Apocalypse 12:14: Eagles & The Desert

Apocalypse 12:14: Eagles & The Desert
Apocalypse (Revelation) 12:14
And there were given to the woman two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the desert unto her place, where she is nourished for a time and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Brothers and Sisters I write to you in the Selfless Love and peace of the Union and Marriage of Jesus Christ and of His Heart and all the blessings that flow forth from it.  Who is this Woman who flies with the two wings of a great eagle into the desert? The Woman represents both Our Lady and the Church. And what are these wings which carry the Church and which emulate perfectly Our Lady? These wings are Faith & Hope. And what is She nourished by for a time and times and half of times from the face of the serpent? The Church is nourished by the Eucharist our Manna from heaven in this desert.

First, Our Lady, is the perfect model of the supernatural virtues of Faith & Hope. Her Immaculate Heart is perfectly mystically entwined with the Sacred Heart of Christ. She first said “Fiat!” and throughst Faith she bore Our Redeemer. She now comes in these latter times at Fatima to reassure her own that there is still Hope in the Sacred Heart which we can find by searching Her own Immaculate Heart. Thus by hiding in her in this desert she can ultimately guard and protect our hearts from all anxiety, doubt, fear and despair. What greater hope do we have in these perilous times other than the Immaculate Heart, which at Fatima, promised a ‘Triumph” over all the enemies of the Church and the enemy of our soul. Moreover, we can further apply this promise to our own individual lives. For through Mary all grace cometh from Her Son’s Sacred Heart and thence through Her own Immaculate Heart can we safely “hide in’ as an “eagles nest” to cultivate the virtues in the desert of our days. Nay, still more, it is, the Church, which is carried in Faith & Hope, into this desert, much like Moses led the Israelites into the desert with an eagle’s outstretched arms. In the desert days ahead when all social order folds, the economy implodes, and the persecutors of the Church are unleashed it shalst be these two wings which shalst carrieth above all our concerns, worry and fears.

Secondly, let us examine this “desert”.  This desert can be said to be the “interior place” of purification wherest the soul must journey through in order to reach the point of being able to absorb the ‘Fire and Light”. This is first found “consciously” in the illuminative stage (Wilderness). But before ever reaching the Wilderness and thus our final End we must first cross the Red Sea in Faith & Hope. But when they came up out of Egypt, he walked through the desert to the Red Sea.  Judges 11:16 Indeed, in this desert the Fire and Light are hard and harsh upon the soul which is need of much purification and why? The heart must be loosened from all things not God, in so that, it can, now, journey in straight line path toward the “Promised Land” which is the Sacred Heart of Christ alone. A heart is heavy when weighed down in ignorance and sin. He is Our Source and End and it is Mary, the Woman, which helps to guide us thru this desert.  The Israelites wandered because their hearts were impeded; they werest not ready for the Promised Land due to pride. Yet it is in this desert “stripping” the soul finds the virtue of humility and grows in the poverty and meekness of the Sacred Heart. My son, keep thy soul in meekness, and give it honour according to its desert. Ecc. 10: 31  Thus they complained and murmured even about the Manna and so God killed some and sent the rest in circles even as he shall with us, unless…..Unless we stay engaged within and recognize those things which impede us and uproot them at their source. This, of course, canst not be done without grace. In the soon coming “collapse’ of all things the Holy Ghost will lead us individually and as a Church into the desert; in and with Mary in our quest for spiritual perfection throughst the rerouting of our hearts back onto the Sacred Heart SOLELY. In a desert land, and where there is no way, and no water: so in the sanctuary have I come before thee, to see thy power and thy glory. Ps 62:3

