From the “Fig Tree” learn a lesson

From the “Fig Tree” learn a lesson
By: Eric Gajewski
From the work, "Fortress of the Soul"
Protestants erroneously misinterpret Scripture: The fig tree "blooming again" does not refer to the supposed regeneration of the"nation of Israel" but rather to the conversion of the Jews to Christ and the Catholic towards the end of the world.
From the “Fig Tree” learn a lesson
And from the fig tree learn a parable: When the branch thereof is now tender, and the leaves come forth, you know that summer is nigh. Matthew 24: 32

For those who think that Israel/the Jews are still Gods chosen people, even Christ Himself said they no longer were. The Jews for rejecting the Messiah are now accursed. This is found in both Scripture and Tradition of the Catholic Church (not Vatican II NewChurch). The fig tree is to be understood in the old as Israel but thence a foreshadowing of both Mary and the Church. So not only can we say the Jews rejected the Messiah they also reject(ed) Our Lady and the Catholic Church as such from which their Redemption cometh. Here, our Lord speaking to His disciples and us demonstrates, Israel is now barren, for He art the Roots of this fig tree upon which they (Israel/ the Jews) receive Him not.  Thus, He actually accurses this fig tree (Israel) which now builds up to the main point of this teaching.

TradCatKnight Exclusive: The Jews, Still God's Chosen?

And when he had seen afar off a fig tree having leaves, he came if perhaps he might find any thing on it. And when he was come to it, he found nothing but leaves. For it was not the time for figs. [14] And answering he said to it: May no man hereafter eat fruit of thee any more for ever. Mark 11: 13-14

And when they passed by in the morning they saw the fig
tree dried up from the roots. And Peter remembering, said to him: Rabbi, behold the fig tree, which thou didst curse, is withered away. Mark 11: 20-21

And seeing a certain fig tree by the way side, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves only, and he saith to it: May no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away. [20] And the disciples seeing it wondered, saying: How is it presently withered away? Matthew 21: 19-20

He spoke also this parable: A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none. [7] And he said to the dresser of the vineyard: Behold, for these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it done therefore: why cumbereth it the ground? [8] But he answering, said to him: Lord, let it alone this year also, until I dig about it, and dung it. [9] And if happily it bear fruit: but if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. [10] And he was teaching in their synagogue on their sabbath. Luke 13: 6-9

For the fig tree shall not blossom: and there shall be no spring in the vines. Habakkuk 3:17

Our Lord in the Gospel according to Matthew was clearly identifying “certain signs” with the advent of His second coming, one of which would be the ultimate conversion of the Jews. Once we see the “leaves” begin to bloom again, that is, this conversion of the Jews unto Christ and true Catholicism (not Vatican II) we know that His Coming is nigh at hand. And who ultimately has the specific task (converting the Jews as a whole) of doing such work? Answer: From Scripture and Tradition, the Two witnesses, Elijah and Enoch.

St. Augustine (354 - 430 AD)
"It is a familiar theme in the conversation and heart of the faithful, that in the last days before the Judgment the Jews shall believe in the true Christ, that is, our Christ, by means of this great and admirable prophet Elijah, who shall expound the Law to them. For not without reason do we hope that before the coming of our Judge and Saviour, Elijah shall come, because we have good reason to believe that he is now alive. For, as Scripture most distinctly informs us, he was taken up from this life in a chariot of fire. When, therefore, he is come, he will give a spiritual explanation of the Law which the Jews at present understand carnally, and shall thus, "turn the heart of the father to the son", that is, the heart of the fathers to the children. And the meaning is that the sons, that is, the Jews, shall understand the Law as the fathers, that is, the prophets, and among them Moses himself, understood it...that the Jews also, who had previously hated, should then love the Son who is our Christ." 10 (Ibid, Pages 469-470. The City of God, Book 20, Chapter 29).

St. John Damascene (676 - 749 AD) "And Enoch and Elijah the Thesbite will be sent and they shall 'turn the heart of the fathers to the children', that is to say, turn the Synagogue to our Lord Jesus Christ and the preaching of the Apostles. And they will be destroyed by the Antichrist." 11 (Ibid, Page 473. De Fide Orthodoxa)

St. Robert Bellarmine (1542 - 1621 AD) "The third demonstration arises from the coming of Enoch and Elijah, who live even now and shall live until they come to oppose Antichrist himself, and to preserve the elect in the faith of Christ, and in the end shall convert the Jews, and it is certain that this has not yet been fulfilled." 12 (Ibid, Page 475. Liber Tertius, P. 434)

Yet this is a far cry from what we are being told by today's exegetes, who view the words of St. John the Evangelist with just a symbolic lens. How can such a turnabout be explained? In his encyclical Pascendi Dominici Gregis, Pope St. Pius X makes the following comment about Modernist Scripture “scholars”:
"To hear them talk about their works on the Sacred Books, in which they have been able to discover so much that is defective, one would imagine that before them nobody ever glanced through the pages of Scripture, whereas the truth is that a whole multitude of Doctors, infinitely superior to them in genius, in erudition, in sanctity, have sifted the Sacred Books in every way, and so far from finding imperfections in them, have thanked God more and more the deeper they have gone into them, for His divine bounty in having vouchsafed to speak thus to men." 14 (Pacendi Dominici Gregis; Pope St. Pius X; August 9, 1907; N. 34).

