This is a good story, but we do have hypersonic nuclear weapons,
contrary to what this documentary says. Our problem is that our
infrastructure is highly susceptible to a grid-attack (or EMP or CME
attack). I'm not making this up, and can't say more than I can say.
But the Chinese and Russians are already in are grids, and could turn
off our power overnight.
But what is not widely know (but it's UNCLASSIFIED) is that NATO
has off of the west coast of Scotland an underseas base of Trident
Nuclear Weapons that could turn Russia into ashes in fifteen minutes: https://www.
OK, we're talking about Big Boy stuff here; Russia does have a
hypersonic first-strike capability with multiple nuclear war heads on
each ship that flies above the atmosphere, that could kill most of the
Easter seaboard of the US, but so do we. We could decimate Russia in a
matter of minutes with conventional techniques. So, if we got into it
with Russia what would happen (according to the CIA) is that it would be
either cyber warfare, an EMP Nuclear weapon above our atmosphere, or
both.
