The Church's stance regarding pilgrimages to Medjugorje has changed according to Archbishop Henryk Hoser, Pope Francis’ envoy to Medjugorje, Bosnia. Until now, dioceses, parishes or priests were forbidden to organize pilgrimages to Medjugorje.




Hoser told Aleteia (December 7) that this is de facto "no longer a problem.” He pointed out that Francis recently asked an Albanian cardinal to give his blessing to the faithful present in Medjugorje.

According to Hoser the conclusion of the Vatican Medjugorie Commission is favourable. The alleged apparitions of Medjugorie have been controversial from the beginning and are full of contradictions and false prophecies.

    This is ridiculous! No right-thinking person could possibly hold Medjugorje as a true Marian apparition site. The Vatican are going off the deep end if they think any Catholic will swallow this bologna

    Thanks to God i opened my eyes about Medjugorje, as i was born in Bosnia, i went there first time and after 8 months i discovered a breast cancer, exactly old 8 months. There is a devil and non Vergine Maria. I was healed by intervention of real Vergine Maria, after visiting many places of real apparitions, Kibeho, San Damiano, Fontanelle, Tre Fontane Roma....

    Medjugorje is a deflection from Fatima. People go in droves to Medjugorje seeking signs when what they SHOULD be concentrating on is the requests of Heaven given at Fatima.

    THIS IS BIG! ESPECIALLY THE PART ABOUT THE ANTICHRIST CLAIMING TRUTH TO MEDJUGORJE...SOUNDS LIKE A TRUE FIRST STEP TO CATHOLIC LIES AND DECEPTION. Personally, I don't know much about medjugorje and have never followed it, but I can see with my own eyes that it is a bogus apparition.