What our Holy Father of happy memory describes would seem to be the cause of the defective modern interpretation of St. John's vision and its supporting Biblical passages. As we have seen in this brief study, there is a consistent body of teaching on the Two Witnesses that extends from the Apostles to St. Robert Bellarmine (d. 1621), who was the last Doctor of the Church to make a detailed study of the Antichrist. This teaching, based on Scripture and confirmed by the Oral Tradition of the Church, is that Enoch and Elijah are still alive, that they have been placed in a terrestrial paradise prepared for them by God, and that they will return at the time of the Antichrist to convert the remaining Gentiles and Jews to the Catholic faith. St. Robert Bellarmine is so convinced that this teaching is of Apostolic origin that he says to hold an opposing point of view "is either absolutely heretical, or a serious error very close to heretical". 15 (Birch, Page 476. De Summo Pontifice, P. 434).

So you also, when you shall see all these things, know ye that it is nigh, even at the doors. Amen I say to you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Matthew 24: 33-34

Moreover and generally speaking, Our Lord is specific in answering, how long the world has left, in terms of time, until His consummation with the world from that point. The generation that sees the Jews convert to Christ and Catholicism will see the literal second coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. I would also argue that the Fig tree is a representation of Mary and the Church of which shall soon “blossom” once again in the world in the true restoration of society unto the Sacred Heart of Christ through the Immaculate Heart. Mary, Tree of Life, who first brought “Life Himself” into the world, shall soon be the spark or catalyst in this “blooming season” that soon arrives. Thus, there shall be no more Vatican II: right to religious liberty, liberty of conscience, false ecumenism, false collegiality, freedom of press/speech, separation of Church and state, etc all of which are Masonic not Catholic teachings.

Mary, Tree of Life

Verily, Vatican II shall be squashed beneath her heel and Her Triumph shall commence.  Holy Christendom will be revived for a short season of which at the end the reign of Antichrist comes…. and is this possible (living thru the reign of thee Antichrist) in our own lifetime? For those who are advanced in age this is not at all likely but for those younger who happen to get through this upcoming Great Storm I would say that it is more than possible but rather most/highly probable.  Yea, we are now in the “dead of winter” in this Vatican II Revolution/crisis that shall be regenerated thru Mary in the “true renewal of spring” which we call the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and thus ultimately ends with the “Summer” of Christ’s consummation with the world. His Selfless Love is great; therefore, the Fire of His Sacred Heart shall ultimately chastise and destroy the world but thru this same very Heart re-establish all things anew.

In summation, Let us remember as eagles to keep our eyes fixated upon this rainbow of regeneration that is on the horizon rather than the Storm itself. For, it was once, Our Lady, the Ark, which carried us thru the storm unto the rainbow of  a “new life” in Love’s regeneration. And thus shall She not also participate in the Plan of Redemption once again? Shall She not carry us above this soon Great Storm as our “chariot of Fire”. And upon Her Immaculate Heart we shall fly freely with the wings of Faith and Hope. Do we not intimately hide in the Ark of Her Heart? Do we not hide in grace, behind the solid dogmatic Walls of Faith in Her…. our Fortress of the Soul? Is She not this Tree of Paradise which brings forth conversion and sparks “Life” back into the souls of men and ultimately society?  Yea, this we do know; all graces flow from the Sacred Heart thru Her Immaculate Heart unto men. Our Lady CoRedemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces, pray for us!

Do we not seek to breathe the Divine Air in which She passes unto men? From Son unto Mother…Please play this video while reading the poem below…

“Lesson from the Fig Tree”
Take me by thy hand and guide me, O Queen
Throughst the Fortress of Faith
Unto perfection, that I throughst you, might be complete
For I have journeyed within from these lands afar
From the valley of death thru the storms of the sea
Take me as thy own so that upon your “chariot of Fire”
I mayst arise above my own nature and fly as an eagle so free!
For I long to belong but it has been so long
Since my eyes throughst this desert of aridity could see
It is this haughty “self” which keeps You from me!
This enemy, I must subdue, therefore, I come to thy shores a sinner
Wherest out from my heart, into thy endless Waters, bleed
Yea, my heart was locked in “self’s” dungeon, hell’s prison
Yet you did come along with a Key
And arose, I did, in thy Immaculate heart’s unbeknownst heights, now suited for the fight
A Soldier in thy Army wherest in my hands you gave me a rosary
And around my neck you placed thy Scapular
In thy Fortress, O’ Mary, let me of thy Bread eat….
It is here within intimately my heart confess the only Son, my souls only need
And before the world one day I shall raise this banner of you, our Queen, announcing the victr’y
Yea, take from me my heart’s every greed
And beneath thy branches plant deep in my soil, Selfless Love’s Seed
Help me to care for my soul and to replace every vice, “Self’s” weeds
With your profound humility and simplicity
For it is all these virtues that flow from you so now I cling to thy breast to feed!
I want to know thy Son’s deep yet rich poverty, O’ Sacred Heart
Therefore, I shall seek to go “without’ in hopes to remain alone with Thee
Harken heareth an eagle speak! This is the Eagle’s Creed…
And as the whole world continues to crumble around me
I shall not give into to despair, doubt nor worry
But rather upon thy crown I shall focus upon thy beauty
I shall journey daily in prayer to my Source, thee Eternal Root, Our Lord and King
Who must first be found mystically, upon the surface, through Mary, Our Blessed Lady
Yea, this is what I have learned as lesson from the Fig Tree….

Apocalypse (Revelation) 2:7
He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him, that overcometh, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of my God.

  1. Did You Know More Israel no Longer The Fig Tree of God ?

You know; qui Israel will no longer is almost 2000 years, God NATION.

Jesus said (Mateus 21:43) that the Kingdom of God will be taken from you (Jews), and the parable of the wedding, after the coming of the vineyard owner (God) of which was fulfilled in that generation in the year 70 AD and 135 AD (Luke 21:32), with the destruction and the end of Israel, has been Given to others (Mark 12: 9) !!!!

Evangelicals say that Israel remains the nation and divine clock, lower church and indirectly say that He (the Messiah) has not come in the flesh to the world (2 John 1: 7).
