Soros, the Vatican, the Council and Fatima
Last year, at the Fatima Conference in Chicago, attorney Elizabeth Yore gave a riveting presentation entitled, An Unholy Alliance: the UN, Soros, and the Francis Papacy.
Though the title of her presentation tells the tale, if you’ve not
yet watched the video (available below), I would encourage you to do so
as it will be an hour well spent.Most readers recognize the name that appears in the title to her talk, George Soros; the billionaire financier of numerous leftwing political and social groups that are committed to creating global chaos and disorder in furtherance of their cause.
As Mrs. Yore makes known in the presentation, Soros’ influence in Bergoglian Rome is most concretely exercised via his close collaborators, the most noteworthy of which are:
Joseph Stiglitz: An economist and advisor to the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, he was appointed a lifelong member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences by Pope John Paul II.
Jeffrey Sachs: Also an economist, he is the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, where his online bio reads: “He was among the outside advisors to Pope John Paul II on the encyclical Centesimus Annus and currently works closely with the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences on issues of sustainable development.”
Paul Ehrlich: A biologist and President of the Center for Conservation Biology and Bing Professor of Population Studies at Stanford University, whose claim to fame includes the books, The Population Bomb (1968) and its sequel, The Population Explosion (1990). Ehrlich also enjoys the honor of having been an invited speaker at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences.
In reference to such persons, Mrs. Yore said that while the “seeds were planted” in the Pontifical Academy of Sciences during the pontificates of John Paul II and Benedict XVI, “they didn’t sprout until Francis became pope.”
On this note, I must partially disagree with Mrs. Yore.
You see, while those seeds are sprouting as never before under Francis, they were actually planted at the Second Vatican Council; in particular, in the document Nostra Aetate – the Declaration on the Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions.
How so?
In addition to exercising influence upon the Pontifical Academy of Science, and by extension Francis and the entire Church, all four of the aforementioned men – Soros, Stiglitz, Sachs and Ehrlich – share yet another common distinction; they are Jews.
No, they’re not the only shadowy figures revealed by Mrs. Yore, but let’s be honest:
Modern day self-identified Jews stand at the very forefront of, and indeed pioneered, the nefarious agendas shown by Mrs. Yore to be honored with a platform in Bergoglio’s Rome – the climate change hoax, radical environmentalism, socialism, LGBT activism, and the source and summit toward which all of these are directed; population control.
Yes, there are so-called Orthodox Jews and others who identify as Jewish that have more traditional moral views on such matters as marriage, homosexuality, and abortion, but these are far and away the minority.
In any case, prior to the Council, the Church looked upon the Jewish people with genuine charity, the same way St. Peter did; namely, as those who must be exhorted to “do penance and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins; that they may receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and be saved.” (cf Acts 2:38-40)
Our churchmen at that time actually believed in the words of Our Lord:
He that despiseth me, despiseth him that sent me. He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. (Luke 10:16, 11:23)
In other words, the Church and her churchmen understood very well that the Jews, in denying Christ, had not only rejected the God of their fathers, but had abandoned any and all claims to an enduring covenantal relationship with Him; even if albeit in ignorance.
What’s more, the Church recognized that these peoples hold a special place among those who “scatter” in opposition to the mission given to her by Our Lord; namely, that of Christianizing the entire world.
And so moved by authentic charity, the Church prayed specifically for the Jews in the liturgy of Good Friday:
Let us pray also for the faithless Jews:
that almighty God may remove the veil from their hearts; so that they
too may acknowledge Jesus Christ our Lord. Let us pray. Let us kneel.
Arise. Almighty and eternal God, who dost not exclude from thy mercy
even Jewish faithlessness: hear our prayers, which we offer for the
blindness of that people; that acknowledging the light of thy Truth,
which is Christ, they may be delivered from their darkness. Through the
same our Lord Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen. (Roman Missal,
1955 version)
In the Rome of today, taking its cue from Nostra Aetate, Jewish faithlessness is treated as a badge of honor!Rather than calling the Jews to conversion and praying that their blindness may be healed, post-conciliar churchmen, including the popes, never seem to tire of reassuring the Jews of their salvation in spite of having rejected Christ!
As a result of their unwillingness to look upon the Jews plainly in the light of Christ’s words, our churchmen seem to have lost the grace necessary to recognize the evil that lurks behind their pet social agendas. (That is, assuming in charity that they have not knowingly chosen to join forces with those who stand against Our Lord.)
Following the Council and its treatment of the Jews (addressed in detail HERE and HERE and HERE among other places), it was only a matter of time before the red carpet would be rolled out at the Vatican to men such as Soros, Stiglitz, Sachs and Ehrlich.
The reason why these seeds are flourishing under Francis as never before is simple:
As I wrote some two years ago, more than any of the pre-conciliar popes, Francis thinks not with the Church, but with the mind of a liberal Jew; i.e., they are cut from the same faithless cloth.
In fairness to the Jews, however, having received the grace of baptism, Jorge Bergoglio is by far the guiltier party.
Bottom line, my friends, the primary mechanism by which the evil described by Elizabeth Yore came to infiltrate the Church is Vatican Council II.
Indeed, when one attempts to explore the roots of the current crisis, this is where all roads lead. And he who digs a bit further still will eventually make his way to Fatima, where Our Lady in her maternal solicitude came to forewarn us.
