Try me O’ Lord

Who hides at times in this Game of Love within

With Dogma cutting through men like a sword

Whose doctrine unto the world was folly and “sin”

Trieth my heart and turn me into gold!

Teach me how to toil in the sacred soil of thy Vineyard

As one of Your docile sheep in the fold

Setup in me thy Tabernacle, O’ Flame

For this hill we are climbing in suffering

We shalst descend from in Love are one and the same

Climbing together, inwardly strengthened

I seek that which is dominant over nature, above

Eating upon His body as an eagle and thirsting for His Blood

Whilst those who suffer not

Have only this life for their lot

Pursuing themselves in all things they do not stop

For those who live by their passions

Are the same ones striving after the latest fashions

Harken to heareth an eagle speak…

Can, you not, of these warning signs above, read?

Be ye converted!  Now is the time to repent

For the coming Wind of “I Am” whispers words to men to amend

Thou say ye love? Can this truly be?

For ye daily inject thy self with this worlds drug

Putting thee into a delusional state far from reality

For our hearts were not made to be alone

Nor cling to any “thing”

Nay, we will not rest, until, we too, pierce His chest

Therefore, why do you pursue anything less?

Do ye not confess that this Sacred Heart,

Is where safety and security art found?

Yea, the "way of self" ends hard!

And hell's abyss screams filled with souls forever to self, bound

For it is only Thee who have won our hearts

It is only thy "beating" which kills "the self" in me

For I cannot be One with the One

Who made the Cross our glory

UNTIL united suffering is seen as love

And UNTIL the Cross becomes me

For it is with every loving blow

That my soul is made more holy

And it is here uponst this great Tree, Love's story told...
Where two hearts become One, mystically married

Where Your Sacred Heart broke out of Passion for me

And at the same time mine was made whole,

Yea, this is truly our Faith’s great mystery
