German Weekly: Document to Abolish Celibacy Is Already on Francis‘ Desk
Double Thumbs up From Francis
A document to introduce married priests is already on the desk of Pope Francis, reports the German weekly Die Zeit (October 25). One of the authors of the text is the Austria born radical modernist Bishop Erwin Kräutler.
According to the weekly Francis "reacts" to an alleged shortage of priests in the Amazon basin where less than 3 million people live of which many are not Catholics.
