Blessed the man found
without blemish
Who hath gone not
after gold
For wherest thy heart
art therest also art thy treasure
Wherest the moths
ought not have hold nor enter to corrode
In the striving for
perfection, an eagles ascension
With cleansed lips
remolded by the living coal
O’ my soul!... which seeks
to rise above the self
Above the horizon of
this worlds haze
An Eagles quest to
taste thee Divine Air
And bask in His
Presence forever in the midst of His Sacred Heart’s Rays
Whose light Yoke
removes sin’s smoke...
Whose divine Heart
perpetually is ablaze...
Whose Love, even unto the angelic, never ceases to amaze...
Yea, the “thief of
souls” canst only entereth
If thee do fall asleep
Where in this dream
the devils deceive men into playing
Raise me up an Army, O’
Mary!
And let the eagles
crush the serpents around us wherest they lay
