stars. However, this acceptance is not sitting well with America and it is showing up in our collective health. Did you know that despite paying the most for healthcare, our lifespan is only 51st in the world? Even some third world countries live longer than we do, according to the CIA fact book of 2012. The biggest reason for the decline in our national health, relative to other countries, is the high amount of stress that we are experiencing as a people. Much of the stress we are experiencing comes from trying to find a level of homeostasis in the midst of experiencing personal, emotional and spiritual subjugation. The rubber band can only be stretched so far till it breaks.
Man Was Born to Be Free
There is an emotional and mental health price to pay when a person forsakes individual control over their life, for it is in our DNA to be free. When people are not free, they suffer emotionally, psychologically, spirituality and physically. In America, we have lost our freedom. As a result, psychosomatic illnesses are at an all-time high. The research of health psychologists has revealed that it is psychological factors which constitutes the number one contributor to nearly all forms of illness from cancer to heart disease. Just the nature of the word, disease, or dis ease, speaks to this undeniable fact. In a ground breaking study in the 1970’s, Steven Bramwell demonstrated that this principle even applied to college football players as he demonstrated that the members with Stanford football team who experienced the most stress, sustained the most injuries related to their sport. That same year, Japanese cardiologists demonstrated the same relationship with heart disease and stress and hence, the term psychosomatic illness came into vogue in the field of health psychology.Conspiracy of Silence
You don’t hear a lot about the mental/emotional aspects of disease because there is no money in it for Big Pharma and Big Pharma writes the medical school curriculums. Whether, or not, the pill companies want the tried and true principles of health and well-being taught to medical school students as a prelude to intervention, it is irrelevant. The fact remains that America is a sick nation and we are a sick nation because all forms of our personal growth are stunted because we allow our lives to become distracted from the purpose of why we are here. Henry David Thoreau was correct when he said that “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them“.According to a presentation offered at the IFPE Congress in Vienna, Austria on April 18, 2009, on the results of World Health Organization’s World Mental Health Survey, 19% of studied Americans experienced a clinical anxiety disorder in the previous twelve-month period, which pushes the United States into a ranking of first place in this category. What do Americans have to be so anxious about? At least part of the answer which explains why Americans have such a high degree of clinical anxiety, is contained in the following paragraphs as it is undeniably stressful living in America under the present set of conditions. We Americans are a miserable people who are dumbed down, drugged out, persecuted, fluoridated, chemtrailed, poisoned by consuming the GMO food supply, breathing radiated air thanks to Fukushima and are propagandized by a corporate controlled media who constantly reminds us about how happy we should be because we live in the land of freedom and opportunity and our imaginary enemies hate us because of our freedoms when the truth is actually the opposite. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit Democracy Index 2011, the United States is tied with Romania for forty-ninth in civil liberties. Several countries such as Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Norway are tied for first. So much for our freedoms. When most people have a gun pointed at their head, they should know that they could soon die. And when the government passed the NDAA, they are telling you what they plan to do with you if you get out of line, which is to snatch you off the street without due process and “disappear” you forever. Yet, we do not fight back.
Living the American Lie
The truth of the American experience is really quite the opposite of what the mainstream media tells us. We live in a hellish 1984 nightmare where our every move is tracked by the NSA. Every word we speak is under scrutiny. We have no privacy and it has become very clear that the government is no longer of the people, by the people and for the people. The people are no longer the sovereign, the bankers who have hijacked our government are the sovereign and are in near total control of our government. As a result, we are a besieged people. In short, we are an occupied nation which is producing a high degree of misery. Even for the sheep, these undeniable facts are showing up in our collective stress levels. Most Americans Are a Helpless Group
If a population is exposed to Ebola, 90% will die agonizing deaths. However, 10% will survive and this 10% figure is true for most pandemics. I think the 10% figure is true for resistance to tyranny as well. There are those of us who are seemingly immune to the societal brainwashing and are clearly able to rise up and oppose tyranny. However, I have concluded that most Americans are not able to mount any form of psychological resistance to what is going on, much less any physical resistance. Most Americans suffer from learned helplessness.Learned Helplessness
When I first began writing, I operated under the myth that if we could reach enough people, that our numbers of resistance would reach a tipping point and we would simply overwhelm the forces of the New World Order. I was not ignorant or naive, there simply isn’t a body of research which addresses this phenomenon. When people were not responsive to seeing through the lies and deception of the NWO, I attributed their blindness to cognitive dissonance in that they were not quite ready to make a mental paradigm shift, but eventually would if armed with enough facts. I no longer believe this is true because most Americans suffer from a psychological condition called learned helplessness. The term “learned helplessness” was coined by psychologist Martin Seligman. In 1967, Martin Seligman’s seminal research was published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology entitled, Failure to Escape Traumatic Shock. Seligman’s experiment led to the term often used today to describe why poor people do not take obvious steps to climb out of their poverty-stricken circumstances. In Seligman’s dog study, he used dogs that were shocked and at first, demonstrated the ability to escape. In the second phase of the experiment, when a barrier was erected, repeated shocks to the dogs led to them passively accepting the shocks when their efforts made no difference with regard to their circumstances. In the third phase, when the barriers were removed, one would expect the dogs to return to escaping the shocks. Stunningly, even when the animal could see a clear path to escape, they continued to passively accept the shocks, hence the development of the “learned helplessness”. The dogs had been conditioned that their actions made no difference in the outcome, hence the term, learned helplessness. This principle is applicable to humans as well for when people lose hope, they passively accept their fate even when there are clear and identifiable options. I have concluded that most of these people cannot be saved because they are so unresponsive to the dangerous intrusions into their lives and they are programmed to label our warnings as conspiracy theories as they perform their Stepford Wives imitation on the way to their final demise.Options?
Maybe a collective effort could save this country, but I seriously doubt it. The trump movement is a good first start. But ultimately, we will collectively save ourselves or we will die.As a whole, I have concluded that America is a defeated nation. I firmly believe that if we gave Americans a choice to fight for their freedom against a combined Chinese and Russian occupation force or to acquiesce, most Americans would say, “It would not be that bad to live under the Chinese and Russians”. Subsequently, I have altered my focus in my writing. I have decided to perform triage in my approach. In battlefield triage, there are always three groups (1) Those that cannot be saved no matter what you do; (2) Those that have some chance to be saved; and, (3) those that have a good chance of being saved with the right kind of attention. I am now writing for people who are in the second or third category. I would suggest to my colleagues to do the same thing. Our time is short and we cannot waste time trying to educate and warn those who are so blind that they cannot see.
