EARTHQUAKES IN DIVERS PLACES: Rare magnitude 4.5 earthquake strikes off coast of New Orleans
An earthquake struck off the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday, about 120 miles southeast of Grand Isle, according to the National Weather Service in New Orleans. There was no tsunami threat from the earthquake, according to the NWS.
