(SSPX Resistance) Bishop Williamson to consecrate bishops!
*Please Note the website "Rorate Caeli" which originally broke this story is yet another pseudo-traditionalist website whose analysis you cannot follow as a Catholic. They are compromisers of the Catholic Faith and hold full communion with Modernist Rome....Any supposed excommunication resulting from this "possible" soon action is invalid and illicit per canon law. This holds true for the previous supposed excommunications on the Archbishop and the four bishops consecrated in 1988. Please avoid these pseudo-traditionalist sites like Rorate for the sake of your salvation. You jeopardize your own soul by not doing so....
Bishop Williamson plans to consecrate Fr. Jean-Michel Faure at the monastery of Santa Cruz in Nova Friburgo, a city in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. |
It is now reported at least one consecration will occur on March 19 (Feast of St. Joseph).
Bishop Williamson plans to consecrate Fr. Jean-Michel Faure at the monastery of Santa Cruz (that also broke with the SSPX in 2012) in Nova Friburgo, a city in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Fr. Faure, who is 73, entered the SSPX seminary of Ecône in 1972 and was
ordained a priest by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1977.
He had
previously been Superior of the SSPX District of South America and
Rector of the Seminary of La Reja in Argentina. He openly manifested his
disagreement with Bishop Fellay, the Superior General of the SSPX, and
left the Society in 2013.
It also possible that Bishop Williamson may also consecrate Fr. Innocent Marie.
Fr. Innocent Marie was ordained at Ecône by Archbishop Lefebvre in 1982.
He is the founder of the convent of Avrillé in France, of Dominican
spirituality, which also recently broke ties with the SSPX.
"In the spiritual reality of the church, neither Marcel Lefebvre, nor
his bishops and priests, nor the people who frequent the SSPX chapels
suffered or suffer excommunication. I believe history will record that
the intent to impose such an excommunication was invalid and illicit."
-Father Malachi MartinKeep in mind Father/Doctor of the Church, St. Athanasius, was excommunicated and exiled multiple times ...all later proven to be invalid and illicit....
Good! Praise God!
ReplyDeleteIs the Rorate Caeli as bad as Novus Ordo Watch?
ReplyDeleteYou should not support nor follow the analysis of either
DeleteIf this is true it is a kick in the face for Fr's Hewko and Pfeiffer.
ReplyDeleteConsecrations are not a popularity contest.
DeleteTo be a Bishop requires in mho a certain amount of poise and decorum. By allowing his right hand layman,"Pablo" to openly attack a Prince of the Church on his website and to continue to allow this man to speak for his organization, shows that Fr. Pfeiffer is not yet up to the task of the Episcopate.
DeleteFr Pfeiffer and Fr. Hewko are dynamite priests no doubt, but the Fate of the Church rests in GODS HANDS and it will be through this future Bishop..let us pray and wait, have Faith in God, His Will Be Done.

ReplyDeleteRorate Caeli didn't break this stroy. They shouldn't even be cited. In my opinion they were amongst the last to know. Only that everyone else had the dignity to keep their mouths shut.

ReplyDeleteHe can make me a Bishop too and I'll quietly offer up Mass while others wait around another 50 years smug in the knowledge that it's all in "GODS HANDS".
ReplyDeleteTo the Neo-SSPXer's/pseudo trad crowd: It has been done before by an SSPX bishop.after the death of the Archbishop. The neo-SSPXers who say it's unjustified or illegitimate really have no basis to condemn Bishop Williamson's consecration without also condemning the consecration of Licinio Rangel. The SSPX is a priestly society whose charter is expired and the bishops of the SSPX have no ordinary jurisdiction. The "logic" of "inside the SSPX" a consecration without approval is not schismatic, but outside of the SSPX it is schismatic, is the logic of a cult group.
