REFUGEE CRISIS: Rape reports up by 400% in Sweden’s capital since 1996 

 

According to Sweden’s Crime Prevention Council (Brå), 7,200 rapes were reported to the police in 2017. The number corresponds with approximately 20 rapes a day.



The figures show a substantial 10% increase compared to 2016, when there were 667 fewer rape reports. Other forms of sex crimes also showed an increase: The number of sexual offenses increased by 8% to 21,500 and the number of sexual coercion cases increased by 7%.
Most shocking was the increase of rape reports in Sweden’s capital Stockholm. It increased by 29% last year and compared with 1996 the increase is a staggering 400 per cent.
Sweden’s mainstream media suggests the surge in rapes has to do with the definition of rape and the increased motivation to report, but looking deeper into the matter, another trend becomes clearly visible.
Earlier the (now banned) site “Gang Rape Sweden” published data that showed that 82 per cent of Sweden’s gang rapists are foreign born.
Other reports showed somewhat the same data: An investigation of convictions between the years 2012-2017 shows that migrants from Muslim countries commit 84 per cent of violent rapes. The Gatestone Institute already showed that Sweden’s rape crisis started after the country became “diverse”.
Informal reports have come from a lawyer who said most of the clients involved in sex crimes are migrants and from a police officer who said the same. The fact that the majority of rapes are committed in cities and areas (mostly) populated by migrants, gives another clue about who the perpetrators are.
