Fr. Campbell, Finding the Straight and Narrow Way

Finding the Straight and Narrow Way

Early in December the Church celebrates two great feasts of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8, and the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12. Then, of course, during Advent we accompany Our Lady and St. Joseph in spirit as they make their way to Bethlehem where Our Savior’s Nativity will be celebrated.

Mary is our Mother too. The Book of Genesis speaks of her prophetically as “mother of all the living” (Gen.3:29). The Book of the Apocalypse, the last book in the Bible, speaks of her as the Woman clothed with the sun, crowned with twelve stars, the moon under her feet. She is engaged in a desperate struggle with a Red Dragon, the devil. Mary is the Woman, representing the Church, which is made in her image. The Church will seem to die, but it will rise again, more glorious than ever, purified through trial and suffering, without spot or wrinkle, like Mary at her Immaculate Conception. This is why we are called to renounce sin and become a holy people. We must be formed and nourished in the life of the spirit by the Mother of Jesus Christ, who is also our Mother. Under her influence we are born and grow in the spiritual life. Her Immaculate Heart is a school of formation for her children. It is essential to have a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to remain in her Immaculate Heart, like Noah and his family in the Ark.

There is another woman spoken of in the Apocalypse, the Scarlet Woman, the Harlot who sits on the Beast with the seven heads and the ten horns (Apoc.17:1-6). We may identify her as the counter-church, the usurper church, which has allied itself with Judaic Freemasonry. The counter-church has been set up within the structure of the true Church by the Red Dragon, the devil, and his agents have taken over her highest offices, and most of her institutions.

This they have done to us, and now they openly boast about it. The false priest, Hans Kung, was one of the most prominent and influential “Catholic” theologians at Vatican II, under John XXIII and Paul VI, along with his friends and fellow “experts,” Karl Rahner, Karol Wojtyla (later John Paul II), and Joseph Ratzinger (now Benedict XVI). In 2007, Kung was honored with the “Culture Award of German Freemasons” for a Lifetime of Service to “the Craft.” Speaking, as it was said, “straight from our Masonic hearts,” Kung boasted:

“We control the seminaries, the academic departments of theology, the catechetical and liturgical institutions, the publishing houses, the magazines that matter and the chanceries. Most of the bishops are now on our side and those that aren’t have been neutralized. Anybody who wants a future in the hierarchy or the Catholic academy has no choice but to co-operate” (www.Kath.net, 5/20/2007).

That’s all we need to know. We will NOT co-operate with the devil! The devil’s counter-church is full of lies, deceit, and scandal. Under “Papa” Francis Bergoglio it is falling to pieces, and those who hold the true Church in bondage are being exposed. In a desperate effort to give credibility to Vatican II, they are “sainting” the Vatican II pontiffs, with the aid of the new fast-track canonization process created by John Paul II. But they are overplaying their hand. This goes against the good judgment of true Catholics and holy priests like the late Father Luigi Villa, who spent his life trying to expose the work of Freemasons within the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, and wrote vigorously to prevent the canonization of the conciliar popes.

In the early Church, almost all the popes were martyrs, and are honored as saints. But except for Pope St. Pius X, canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1954, we must look back over 400 years to find another canonized pope, St. Pius V (1504-1572). But now we are expected to accept with a straight face that all four conciliar popes were saints – St. John XXIII, St. Paul VI, St. John Paul I, and St. John Paul II, and no doubt, not far down the road, add a fifth, St. Benedict XVI. Well, how about “St. Francis Bergoglio” too?

At one time the Church pondered the life of a prospective candidate for sainthood for many years, even centuries, and conducted a rigorous examination of the person’s life and works before considering canonization. But the Vatican II “saint factory” can take care of that. Since John Paul II, saints are being “processed” like sausages.

Yet most Catholics still think the counter-church is the true one. The devil has deceived them, and few are they who are able to escape his clever tactics. Most human beings, in one way or another, are his obedient slaves, and are on their way to perdition. This includes the majority of our fellow Catholics, who are now persuaded that the way to Heaven is a broad and easy path after all. They have forgotten Our Lord’s words about the straight and narrow path:

“Enter by the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who enter that way. How narrow the gate and close the way that leads to life! And few there are who find it” (Mt.7:13,14).

The “breaking news” lately is about predators of various stripes. The children are particularly vulnerable, since they do not yet have the wisdom and experience to defend themselves. Wise parents should know that even children’s movies and TV programs are vehicles for the devil to corrupt the minds of the little ones. Children are now taught that vulgarity and immodesty, crude jokes and situations, and crude language are acceptable and funny. They are being prepared to accept worse things later on. Even the most hardened and fearless of men should quake in their shoes at this stern warning from Our Lord:

“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it were better for him if a great millstone were hung about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea” (Mk.9:41).

But Our Lady is at war against the Great Red Dragon, and we can’t let her fight alone. She can’t help us if we sit idly by without intense prayer and sacrifice, our Rosaries in our hands. With her prayers and the grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ we are well armed, but we must fight for the young, as well as for our own salvation. May God strengthen our resolve!
