WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

A Wavering “Faith”

A Wavering “Faith”
By:  Eric Gajewski
James 1:6 “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, which is moved and carried about by the wind.”
PLEASE HELP THIS APOSTOLATE
Faith or fear?  Flight or fright?  Within the spiritual world we are pulled either toward the Sacred Heart of Jesus in grace or we are pulled to sin through self-love.  The book of James reminds us that when we ask God we are to ask God in full confidence.  This rules out any wavering on our behalf.  Yea, it is true we are often tossed “to and fro” in the interior of our souls by sin this sea of self-love.  How many fail to end that which they first set out to accomplish?  How many souls have ended in hell after starting out so well and fervent for Christ?  Nay, the hour is not to waver between moving forward in grace and retreating due to sin.  We must be soldier like and advance for our eternal rest is dependent upon our wills staying firm.

James 1:7-8  “Therefore let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. [8] A double minded man is inconstant in all his ways.”

Should we expect that which we ask for if we waver?

The answer from Scripture is no.

We cannot be asking in faith in the morning and doubting by evening’s end and expect the result we are looking for.  Without faith it is impossible to please God because without faith it is impossible to stir up the Sacred Heart into giving you that which you seek.

Now it is true that God gives according to His Will for He alone knows that which is best for our soul but he does command us in Scripture to ask.

Ask and ye shall receive.

We should not expect an answer to our prayer or a miracle if we are double minded.

God desires simplicity in your prayer and He despises the double minded.

The modernist’s who have hijacked our Church are very double minded.  One day they say “A” the next day they say “B” and contradict themselves.  They ask God for an end to all the world’s violence through disarming the populace.

A clever Marxist trap indeed and of course God will not hear this prayer from those who will remain not only double-minded but also those who obstinately refuse to obey the Mother of God (Fatima message; consecration of Russia).

He is not hearing the Bergoglio’s of the world.

Faith must fly through the Storm.  Faith doesn’t avoid the Storm.  I know a few people who have left the Church for the schismatic Orthodox because they see so much heresy and scandal in the Conciliar Church.

This is not faith.  This is a decision rooted in self-love and is simply avoiding the Cross.

Our position is different because although we recognize mainstream churches are heretical we are still keeping the Faith of all times and are willing for God to carry us through the Storm.

God will take you to the edge of the cliff to see how you react.  Faith or fear?  Flight or fright.

Those who remain in grace and stay resolute in their desire to please God will fly supernaturally through the aide of God and not by mere natural reason.

Those who think they know better and think they can avoid the Storm by “ducking below it” will drown in the seas below.

This is because in order for an eagle to fly it must keep its wings spread in Faith and hope and those who succumb to self-love will simply dive bomb into the seas below.

Sin is heavy it will weigh your wings down.

Waves inbound.  It is very difficult to fight against our ailing human nature.  We, like the surfer, must paddle out against the waves and current which are seemingly difficult to break near the shoreline.

We need God’s grace to break these initial waves of self-love.

St. Augustine reminds us that we will not rest until our hearts rest in His.  We are trying to break through these waves on a daily basis.

It is our fight and no one else to the victor will be an answer to prayer and God’s peace and to the loser will be those who succumb to sin and will drown.

Peter had faith for a few steps then he wavered and nearly drowned.  Did he not?

Even the best fall and you must realize this.  So, get back in the game get the water off of your feathers and be prepared to “launch” yet again.

This is your battle.  The battle against self and nature and we cannot have the victory without our Beloved.

Have patience with yourself.  “My brethren, count it all joy, when you shall fall into divers temptations; Knowing that the trying of your faith worketh patience. And patience hath a perfect work; that you may be perfect and entire, failing in nothing.”  James 1:2-4  God allows the Storm or these waves so as to sanctify your soul.

He is giving you opportunities to grow in holiness.

He is given you the opportunity to spread your wings and fly.  He wants you to fly higher and higher and not waver.

Do not look down but keep your eyes focused in on the Son above.  Ask for a greater degree in patience in faith.

He seeks your perfection and you are not only not going to arrive at perfection dodging the Storm but you will be fatally wounded in the process.

God doesn’t like the “draft dodgers”.  You are called to be a Soldier in these endtimes For His Divine Army.  Will you accept this call?

“Break through” (do violence unto yourself and resist sin)  these early rough waves and you will find the waters of this open deep sea to be gentle.

“Waves”

O’ how I delight in the Light

How I am free in thy gentle breeze

But Your Love is demanding

As I hear thy Voice calling

For It is Faith Ye seek, it is thy Heart which we must please

And O’ how I see cold hearts remain frozen

Out past these sands of self-denial

Unwilling to swim through the roaring waves of adversity

For it is self-love which is still strong

It is my own wavering heart which seeks to drown me

But fear not…

Amidst the Storm’s clouds dissipating

Amidst two hearts speaking intimately

It is still He who lovingly commands the winds of these created waters

And it is still He who supernaturally walks upon the waves of your unseen sea

"Thou rulest the power of the sea: and appeasest the motion of the waves thereof."
[Psalms 88:10]
