Gun Control: The Next Gun Control Push: Ammunition Background Checks

Gun Control: The Next Gun Control Push: Ammunition Background Checks
The latest on the New World Order Agenda to "gun grab"
Second Amendment supporters have always warned of the “slippery slope” that leads to all out gun control. That analogy is never more appropriate than when the subject of California’s gun laws comes up. By all appearance the state has hit that slope hard, and won’t stop tumbling, which is the only reasonable explanation for their latest gun control push. Gavin Newsom, the former mayor of San Francisco turned Lieutenant Governor of California, has recently proposed a doozy of a ballot measure.

He wants ammunition purchases to require a background check, much like you would need to purchase a firearm. “It seems to me the most dangerous part of the weapon is not the weapon itself, it’s the ammunition,” he said last Friday at the Sonoma County Brady Campaign chapter.
The idea occurred to him after he tried to buy Sudafed, but was turned away because he doesn’t own a driver’s license (don’t be so surprised. Affluent leftists can afford to hire drivers, and presumably armed guards as well). “But interestingly, you can buy ammunition anywhere” and without any identification, he noted. Also interesting, is that he never stopped to wonder if requiring an ID for cold medicine is just as asinine as an ammunition background check.
The law would also criminalize anyone who happens to own high-capacity magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, which he falsely claimed are “disproportionately responsible for mayhem.” The California State Sheriff’s Association has criticized his proposal, claiming that “Effectively, this measure will create a new class of criminals out of those that already comply with common sense practices that now exist.”

 GOOD NEWS!

Idaho Becomes 9th State to Allow Concealed Carry Without a Permit

Despite the best efforts of the gun grabbers, polls show that on average, Americans have been slowly drifting towards supporting more gun freedoms over the years. Consequently, most states have been gradually loosening their gun laws, with the exception of places like California, Illinois, and New England. By and large however, support for the Second Amendment has a lot of momentum, especially in regards to conceal carry laws.
Take Idaho for instance, where Governor Butch Otter just signed legislation that would allow citizens to conceal carry without a permit. “I’m a gun owner, a hunter and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.” He said in an open letter last week “I have consistently championed our citizens’ gun rights throughout my years in public office, and I do so again today in signing Senate Bill 1389 into law.” The law argues that Idaho’s open carry laws are flawed, since citizens could still wind up breaking the law if their clothes accidentally cover their sidearms.
Residents of Idaho will still be able to receive a concealed carry permit, which will allow them to carry in other states. The law goes into effect on July 1st, and will grant conceal carry rights to anyone aged 21 and over who is legally allowed to own a firearm. Once it goes into effect, it will make Idaho the 9th state to allow conceal carry without a permit.

‘Gun Owners Are Terrorists’: Hillary Nods in Agreement

“Citizens are the terrorists, right?” the woman states as Hillary nods multiple times. “We’re so worried about terrorism but we have terrorism on our own soil,” the woman continues. When she claims that “gun manufacturers, our ammunition manufacturers are making terrorists out of our citizens,” Hillary’s agreement seems even more vehement.
Does Hillary actually believe that Americans who exercise their Second Amendment right to own guns are jihadists on a par with ISIS? Are gun manufacturers on a par with terrorists who build bombs to slaughter innocent people?
Clinton’s grasp of constitutional rights over recent months has been somewhat weak. READ MORE
