Resignation of Cardinal Wuerl accepted
Francis has accepted the resignation of the soon to be 78 year-old-Archbishop of Washington, Cardinal Donald Wuerl. The cardinal has been at the center of criticism and protest in the last two months, after the publication of the Report of the Pennsylvania Grand Jury , the dossier that collects the testimonies of child abuse in the North American State in the last seventy years.
