Be Watchful

Our Lord warned we do not know the
day nor hour but we shall know the season.
Therefore, be sober and do not slumber.
Keep watchful even into the second and third watch of the night for we
knowest not when the Bridegroom returns.
How many in these modern times put off salvation for the cares of this
world. How many deceive themselves by
thinking there will always be another day.
So many are drunk off the worlds distractions that they pay little care
to their eternal soul. So many still say
I can have the world and Christ and yet these Christ shall turn away. For few are His elect and wide is the road unto hell in
which men trodden down as zombies.
We must keep our eyes open as eagles
in Charity. We must try to see from
heavens perspective and not our own. Be
watchful He commands His own and yet how can men keep their eyes focused upon
Christ and the world at the same time? A
watchful pair of eyes will first have a heart wholly united to Christ which
does not care for the things of this world.
Furthermore, church men and laity did not keep watch over doctrine and thus we have
handed over our churches to the “aliens” of our times (the modernists). We fell asleep and seemingly enjoy this
sleep. Sadly it seems very few want to arise out of this slumber. So I ask, "Who will stand watch with Christ? Who will keep attentive in the Garden?"
Love watches and takes care for
wilst self sleeps. We are called to
watch over our hearts and souls. We are
to be ready every minute of the day to receive Christ. We thank Him this day
for all graces and pray that those still slumbering along now arise. Without question modern man is drunk off of the wine of his time. Thus modern man needs to be put into “spiritual
detox”. Thieves can only enter in if the
house is first not secured and watched after.
The man whose eyes are fixated upon this world leaves the front door
open! Make no mistake God will send His wrath and men wilst finally see the
darkness self permeates into the world.
Men will see what happens when truth is no longer accepted. God has long been patient and merciful with
sinners and now His Lips of Justice shalst soon kiss the world. Will ye be a true a disciple and stay awake
and pay heed to the signs? Or will you
succumb to the night’s dark which puts one’s heart and soul to sleep? Let us pray that we are all ready every
second of the day. Have your heart ready
by standing at the door of your heart awaiting the knock rather than be in the
living room watching the TV loudly so you cannot hear His call. Keep guard over your heart and keep at work,
amen
Keep thy Lamp burning in thy Hand
Awaiting His return
For we knowest not the hour according to His Plan
Whence He shall come to knock
Lest we miss this coming of the Son of man
Let your loins be girt, and lamps burning in your hands. [36] And
you yourselves like to men who wait for their lord, when he shall return from
the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open to him
immediately. [37]
Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when he cometh, shall find watching.
Amen I say to you, that he will gird himself, and make them sit down to meat,
and passing will minister unto them. [38] And if
he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them
so, blessed are those servants. [39] But
this know ye, that if the householder did know at what hour the thief would
come, he would surely watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken open. [40] Be you
then also ready: for at what hour you think not, the Son of man will come.