Third, notice, that it is the wings of Faith and Hope, which keepest us from the face of the serpent.  The eagles wilst feed uponst the “Living Bread” which falls into this desert from above and we will grow in virtue and wisdom. Forty years didst thou feed them in the desert, and nothing was wanting to them. 2 Esdras 9: 21  Lo! A serpent canst not fly! For in the devils pride he is relegated to the ground to slither with no wings. He is the epitome of self who hast no hope to be able to fly divinely in grace. Therefore, when the eagles exercise their Faith and Hope, which come not from our strength, but rather His, we shall rise above the enemy, for the divine skies are meant for the eagles.  The enemy ultimately wilst be squashed by the heel of the “Mama Eagle” who does not play games with the enemy who comes close to her nest. You wilst notice how we can only grow if we stay close to the Woman and if we eat of His Body. Eagles eat that which is Alive (Christ) wilst the other birds (heretics) eat of the carcasses of this desert. Therefore, stay close to Our Lady, the Rosary and the Eucharist (Two Pillars of Victory, St. John Bosco)

Furthermore, how else can we describe this desert of the eagles?  In the desert there is temptation. Because in Selfless Love’s due course there is a need to refine the purity of intention of a man’s heart. Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation; in the day of temptation in the desert. Hebrews 3:8  Think it strange? Even Jesus laid down this model for us. Then Jesus was led by the spirit into the desert, to be tempted by the devil. Mt 4:1 Nevertheless, the desert is the meeting place of the elect meant for “molding” before the “beholding”.  And the Lord said to Aaron: Go into the desert to meet Moses. Exodus 4: 27  We canst not entereth into the spiritual marriage with our Beloved nor heaven, the “Promised Land”, without first being loosened from all sins and impediments that prevent our wills from perfectly resting in His.

As an illustration, didst not the Lord command the enemy to let His people go that they might sacrifice in the desert? Thus saith the Lord God of Israel: Let my people go that they may sacrifice to me in the desert. Exodus 5:1  In this desert you will learn to grow in Selfless Love by constantly “sacrificing’ and yet there is no true spark of Selfless Love in us, without us first, being united to His Sacrifice. The closer we are to His Cross the more united we are to His Sacred Heart. Where else do you think you wilst find the Woman? Thus, in the darkest and driest of all our days in this desert we learn to appreciate the Eucharist even more. In the desert we now understand just how important it is not to tamper with Truth. And the truth is the New Mass is not an Eagle’s Mass nor is the Vatican II religion our religion or Faith.

In addition, as punishment from God for Vatican II and the tampering with Truth, the Church shalst have to bare this desert for a time of completion. Your children shall wander in the desert forty years, and shall bear your fornication, until the carcasses of their fathers be consumed ill the desert…”  Numbers 14:33  Thus, it is a place of penance and making reparation for the sins committed. But this is all in Selfless Love’s preparation for the “Promised Land”, this soon arrival, of the land of peace, found in the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart.  Should we lose confidence in this arid place of the soul wherest we must loosen ourselves from the chains of self? No, because the Mountain of God surrounds this desert…He is near!  And Jethro the kinsman of Moses came with his sons and his wife, to Moses into the desert, where he was camped by the mountain of God. Exodus 18: 5  Yea, He is most closest when you think He is the most furthest away in this dark and dry desert of the soul.  He still is the Cloud by Day covering the Son’s Justice and the Fire by night which leadest the hearts of men out of captivity from the self. Yet thou, in thy many mercies, didst not leave them in the desert: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day to lead them in the way, and the pillar of fire by night to shew them the way by which they should go. 2 Esdras 9: 19

Undoubtedly, we shalst see and recieveth miracles in this period of time and interior state of soul (desert’s purification).  However, the miracle does not come until you outstretch your arms like an eagle (Moses) before that Red Sea that stands in your way  He brought them out, doing wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the desert forty years. Acts 7:36  He does so to reinforce this ever growing Faith amongst the sheep for we walkest by Faith not by carnal sight.  We are sent to the desert so as to get reacquainted with Our God and focus solely on Him.  Modern man has replaced God, not only with the latest gidgets and gadgets, but man, himself, has been raised up in pride onto the throne of his very own heart in attempts to be God Himself!  But I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt: and thou shalt know no God but me, and there is no saviour beside me. I knew thee in the desert, in the land of the wilderness. Osee 13:4-5

