WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

Fr. Campbell, "The Greatest Escape"

Fr. Campbell, "The Greatest Escape"

An amazing event occurred over two thousand years ago that has consequences for every human being. That event was, of course, the Birth of Jesus Christ, the God-Man, Son of God and Son of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The human race had fallen from the grace with which it was endowed by God at its first beginning. It descended into the depths of sin and alienation from God. But God had promised a Redeemer, and when the time was right He sent His only-begotten Son into this world to be born a man, taking His human nature from the Immaculate Virgin Mary. Mankind was being given its second chance. Jesus Christ is the New Adam, and Mary is the New Eve.

Every human being now has a choice – to remain an heir of Adam and Eve, inheriting their sin with its punishment, or to be born again through Baptism, thus becoming a member of the new race of which Jesus Christ is the Head. St. Paul tells us in Romans: “…death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin after the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a figure of him who was to come. But not like the offense is the gift. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more has the grace of God, and the gift in the grace of the one man Jesus Christ, abounded unto the many” (Rom.5:14,15).

False prophets try to convince us of the doctrine of the brotherhood of all men. There is no such thing as Original Sin, and we will all share the same eternal destiny. But this is a false doctrine, because although we all share the same human nature, unredeemed human nature is selfish and self-seeking, inclined to start wars and preach a false peace and security. The Fallen have their own plans for the world, and are unwilling to accept God’s plan because they hate God’s Divine Son, Jesus Christ, who has become a “stone of stumbling” for them.

The Globalists want a New World Order, not the one intended by God. They want to reduce the world’s population, and that by any means available, be it by promoting abortion, birth control and sterilization, by provoking wars and natural disasters, or by causing famines and pandemics. They call it “Population Control”.

Margaret Sanger, a racist and elitist, the founder of Planned Parenthood, where unsuspecting women are victimized, was one of them. She considered some races inferior, and called for the “elimination of human weeds.” She believed that what she called the “dysgenic races” should include “fundamentalists and Catholics” in addition to “blacks, Hispanics, [and] American Indians.” “Birth control,” she said, “appeals to the advanced radical because it is calculated to undermine the authority of the Christian churches. I look forward to seeing humanity free someday of the tyranny of Christianity no less than Capitalism.”

The famous Jacques Cousteau, another advocate of “population control” wrote in the Unesco Courier, 1991: “the damage people cause to the planet is a function of demographics-it is equal to the degree of development. One American burdens the earth much more than twenty Bangladeshes... In order to stabilize world population, we must eliminate 350,000 people per day. It is a horrible thing to say, but it’s just as bad not to say it.” (Dr. Stan Monteith, M.D, The Population Control Agenda, http://www.khouse.org/articles/1997/93/).

One of the recommendations in the “Kissinger Report” of 1974: Develop alternatives to children as a source of old age security. Now we know where all the children have gone.

Well, I guess we know where we stand. Catholics will not be welcome in the Brave New World of the future. But we have already been separated from the world. St. Paul tells us: “Do you not know that your members are the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought at a great price. Glorify God and bear him in your body” (1Cor.12:19,20).

He tells us in Romans: “Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed in the newness of your mind, that you may discern what is the good and acceptable will of God” (Rom.12:2).

Our Lord Himself tells us:

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before you. If you were of the world, the world would love what is its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I have spoken to you: No servant is greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also; if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do for my name’s sake, because they do not know him who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates me hates my Father also” (Jn.15:18-23).

What a relief to know that we do not have to follow the example of the world. We do not have to love what the world loves, we do not have to wear its immodest fashions; we do not have to watch its creepy movies and corrupt TV and computer programs. We do not have to be condemned with the world. We don’t have to spend our eternity in Hell with the fallen angels and damned souls. They talk about “The Great Escape”. But we have executed the greatest escape in the history of the world. Those who reject Jesus Christ and His Church are trapped, condemned to live their lives in sin and despair, unless they repent and turn to Jesus Christ. But we are free to follow the Prince of Peace into His eternal Kingdom. God grant us the grace to be true to our great vocation! For:

“You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people; that you may proclaim the perfections of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. You who in times past were not a people, but are now the people of God; who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy” (1Pet.2:9,10).
