Neo-SSPX Watch: Father Schmidberger Foresees Canonical Recognition of the SSPX

the Year of "Mercy", Francis has agreed to extend an indult to the
Priests of the Society of St. Pius X, to hear confessions. Former
Superior, Father Franz Schmidberger forsees canonical recognition of the
Society as well as greater cooperation.
According Schmidberger "Pope" Francis' gesture will not be complete at the end of the Jubilee. "Indeed" - says Schmidberger - "it is
hard to imagine that this is limited to the Holy Year, nor do I think
this is the limit of the Pope's idea. Perhaps at first other similar
gestures are to follow. No
doubt - it seems - the Pope sees in our Fraternity a force that can be
of help to, as many have claimed, the new evangelization. Furthermore, our work corresponds in principle to his invitation to the spirit of poverty. In fact we do not receive state subsidies or the Church-tax, but we live only the generosity and sacrifice of the faithful. "
"If the Pope is really thinking of a canonical structure, it will open many doors even wider for our priests than today." "Especially" - concluded the former collaborator of Lefebvre - "we
could work together, according to our vocation, to the formation of a
new generation of priests filled with a spirit of faith and apostolic
zeal."

TradCatKnight Commentary: Who cares about gestures? Catholics ought care about conversions. Francis is a devious double minded modernist (wolf) who cant be trusted and the Neo-SSPX thinks he can be. For those who still attend Neo-SSPX chapels the evidence doesn't become any more clearer. It seems the deal is done but there is a process of "smoothing things over" (between Modernist Rome/Neo-SSPX) so the Neo-SSPX doesn't lose alot of its attendees. Im sure financial support come into the equation as well. The Neo-SSPX for quite sometime has been moving in the direction of Modernist Rome. Their are still delusional souls who attend these chapels who actually think that what the Neo-SSPX is "doing" is in line with the "thinking" and principles of Archbishop Lefebvre. Fr. Schmidberger has been off his "rocker" for quite some time (like Bishop Fellay). The evidence is there for those who are not prideful. The Society works under supplied jursidiction because Rome is Modernist it hasn't held the Faith for quite some time. Francis needs conversion not the Neo-SSPX needing "recognized".
The Vatican II new gospel is not ours and those who were behind the council and interpret it never had the Catholic Faith. The Neo-SSPX ACCEPTS the diabolical second vatican council. On the basis of this compromise one ought not be attending their chapels. Compromise is grievous sin. They fly under the new banner of "clarificationism" which is not the same as Archbishop Lefebvre who taught "eradicationism". Clairificationism is NOT Resistance; it is buying time so the majority can be won over. According to the Neo-SSPX standards, St. Athanasius would have been labeled a "practical sedevacantist". The Neo-SSPX leadership has long been "gone" and yet still so many live in the fantasy land of trying to incorporate themselves back into the fold of the modernists who occupy our buildings. Yes, the authorities have jurisdiction, they are the legitimate owners of the buildings but do they have the Apostolic Faith? The answer of course is no. Therefore Bishop Fellay and the new leaders have failed Archbishop Lefebvre and are failing the Church. The Neo-SSPX is truly another indult...just slightly less poisoned than the FSSP or ICK BUT poison is still poison....