Moreover, this desert is an escape from the persecution and thus wherest the eagles ultimately gather in order to find our eternal rest. Thus saith the Lord: The people that were left and escaped from the sword, found grace in the desert: Israel shall go to his rest.  Jeremiah 31: 2  Nay, think you, to be any different, then to escape this “dry path’, en route to spiritual perfection? How else will ye reach the heights of the eagles awaiting us in heaven? Therefore, the desert is a place of preparation for our ultimate End Who is Christ alone. Jesus, Himself, laid down the model for us in the Gospel. He demonstrated that, in this desert, it is necessary, for silence and solitude and that we are to inwardly pray and stay connected to God in prayer. And he retired into the desert, and prayed. Luke 5:16, Mt 4:13, Mark 1: 12, 1:35

How else will you arrive to the end of this journey in the desert without solely focusing on the Fire Himself? How else will we findest the Fire Himself in the ‘burning bush” if we try to run from the desert?  And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the desert of mount Sina, an angel in a flame of fire in a bush. Acts 7:30  We should not expect anything less than what the Saints of God passed thru.  St. John ‘the Eagle” of Patmos was led by angel in spirit to this same desert. And he took me away in spirit into the desert. Apocalypse 17:3  For when all ‘things’ collapse around us (modern man’s False City of Security) we can now be rerouted (in heart) by the Cross and the holy suffering which ensues in this ongoing search (Desert/Wilderness) for Him alone. Thus, over time, His Face becomes all the more clear.  In the end we should not grumble, complain nor fear because this desert is the preparatory stage for mankind to enter into the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and it is also the interior place of preparation of the soul for the ultimate reception of the King Himself in the spiritual marriage (Interior Way’s Promised Land) There is no getting to the Promised Land without first passing throughst this desert.

Recap: Desert (purification), Red Sea (faith producing miracles), Wilderness (final loosening from self, illumination) The voice of one crying in the desert: Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the wilderness the paths of our God. Isaiah 40: 3  Then shalst the Promised Land (spiritual marriage) cometh. There is no other alternative route in the interior way. In that day I lifted up my hand for them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt, into a land which I had provided for them, flowing with milk and honey, which excelleth amongst all lands. Ezech 20:6  And so too wilst the Church come out of this desert, this Great Storm, this Great Test, on the “other side of self” and into the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart. The Lord therefore will comfort Sion, and will comfort all the ruins thereof: and he will make her desert as a place of pleasure, and her wilderness as the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of praise.  Isaiah 51:3
May thee Immaculate Heart of Our Lady guide, protect and guard your heart everyday in this exile, Ave Maria – Amen.

Wherest  will thou run wherest will thou hide?

For ye payest not attention nor care for My Love’s warning “in the signs”

With wings ye shalst be taken to the desert

For it is in this dry land ye shalst be fed

Uponst the hot bed of sand wherest all seemest to be dead

Whence the Manna shalst fall once again

For I AM still your “Living Bread”

It is by My Sacred Heart’s design

That ye be stripped of the cataracts within

And come out anew with the Eagle’s eyes

For ye modern man art so blind!

Pay heed! A word to the wise, prepare thy hearts now

In the soon coming ordained time

For here ye shalst seekest My Heart and it is here ye shalst find…

  1. I am wondering if the eagle of the fourth Trumpet angel, which flies in the heavens crying "Woe, Woe, Woe" at the time the Sun and moon are darkened, is a reference to the Prophets of the Old Testament who decried the sins of the Israelites at their carrying away into Babylon. Then the two wings of the great eagle may also represent the prophecies of the Old and New Testaments concerning the "Day of the Lord", of which there are so many, and which are a refuge and comfort for the faithful when faced with an overwhelming spiritual assault. This is not to deny the efficacy of Faith and Hope, but to call the Church to discover the comfort and confirmation of Sacred Scripture in times of grave persecution.
