Profanation at Santiago de Compostela Cathedral
On May 13, 2014, the Catholic authorities in charge of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela allowed a delegation of 30 Shintoist and Buddhist monks from Japan to celebrate their pagan ritual in that central place of Catholicism.A group of Japanese monks of the Buddhist temple Seigantoji, above, performed a ritual - the Shugendo - to reach a purified mind. Another group from the Koyasan monastery, below first and second rows, sang Buddhist songs used in the Japanese rituals. A Shintoist "priest" of the Kumano Hongu temple performed the Hoh dance and two "priestesses" from Hayatama Taisha, third row, performed the Kamunagi Mai dance.
A whole festival of paganism was carried out before the main altar of one of the most important churches in Spain. How can one not see in this act another profanation of Catholic churches made in the name of dialogue with false religions?
It is not necessary to say that Archbishop Julian Barrio of Santiago de Compostela, last row, gave his full approval for this event.
Introducing liturgical dance in New Castle, Australia
Have you thought about the best way - if you were a Bishop - to introduce liturgical dance in your Diocese? We believe the best way would be to find a Catholic dance school for girls - very young girls - and then invite the group to perform in your Cathedral.
You would certainly have the applause of the parents, who would be proud to have their daughters performing on such a prestigious "theater." Also, their friends would be charmed: "She was so cute!"; The ladies in the audience would rave, "What lovely, innocent children!" raising a psychological barrier against any criticism of the performance.
If you were to choose this route, you would prove to be a shrewd progressivist Bishop. After that performance, the door would be open for every other liturgical dance.
This was precisely what Bishop William Wright of Maitland-New Castle, Australia, did on May 14, 2014. He invited the Aspire Ensemble, a dancing group for girls, to perform at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Above, you see the Bishop seated in his cathedra framed by the raised bare arms of girls in tight leotards.
It is outrageous to have women - girls included, no matter how young the girl may be - dressed in leotards dancing before the altar. The church is the house of God, which is reserved to renew the Sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ at Golgotha and, by this act, to glorify God. No profane activity should take place in the church except for very noble activities, like a performance of a sacred theater, and even then, the Holy Sacrament should be previously removed from the place.
Below, some shots of the event showing very young and adolescent girls displaying their dancing talents along with their bodies inside Sacred Heart Cathedral.
In the last row, you see Bill, which is how the Bishop likes to be called - wearing a rainbow-colored scarf as he gives an interview to a local radio station.
Bergoglio kisses the hand of pro-homo priest
On May 6, 2014, in a private audience at Santa Marta Inn, Pope Bergoglio kissed the hand of Salesian Fr. Michele de Paolis, above, founder of the Community on the Road to Emmaus - an association to help marginalized people. Before the audience Paolis concelebrated Mass with Francis at his chapel. Paolis read the Gospel of the Mass..Paolis, a priest from Foggia, South Italy, is a partisan of Liberation Theology. On his Facebook page, he defines himself: "I feel anticlerical, that is, of belonging to no caste, no category; I do not feel part of an official religion. I try to give peace and joy to persons who are in the most dramatic situations of existence: infidels, the unchurched, the divorced, those seeking abortions, homosexuals, the desperate, a variety of marginalized persons. I seek the light of the Gospel in the Church on controversial issues, such as the celibacy of priests, women priests, pedophilia, [sexual transmitted] diseases and euthanasia."
In 2010, Paolis, together with Gabriele Scalfarotto, founded a homosexual group called AFeDO. Later, the priest wrote in an article for a LGBT group in Lecce: "Those who want to make you 'heterosexuals,' as it is called, force you to act against your nature and make you unhappy psychopaths. We need to keep in mind that God, our Father, wants us, his children, to be happy, by making fruitful the gifts that He has placed in our 'nature.' ... You have the right to look for a partner. ... Live your love with joy. And with our mother Church we must have patience. Her attitude regarding homosexuals will change. In this sense numerous initiatives have already started."
In another essay, Paolis wrote this about homosexuality: "We must liberate our thinking from a danger: fundamentalism, that is, to take literally what the Bible says. The new obedience to the Gospel is free, responsible and conscious. Instead of wasting energy in endless religious polemics, it aims towards a new Christian spirituality of joyful acceptance of yourself, being grateful to God, knowing that homosexual love is His gift, which is no less than that of the heterosexual." (These data were taken from Giuseppe Nardi)
It is remarkable that Francis wanted to glorify this priest by kissing his hand. After his "Who am I to judge" declaration, this is another spectacular blow favoring homosexuality.
