Medjugorje Hoax Exposed

Medjugorje Hoax Exposed
Note: Not an endorsement for sedevacantism
For those arguing I had a wonderful "experience" at Medjugorje we must remember subjective experience does not precede doctrinal errors and heresies.  Clearly Our Lady was not speaking to these seers.

Question: "Is the Blessed Mother calling all people to be Catholic?" Answer: "No. The Blessed Mother says all religions are dear to her and her Son." (Janice T. Connell, The Visions of the Children, The Apparitions of the Blessed Mother at Medjugorje, St. Martin's Press, August, 1992.)

What is Medjugorje?

Medjugorje is a village in the mountains of Bosnia-Herzegovina. In 1981, six young people claimed to be having apparitions of the Virgin Mary. The "Blessed" Mother supposedly first appeared, then later told the visionaries that "God" had sent her into Medjugorje to help convert hearts and lives back to him. The messages, which continue to this day, center around peace, love, "faith", supposed conversion, prayer, fasting and acceptance of all religions.
News of the "Virgin Mary's" supposed apparitions began to attract pilgrims to the small village, first from the surrounding areas and then, from around the world. At the time, Bosnia was part of the communist nation of Yugoslavia. Despite the official atheist policy of communism, so called clergy, theologians as well as experts from the physical and medical sciences visited and testified that some type of phenomenon was taking place when the apparitions occurred. In addition, some pilgrims reported seeing the sun spin as it had in Fatima. Others reported that their rosaries turned gold. And, as had happened at other sites of true Marian apparitions, physical, spiritual and moral healings were claimed taking place.
In this article, we will prove beyond doubt that all the so called miracles at Medjugorje are hoaxes made by the Devil with the intention to lead souls astray. A true apparition from Our Lady cannot contain heresies, but Medjugorje contains numerous condemned heresies, as we will see.

