Franciscan faculty and students were astonished to see the Notre Dame Cathedral on fire in Paris yesterday. However, real catholics these days were not. We know these types of events will become all the more regular. I saw a short news piece here locally wherein one of the faculty even broke down in crying. Although, it is sad to see this Church, which, once housed the Catholic Faith, burn to some degree, it is but a sign of God’s Wrath to come not only for France but for the world by and large.
