Five Concise Reasons Not To Attend the New Mass

Five Concise Reasons Not To Attend the New Mass
By:  Eric Gajewski
Archbishop Lefebvre speaking on the New Mass, “"It does not oblige for the fulfillment of the Sunday duty."

Can a Catholic attend the “New Mass” based upon the argument that “it is valid’?  Can Catholics attend churches where heresy is taught?  What would be some reasons to avoid, altogether, not only, the New Mass but churches teaching the Vatican II New Religion?  These questions and others shall be examined and answered in the following article. “And we have the precise conviction that this new rite of Mass expresses a new faith, a faith which is not ours, a faith which is not the Catholic Faith. This New Mass is a symbol, is an expression, is an image of a new faith, of a Modernist faith. ….Now it is evident that the new rite, if I may say so, supposes another conception of the Catholic religion-another religion.”  Archbishop Lefebvre, summed up, the crisis, in the Church (specifically the Liturgy), quite well, some decades ago.  Yet more and more “traditionalist’s” do not see clearly in our times.  They are falling into the trap the New Mass is valid therefore I can go.  They do not consider that the New Mass is illicit and the New Rites are schismatic.  They do not consider that the Vatican II buildings do not house the Catholic Faith but a “counterfeit” version thereof.  Let me discuss further.

Reason #1.  Those saying the New Mass teach heresy.  Who says the New Mass?  Those who say the New Mass are material heretics in the very least.  Some of these priests may very well be formal heretics.  It is up to you to first know your Faith and then speak to each priest beforehand to see where they stand on doctrine.  On the basis that these poor priests are not keeping the Faith we must do as the Church teaches us and avoid those buildings altogether.  There need not be any formal sentence beforehand on these priests from the Church as the Arian Crisis proves.  Modernist’s are not going to condemn other modernist’s.  Vatican II has shoved down the throats of men and entirely new man centered religion which Pope St. Pius X warned us of long before this illicit/invalid “council”.  The heretics (FreeMason Bugnini being one of them) behind the New Mass needed to water down the Faith and Liturgy so that the Protestants could feel more invited to the Conciliar “table”.  In addition, this New Mess now has a presidor over it, who, faces the “audience” and merely “celebrates” rather than “offers” a Sacrifice unto God.  The priests of Vatican II (Novus Ordo) are not being faithful (objectively speaking), therefore, why would you displease Jesus by communing with them?

Fr Hesse: Vatican II in Two Minutes

Reason #2. The New Rites are illicit and schismatic materially.  As Father Hesse points out in the video below the new rites are evil and Paul 6th had no authority to change them.  Says who?  Says the dogmatic council of Trent (canon 7, session 13).  By doing so, Paul the 6th put himself outside the Church and those embracing the same do so as well.  What is now being taught as “Catholic” is not at all Catholic.  As Father Hesse points out in the second video Vatican II is an unacceptable “council” for Catholics to accept and you cannot satisfy your Sunday obligation in those churches teaching heresy.  You can also see the related section down below for Archbishop Lefebvre’s further analysis.  The New Mass is a bastardized, protestant “rite”.

Fr Hesse Know your Rites!
13 min mark is where he talks about avoiding the Conciliar Church

Reason #3 Cannot approach “doubtful” Sacraments (in general).  Although sedevacantist’s and “hardline traditionalist’s disagree that the New Mass is altogether invalid (in general) we still arrive at the same conclusion (no matter how you analyze it) that you must avoid it.  We agree that you cannot approach “doubtful” Sacraments in the very least.  It is a basic principle in Sacramental Theology that if a Sacrament has a certain level of doubt, even if it has other things in favor of its validity, that it is a mortal sin to attempt to receive or dispense it.  You can look this book up online to read further on the matter (Nicholas Halligan, OP, The Administration of the Sacraments) https://books.google.com/books/about/The_Sacraments_and_Their_Celebration.html?id=eTVLAwAAQBAJ

Please see Fr. Hesse further explanation on the matter below.  FYI, In emergency situations (i,e death) Canon Law does state we could receive the Sacraments from heretics/schsimatics as Fr. Hesse points out in this video.

Fr Hesse. Can One Confess to a heretical/Schismatic Priest

Reason #4.  Jesus and Mary forewarned us of the “New Mass” which displeases Him.  Through a faithful servant of God, Marie Julie Jahenny (approved), we have been forewarned of this apostasy.  In her writings we can see how angry God is with the Novus ordo and all its “newness”.  One of the specific things that was forewarned about was the New Mass.  This was back in 1902 and 1904!  On November 27, 1902 and May 10, 1904, Our Lord and Our Lady announced the conspiracy to invent the "New Mass": "I give you a WARNING. The disciples who are not of My Gospel are now working hard to remake according to their ideas and under the influence of the enemy of souls a MASS that contains words that are ODIOUS in My sight. When the fatal hour arrives when the faith of my priests is put to the test, it will be (these texts) that will be celebrated in this SECOND period ... The FIRST period is (the one) of my priesthood which exists since Me. The SECOND is (the one) of the persecution when the ENEMIES of the Faith and of Holy Religion (will impose their formulas) in the book of the second celebration ... These infamous spirits are those who crucified Me and are awaiting the kingdom of THE NEW MESSIAH."  As I have been pointing out for years Vatican II is leading souls into the formal Apostate Church of Darkness or Harlot mentioned in the Apocalypse.

