German Freemasons Celebrate Anniversary in a "Catholic" Church
On June 30th, the four Masonic Lodges of Aachen, Germany, will celebrate
in the Aachen "City Church" the foundation of the first Masonic Grand
Lodge in London, in 1717. The gothic church dates from the middle ages.
Since 2002 it is no longer used as a church but, together with the Evangelical Church, for concerts and events. The church is funded by the ultra liberal Aachen diocese.