The Medjugorje Hoax

An Apparition Teaching Error and Heresy

A) "The Madonna always stresses that there is but one God and that people have enforced unnatural separation. One cannot truly believe, be a true Christian, if he does not respect other religions as well." ("The Apparitions of Our Lady of Medjugorje," Franciscan Herald Press, 1984.)
B) "The Madonna said that religions are separated in the earth, but the people of all religions are accepted by her Son." ("The Apparitions of Our Lady of Medjugorje," Franciscan Herald Press, 1984.)
C) Question: "Is the Blessed Mother calling all people to be Catholic?" Answer: "No. The Blessed Mother says all religions are dear to her and her Son." (Janice T. Connell, The Visions of the Children, The Apparitions of the Blessed Mother at Medjugorje, St. Martin's Press, August, 1992.)
This is total apostasy and heresy in the Message of Medjugorje. It is a rejection of infallible Catholic dogma that all Catholics must believe in order to be saved (see below); it is a rejection of the dogma Outside the Catholic Church There is No Salvation; and it is a total rejection of the clear teaching of the Gospel on the necessity of believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, for salvation. Jesus says in John 8:24: “For if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sin.”
Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino,” 1441, ex cathedra: “The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, <not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives; that the unity of this ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only for those who abide in it do the Church’s sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militia produce eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”
This proves that Medjugorje, like the rest of the false modern false apparitions (such as Bayside, or Garabandal etc.), is a deception of the Devil.
D) The Virgin was accustomed to reciting the Our father with the seers. (But how could Our Lady say: "Forgive us our trespasses," since she has none? At Lourdes, Our Lady was careful to keep her lips closed during all the Paters and Aves, reciting only the Gloria Patris.)
E) The Virgin: "I do not dispose of all graces... Jesus prefers that you address your petitions directly to him, rather than through an intermediary." (Chron. Corp. p.181, 277-278)
This is protestantism. Our Lady is not a protestant. So this quote alone would prove that it's a false apparition.
F) Mirjana: "I recently asked the Virgin this question (whether many souls are damned), and she told me that nowadays most souls go to Purgatory." (book by Fr. Faricy, p. 64)
This is a clearly false teaching in direct opposition to the teaching of the Holy Bible, Fatima, St. Louis de Montfort, Pope Gregory the Great, St. Alphonsus, St. Anthony Claret, St. Augustine, etc., etc.
G) Oct. 1, 1981: "All religions are equal before God," says the Virgin. (Chronological Corpus of Medjugorje, p. 317)
H) "In God there are no divisions or religions; it is you in the world who have created divisions." (Faricy, p.51)
This is clear heresy. God the Holy Trinity is the Catholic religion. God, in the person of Jesus Christ, founded the Catholic Church. So not all religions are equal before God. Otherwise, what is the point of being Catholic?
I) "God directs all denominations as a king directs his subjects, through the medium of his ministers" ("The Apparitions at Medjugorje," by Fr. Svat Kraljevic, 1984, p.58)
It's heresy to say that God directs heretical denominations that perverts and mocks the teachings of Jesus Christ.
J) "Each one's religion must be respected, and you must preserve yours for yourselves and for your children." (Kraljevic, p.68)
False religions that leads souls to hell is not to be respected but condemned. And if this is not true, then one must respect satanists who make a mockery of Jesus Christ and the sacraments.
Medjugorje is clearly teaching the modernism heresy of respect, esteem and toleration of false religions that is so prevalent amongst the Vatican II sect.
K) "The Virgin added: 'It is you who are divided on this earth. The Muslims and the Orthodox, like the Catholics, are equal before my Son and before me, for you are all my children." (Fr. Ljubic, p.71)
Unbaptized unbelieving Muslims or baptized schismatical Papacy rejecting Eastern "Orthodox" adherents, can in no way be equal to the baptized Catholics in state of grace - neither can they be saved while practicing their false religion.
The Catholic Church teaches that Islam is an abomination and of the Devil:
Pope Eugene IV, Council of Basel, Session 19, Sept. 7, 1434: "… there is hope that very many from the abominable sect of Mahomet will be converted to the Catholic faith."
Pope Callixtus III, 1455: "I vow to… exalt the true Faith, and to extirpate the diabolical sect of the reprobate and faithless Mahomet [Islam] in the East."
As to the "Orthodox," all those above the age of reason, who know about the Catholic teaching on the Papacy and yet rejects it with obstinacy, will go to hell unless they convert and become Catholic.
It is a dogma of the Catholic Church that one must accept the Papacy to be Saved.
Pope Pius IX, Vatican Council I, 1870, Sess. 4, Chap. 3, ex cathedra: "… all the faithful of Christ must believe that the Apostolic See and the Roman Pontiff hold primacy over the whole world, and the Pontiff of Rome himself is the successor of the blessed Peter, the chief of the apostles, and is the true vicar of Christ and head of the whole Church... Furthermore We teach and declare that the Roman Church, by the disposition of the Lord, holds the sovereignty of ordinary power over all others… This is the doctrine of Catholic truth from which no one can deviate and keep his faith and salvation."
But the Vatican II sect denies this dogma.
Heretics and schismatics, such as Protestants and the Eastern Orthodox, are outside the Catholic Church and must be converted to the Catholic Faith for unity and salvation. It's necessary for them to accept all the Catholic dogmas and councils, including the dogmatic definitions at Vatican I in 1870. This is infallible Catholic teaching.
However, Benedict XVI teaches that Protestants and Eastern Schismatics don't need to be converted, and don't need to accept Vatican Council I. He says that non-Catholics are not required to accept the Papal Primacy... (See The Heresies of Benedict XVI).

Apostate Schonborn thinks its legit, surprised?