The enemy is watering down the Faith and liturgy to appease heretics and even pagans.

Soon there will be an “ecumenical rite” (perhaps 2018) to further prepare the way for common “worship” of the coming Antichrist (the Beast). Anyone who idenitifes as a Christian heretic or not must be clumped together.  This is their plan.

Then they will get people from any false religion” involved.

Prophesy from the mystic Marie Julie Jahenny

Reason #5 No grace!  I have heard the counter argument from the Novus ordites that they are receiving grace from the New rites themselves and this is pure hogwash.  The mere fact that they cannot see what they are following isn’t Catholic is proof enough they are not getting what they think they are.  In general, any grace that would be coming to individual souls in the Conciliar Church (due to invincible ignorance) would be from the Church herself or the Blessed Virgin Mary not the Rite or New Mass itself.  Something intrinsically evil does not do as such.  Fr. Martin talks about how God is largely “cutting off men” from grace due to their pride.  The people in the Conciliar Church just don’t want to hear about any apostasy, therefore, God is tightening up the valve of grace.

Fr. Malachi Martin: "God Withdrew His Grace"

In the end, there are definitely big differences between what sedevacantists and hardline traditionalist’s have to say in this Vatican II crisis but we both say the same, that is, avoid the New Mass and those buildings teaching the Vatican II New Religion.  I answer those following Vatican II, who argue back, “you are a heretic and schsimatic” for resisting Vatican II and the New Mass, that, “you are a modernist and are following a new religion with principles already previously condemned by the Church”.

You are the heretic in reality.

In the end, Vatican II goes away and is nullified. Thank God!  To those who would argue the New Mass is giving us “eucharistic miracles” I respond Our Lord and Lady warned us of endtime “false prodigy signs and wonders” trying to “rationalize” the acceptance of something intrinsically evil.  It is similar to the Medjugorje situation.  To those who argue the New Mass is valid, therefore, I can go!  I answer the Russian and Greek Orthodox churches have a valid priesthood and Sacraments as well yet does the Church teach we can go there?  The answer is no, of course.  The Conciliar Church is loaded with heresy and must be avoided.

You cannot mix a small portion of poison with any drink and think you will be unaffected.

In short, the poisoned do not think they are poisoned and they are slowly being killed spiritually.  It is too dangerous for your soul to be in the Conciliar Church and it displeases Jesus to do so in full knowledge (mortal sin) of knowing Vatican II and New Mass are evil (which they are).  The Apostate Church of the False Prophet and Antichrist are close and sadly “many” will apostasize and take the “mark”.

If you compromise NOW you stand NO CHANCE THEN!

Get out of the Conciliar Church while you can.  By doing so you are remaining faithful To Jesus and Tradition and not acting cowardly.

    1. I agree! But I have a question, why did Bishop Williamson say that you can go to a novus ordo mass ?

    2. He Did not say you can go to the New Mass! He told a Woman who was just starting out in tradition ( who was quite emotional) that if she was getting anything out of it to continue going. The Bishop has openly said he made a mistake and that he should of spoken to her in private. The Bishop in the same conference had already said at least 5 times not to go the New Mass.

    1. AMEN Eric and Frank! I am so much more now at peace with the decision to leave the N.O. churches and never return again without feeling my soul is in danger. And GOD KNOWS my diligent search for a Traditional Catholic Latin Mass church within 1.5 hrs. of my home has not been without struggle and strife. And, when available, I will attend those masses with LOVE AND JOY IN MY HEART AND CHRIST'S BLESSING!

  13. It is a long and heart wrenching decision to make. It took me years to finally make the decision. Being a Catholic I knew what it meant if I left and the consequences of a wrong decision. Because I was born after the N.O. mass was all that was said and because I was only taught the V2 catechism, it took me a long time. God promises He will not foresake us if we truly, humbly seek Him. He led me to understanding. For those still undecided, have fortitude. Trust. Pray. Read. Nobody in the N.O. church will lead you to the Truth. Thank you so much Eric. You do a great service.

