Satanists Interrupt Pro-Life Protests Dressed as Babies

A group of Satanists interrupted pro-life protests outside of Planned Parenthood facilities in Michigan on Saturday, The Blaze reported.
The protests were part of about 200 held across the nation by #ProtestPP, a coalition of state and national pro-life groups.

The Satanic Temple in Detroit acknowledged that it "crashed" the protest, saying it intended to "expose fetal idolatry and the perpetuation of fictional, coercive propaganda against the reproductive health organization."
The Blaze reported that the Satanists dressed as babies, wearing masks and diapers. They displayed whips and sprayed milk and baby powder.
They also interrupted another related pro-life protest in Ferndale, Michigan.
One woman who helped organize the Ferndale pro-life protest told The Blaze that her group began to pray for the Satanists as they acted out a skit.
"I did not feel threatened by them at all," Barb Yagley explained. "We felt that they needed prayer."

Sesame Workshop Debuts 6-Year-Old Girl Afghan Muppet

Sesame Workshop is welcoming its first Afghan Muppet -- a 6-year-old girl named Zari -- in an effort to promote female empowerment in the country.
Zari, whose name means "shimmering" in the Dari and Pashto languages, made her debut today on the show called, "Baghch-e-Simsim," which is the local co-production of "Sesame Street" and one of the country’s most popular children’s television programs.
"Debuting a confident, inquisitive, and sweet Afghan girl character is a perfect opportunity to engage both boys and girls with lessons supporting girls’ empowerment and diversity appreciation," said Sherrie Westin, Sesame Workshop's executive vice president of global impact and philanthropy.
Zari is being introduced to children in a country where girls have fewer educational opportunities than their male counterparts. Education is often not an option for many girls and women in Afghanistan, according to government figures. About 26 percent of the nation's population is literate, and among women the rate is only 12 percent.

In one segment, Sesame says Zari will interview a pediatrician to find out what it would take for her to become a medical professional and to learn more about taking care of herself.
Zari is on a show that has the highest awareness among children’s television shows in Afghanistan, about 86 percent, according to Sesame. It also receives funding from the U.S. State Department.
Westin said Sesame is "thrilled" to bring the Afghan girl Muppet and "powerful role model" to the children of Afghanistan.
Zari follows other female Muppets introduced to audiences abroad by Sesame, like Kami in South Africa and Chamki in India, both of whom are considered influential with viewers around the world.
"Sesame Street" was originally launched in the United States in 1969.

20,000 lesbians Gather for Debauchery in the desert

Every year at the end of March, 20,000 lesbians from around the world fly into the Californian desert for five days of debauchery, and I’m one of them. It’s my second time at the Dinah, also known as the largest girl festival in the world. I’m staying at the Hilton in Palm Springs, which is hosting the famous Dinah pool parties, and the hotel feels like a homosexual harem.
It’s a surreal experience: for a few days the world is turned upside down, the minority is suddenly the majority. Everywhere you look, lesbians are smiling, drinking, dancing, kissing. There are a few men around – staff working the event and guys who have been dragged along by lesbian friends – but they are hard to spot. It’s basically entirely queer women in attendance. Christian churches ‘must be made’ to affirm homosexuality, says New York Times columnist

A New York Times columnist and a corporate leader have agreed that Christian churches “must” be convinced, or coerced, to change their teachings on sexual morality and abandon an “ossified” doctrinal teaching that sex outside heterosexual marriage is immoral.