Medjugorje Testimonies

Subject: Medjugorje “Miracle”

Hello, I hope you have been doing well. I want to tell you of my mother's recent trip to Medjugorje. First I will preface that she knows that I hold the sedevacantist position, and despite my numerous attempts over the past 4 years to get her to open her eyes to the imposter church, she remains staunchly Vatican 2. Before she went on the trip I tried expaining how the "Mary" of Medjugorje cannot be the same person as Our Lady because the real Mary woudn't praise other religions. Again, in one ear and out the other. So last week she took her trip to Medjugorje and got back yesterday. She was so excited because the metal crucifix of her rosary turned from silver to gold while she was there. This is so sad, she is so easily deceived all the more now. Yet it is my mother's love of the lies of Vatican 2 that makes her fall for lying signs and wonders of the devil. I can't tell you how sad and depressed and frustrated I get over family members, especially my own mother, who unless by the grace of God to shed light into their souls, will not be saved.

Sincerely,
Josh
Thank you for the e-mail. It's a prime example of a lying sign and wonder that St. Paul predicted. He prophesied that they will come in the final days to deceive those who receive not the love of the truth (i.e., the traditional Catholic faith). The example you give from Medjugorje, deceiving a person who doesn't want the truth, is exactly what is foretold. It shows that we are living in those times.
"Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying. That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity" (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).
Subject: Mother, Medjugorje

Hi. I was the person who emailed the other day about my mom who took the trip to Medjugorje last week. Well, I was talking to her last night and I asked if anyone else in her tour group had their rosaries turn to gold. Only one other person out of 60 in her group did it happen to. That tells me that the devil is working very hard to keep her in lockstep with Vatican II. He knows your information is of the truth and that I've been praying hard for her conversion to the true Catholic faith. But I won't give up, just like St. Augustine's mother didn't give up on her son, I won't give up on my mother. She was asking me over and over last night to watch her Medjugorje dvds she brought back from her trip. I tried to strike a deal with her. I said I'd watch her dvds if she would watch your dvds. She didn't agree, but she's strongly considering it. If she does agree to watch your material, then it could be my opening to get her to listen with an open heart about the true faith. Please keep my mother, Carol, in your prayers.

God Bless,

Josh

  1. Unfortunately many people are and will be deceived by false prophets and mystics. Jesus warned that many will come in his name. Yet it's difficult to convince someone once they have been deceived and many fail to understand the power of the devil to deceive, to their detriment. Many people also fail to see that the character and voice of Jesus and Mary in a lot of these false mystics and apparitions is so different from that in scripture. In some of these mystics, the Virgin Mary seems to have so much to say and so many messages to deliver in contrast to the silent and humble Blessed Mother we see in scripture and in approved apparitions. Look at the simplicity and clarity of Lourdes and Fatima and the endless volumous writings of these mystics which could literally rival scripture. That goes for Faustina also.

I cannot help but believe those that believe and follow V2 not only do so out of ignorance but also relief. Being a true Catholic isn't easy. It's the hard road and the narrow path the requires much of those that walk it. There are no free passes that have become all too common with the current apostate church. The smoke of Lucifer had been seen rising in the Vatican and it is with that same smoke that's being blown up so many rears today. This makes me sad. It's as if none have paid attention to the warnings that were sure to come, that we're currently watching unfold. Unfortunately, with the current state of the church and the world, the great deception that is coming already has over half of that number willingly deceived. My prayers for them continual as are my prayers for those true to the faith endure doing the time we face ahead.

  5. To not attend the Norvus Ordo mass which is the false mass. You may still keep the 1st Commandment and keep Holy The Lord's Day. Pray the Holy Rosary, and give all of your deeds to God.
There is also something called Spiritual Communion. When unable to receive Holy Communion, it is a pious practice to make a Spiritual Communion. Say The following prayer of St. Francis.
I believe that You O Jesus, are in the most Holy Sacrament. I love You and desire You. Come into my heart. I embrace You. Oh never leave me. May the burning and most sweet power of Your love, O Lord Jesus Christ, I beseech You, absorb my mind that I may die through love of Your love, who were graciously pleased to die through love of my love.
