How the Vice of the Jews Influences New Theology
I find one of the most interesting aspects of the teaching
of Prof. Plinio Correa de Oliveira to be his perception and
understanding of the
vocations of peoples.
It is not just individual men who have special vocations that, if
followed, will lead them to practice virtue and achieve salvation. It is
also the peoples and nations, each one considered as a whole, that
have specific vocations and are either faithful or unfaithful to the
plans God has for them.
It was this syncretism between pagan concepts and the true
Faith that marked the early heresies in the Church, many of them of
Jewish origin. The aim is always to relativize the teachings of the true
Faith , and thus change it. Today, of course, this is exactly what we
are seeing in the new theology that has come from Vatican II and has
been promoted by the Conciliar Church.
