The Saints Still With Us…
By: Eric Gajewski
The most heartbreaking response in
this Vatican II crisis has been that we have been abandoned by God. Yet, is this truly the case? Although we have been occupied by “aliens of
the Faith” this does not mean we have lost nor does it mean that the “gates of
hell have prevailed”. God by His holy design truly has a Plan in this
“mess”. What He sees we cannot see. He knows our hearts and how we want to get to
proper Sacraments. Yet this is not readily given to us by the Church due to the
large part of the lawful authorities having gone with the Vatican II
Revolution. Where heresy is Catholics
cannot be lest we displease Jesus, therefore, we incur no sin by not being able
to get to a proper Mass on Sundays.
Brethren, we are not abandoned by God and perhaps you are looking at the
situation wrong. Perhaps, we all should,
due to this trial, abandoned ourselves more readily into the Sacred Heart thru
the Immaculate Heart? Abandon your own
Will and You will find and have God. Need I remind you God
is not bound by His own Sacraments that He created. We still receive grace from the Church
Herself and through the Blessed Virgin Mary.
So do not fall into the devils den of doubt, denial and despair and be
encouraged.
Litany of the Saints
Is the wife abandoned by the Husband
when he leaves for a long business trip?
Although it is painful to see him go the wife’s heart is adjoined to her
husbands wherever he goes. So, how is
it any different with the Beloved of Souls?
Because he “hides” himself in Selfless Love game does not mean He
has abandon us. No, in reality, He is
only trying to strengthen us and help us to grow in Selfless Love! Have you ever seen the reaction of a military wife who
has not seen her husband for a year or so? Yea, just like this wife, we too,
are not abandoned. Thus, like a good
housewife, we must keep busy around the house until that day that Our Beloved
reveals Himself yet again.
Persevere, you are being tried. What relationship is not tried by Fire. This holds true for the Church and Christ but
also holds true between our own souls and Christ. Trial is necessary in the life of the
Christian. Our life here on earth is not
a 60-70 year honeymoon. That is what
what heaven will be like but only eternal.
Work out your salvation now by recognizing these crosses that God gives
you. Remember this, the more God “takes”
from you the more God trusts you. Yet, modern man will think the more God takes the more God does not love me! It
means He knows you are serious about Him and Him alone and how can that be a
bad thing? Wisdom Sayest, “Do not let a
little heat in the kitchen keep you from preparing the meal for the
Beloved!” These are the times to prove
your love and faith to God not whine and complain. We must keep this crisis in proper perspective. “The Church” has not abandoned us we have
simply been asked to deal with wayward Popes, prelates and priests. Maybe, you, through your good example, can
help with their conversion. There is no
such thing as problems going forward.
You must seen things as opportunities for if we profess Christ and have
Christ then we have it all already! What
more do we need?
Furthermore, remember in the dark,
Our Lady and the Saints are still with us.
When the sun goes down we have the hope of our Lady, the Full Moon and
the stars, the Saints surrounding her above to help guide us. St. Anthony of Padua, “And as the moon at
its full she shines. The blessed Mary is said to be the full moon, because in
every way perfect. The moon is imperfect when a half-moon, because it is
stained or horned. But the glorious Virgin neither in Her birth had any stain,
because sanctified in Her mother's womb, guarded by angels, nor in Her days had
She the horns of pride. Hence, She shone fully and perfectly. She is said to be
light because She dispels the darkness.”
Did not our forefathers use the Moon
and the stars to navigate their way here in this earthly life? Do you still feel abandoned now? The Blessed Virgin Mary is preparing the way
for your own heart in the trials to come.
She is preparing her sons and daughters now to meet Her Son in heaven. She is preparing the way for Her Triumph now in the world
and just because we do not see these things with our carnal eyes does not mean
we are abandoned.
In closing, do not forget how
powerful the intercession of the Saints are as I can attest too. They, too, provide us, not only an example
but they too shine from above as stars in the night helping to show us the way
to take. The problem I find is that too
many are too busy. They do not slow down
life long enough to attempt to see things from Gods perspective. Nor do they
remain in silence and solitude long enough to look with their inner eyes rather
than their carnal. Yea, do not forget
this it is true the Saints still stay with us.
Saints in the making must suffer much like that little star you see in
the sky whose light fades in and out.
We, too, like the Saints, must abandon all self-will and abandon
ourselves into the darkness of the night.
It is then here that we can stay in the sky unseen during the day hidden in His Love. It is here we can stay lost amongst the
Light of the sun in God and before men amongst the backdrop of the vibrant
noonday. Sure, you can argue that we have been abandoned by the current hierarchy but can you argue the God, the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Saints have abandoned us? Amen
