Vocations in Ireland – Record Low In 222 Years
Only six seminarians will start this autumn at the National Seminary in Maynooth, Ireland according to Irish News. This is the lowest number of beginners since Maynooth was opened in 1795. The present structure was built for 500 seminarians.

Last year 80 seminarians were studying in Maynooth.