    1. Pax et Bonum! I appreciate your story, because I am experiencing for quite sometime, the more I take on Tradition, and express it openly, the more friends I am losing. Not that I am forceful or arrogant about my beliefs, but that I make it politely clear where I stand and where I worship now. There is nothing I can do to "convince" another to do this with me - it is a calling and a mission at the same time. There is much more to it than the nice chant music and a nice change here and there as some N.O.'s may think. They are not at that place, they are not knowing the history and they aren't really committed. I will hang in there though, because as more is revealed and made known, as well as reading Scriptures, it is becoming more apparent it is TRUTH. Tks again Jen! God bless.....

  52. What great sorrow for Jesus and Mary! Let us make reparation to the Sacred Heart and obey the message of Fatima without delay. My question for you is what do you think of Garabnadal?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. While no one can be dogmatic about Garabandal, until all is fulfilled that was predicted, there are numerous reliable sources who support and believe in Garabandal. Mother Teresa was a believer and good friend of the principal seer, Conchita. Fr. Malachi Martin believed in Garabandal. Servant of God Fr. John Hardon believed in Garabandal, while condemning Medjugorge. And lastly, and most importantly, Padre Pio was a believer in Garabandal. He met with Conchita, corresponded with her, and had personal items sent to her after his death. Before he died, he gave word that one of his death masks be sent to Conchita. Here's a good section from the link added at the bottom of my post:

"When Conchita found out Padre Pio died in Sept. 1968, she met his close friend, Father Bernardino Cennamo, at Lourdes, and asked him, "How is it that Our Lady told me Padre Pio would see the Miracle and he has died?" Father Cenammo responded, "Padre Pio saw the Miracle before he died. He told me himself." The priest gave Conchita one of the three veils that covered Padre Pio's face during his wake, saying that the stigmatist had requested this before he died. He told her truthfully that he personally did not believe in the authenticity of Garabandal until Padre Pio requested this of him. Conchita also was given Padre Pio's rosary, and one of the gloves he wore, stained by his stigmata. ...

Padre Pio never ceased recommending pilgrims who asked him about Garabandal, to make a visit there."

Garabandal is well worth investigating, following, and believing.

    2. I'm with you, Faithful Catholic. Of course, we can't be 100 percent sure until the prophecies are fulfilled, but I see no cause to believe Garabandal is a false apparition. And it's really pretty simple: it was either a demonic hoax and those girls were duped by a smooth-talking demon, or Our Lady actually appeared there, and it is, in fact, genuine. It's one or the other.

    3. Sorry, I didn't read the part about Mother Teresa. Don't support her. She was a Huge fan of Pope John Paul II's ecumenical movement. Maybe her heart was in the right place, but the heresy of ecumenism should have been condemned, and she was one of its biggest cheerleaders.

      Delete
    4. Mother Teresa may not have been perfect -- and no holy person is ever perfect -- but there is no denying that God was with her, worked through her, spoke through her, and grew her Missionaries of Charity with such largesse that only the Finger of God could have been at work and responsible.

Faithful Catholics today have to be very careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water. We live in a fallen and imperfect world. To deny the holiness of Mother Teresa is too narrow of a vantage point. She was clearly an instrument of God. Traditional Catholics have to be very careful not to over-reach in their criticisms in a world (and Church) that do need criticizing. It is Satan whose other name is "Accuser."

    5. MOTHER TERESA WAS ECUMENICAL AND EVEN SAID BUDDHISTS SHOULD BECOME BETTER BUDDHISTS SHE IS THE PROTYPE NEWCHURCH "SAINT"...

      Delete
    6. Yup, and after her death there was an article from a novus ordo website (crux, I believe) which detailed a new "Mother Teresa" who ran an orphanage or something, alongside a Muslim Imam. The NO are all about ecumenism, and she was their type of "Saint"

      Delete
    7. I think mother Teresa often gets a bad rap. She was also ironically accused in India of converting people against their will, having ulterior motives of service to convert and of attempting to Christianitze India. I think the eccumenical things she said were often a response to being accused of converting. She wasn't perfect, who is? Who knows how many people she converted through her works. She took the love of Christ to the needy every single day and LIVED the message of Christ. There are many who are only concerned with arguing this doctrine or that and critising others for this or that but when was the last time they helped a homeless, poor, sick or dying person. The truth is that you can talk someone's ear off to convert for years and not convert them. If you've done missionary work you'll know this. You can also convert someone through fear and guilt and create Catholics who don't fully reconcile themselves to the gospel, who have no love or humility and many other virtues - like someone who only has partial contrition for sins, they do not fully follow Jesus. She prayed for hours everyday and served in the name of Jesus and in her strong faith, left the work of conversion to God.

      Delete
    8. I agree she did accomplish a lot because she believed more in God's love than in her own weakness. She allowed God to use her through her work. When I see some of her critics, It's funny how so many people today think that they are saints walking among men they talk a lot but have very little virtue. Try converting a Muslim or Hindu and not just a Protestant or Novus Ordo catholic, not easy! You can plant a seed and pray for God to do the rest. Conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit.