Frank Bruni wrote that traditional Christianity – whether among evangelicals, Catholics, or Orthodox – provides the greatest resistance to normalizing homosexuality in the United States in a recent column in the New York Times.
“Homosexuality and Christianity don’t have to be in conflict in any church anywhere,” Bruni insisted. “The continued view of gays, lesbians and bisexuals as sinners is a decision. It’s a choice. It prioritizes scattered passages of ancient texts over all that has been learned since — as if time had stood still, as if the advances of science and knowledge meant nothing.”
Bruni quoted furniture tycoon Mitchell Gold, who has used his millions to found a liberal pressure group Faith in America, writing that Gold believes Christian churches “must be made 'to take homosexuality off the sin list.'”
“His commandment is worthy — and warranted,” Bruni added.
The column sparked outrage at the notion that a successful businessman and an op-ed writer could induce the Christian Church to ignore a 2,000-year-old dogma.
Noting Bruni's column at The American Conservative, Rod Dreher wrote that he would find a conservative columnist lecturing liberal denominations that they “must” change their moral theology equally “appalling” as an act of imposition.
“But of course nobody on that side seems to have the slightest doubt about their cause, their motives, or their methods. None,” he wrote. “In a holy war, there is no room for doubt.”
A number of mainline Protestant churches have, in effect, taken Gold's advice, condoning – if not celebrating – homosexuality and allowing sexually active homosexuals to be ordained as pastors.
The Episcopal Church saw its membership decline by half-a-million people between 2002 and 2012. After changing its views of homosexuals, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) lost more than 600,000 people – in excess of 12 percent of its total members – in just three years. The first mainline church to allow for homosexual ordination, the United Church of Christ (UCC), lost 350 congregations within three years of its 2004 decision.
But even refraining from calling same-sex relations a sin – or, in the words of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, “intrinsically disordered” – is not enough for the modern LGBT movement.
“The LGBT militants are not asking to be left alone,” said former Reagan administration adviser Pat Buchanan, a co-founder of The American Conservative. “They are demanding that we accept the morality of homosexuality and same-sex marriages, and manifest that acceptance, under pain of law and sanctions, in our daily lives.”
Buchanan said during an interview with WND.com that orthodox Christian churches must have one response to demands that they alter their teachings to fit the modern zeitgeist: “The answer is no. If it comes to civil disobedience, so be it.”
Buchanan's statement came as a number of prominent evangelical Christian leaders have called for open acts of nonviolent resistance if the Supreme Court forces states to accept homosexual “marriages” this summer.

Japanese robot enrolls in high school, World’s First

A high school in Japan is about to receive a new student, and his name is Pepper. He’s likely to stand out among his classmates, however, because Pepper is actually a humanoid robot. It marks the first time a robot will study alongside human students. “I never thought that I would be accepted into a human school,” the robot said upon hearing of his successful enrollment at Hisashi High School in Waseda, Fukushima Prefecture.
He also promised to “try my best,” TASS reported. Pepper comes to the school with an impressive array of language skills, speaking both Japanese and English. He will mostly take part in English classes, though the school has told Pepper than he can also visit other classes and activities. Teachers believe learning alongside Pepper will be a positive experience for students, encouraging their desire to learn new information. READ MORE

New Research Suggests Half of all people could be carrying ‘Gay Genes’

Around half of all people, including straight men and women, could carry “gay genes”, meaning that they continue to be passed down the generations despite the tendency of homosexuals not to have children, new research suggests. The sisters of gay men tend to have more children, helping explain the persistence of homosexuality in larger populations,
while straight men may also carry genes predisposing them to being gay, the study found. Research by Giorgi Chaladze, of Ilia State University in Tbilisi, Georgia, used a computational model to look at the influence of genes and heredity on homosexuality, and its presence throughout human history and in all cultures. Man accused of dog's rape, murder claimed dog killed his iguana

A man accused of raping and murdering an emotional support service dog in March allegedly told investigators in Washington state he hanged the 3-year-old pit bull mix from a tree in the forest because the animal killed his pet iguana.
James Leroy Evans, 33, posted $50,000 bail and was released from Thurston County Jail on Wednesday, where he was being held on a first-degree animal cruelty charge, Q13Fox reported. He was arrested Sunday based on a tip from a relative of the dog’s owner, The Olympian reported.
Evans confessed to officials that he killed the dog, telling authorities, “I did it! I hung her,” according to court documents viewed by The Olympian.
His next court date is April 26.
“What I know from family members is that he’s got an explosive personality,” Thurston County animal control officer Erika Johnson said. “He’s got some real anger issues.”
A biker discovered the puppy, named Diamond, hanging from the tree on March 22. Scratch marks from where the dog had struggled were evident at the scene. A veterinarian later revealed the dog had been severely sexually abused. The official cause of death was asphyxiation.
“This is probably one of the worst cases I’ve ever seen,” Johnson told The Olympian. “The degree of violence that animal went through before her death, I really couldn’t wrap my mind around it.”
Diamond was an emotional support service dog for an 8-year-old boy. She was staying with Evans, a relative of the owner, while the owner found housing that allowed dogs, Q13Fox reported.
Evans’ past rap sheet includes charges for domestic violence, burglary and controlled substances.

Why more women are letting their husbands cheat

Thrashing out the details of their new marriage contract with online relationship coach Suzie Johnson, the wealthy couple who have been wed for 12 years leave their hourlong Skype session feeling satisfied.
The husband agrees they can have a fifth child — while the wife consents to an infidelity clause allowing him to cheat with other women on a strictly annual basis.
“They agreed to a weekend amnesty, where the guy can do what he wants for just one weekend a year,” recalls Johnson, who runs the Dallas, Texas-based goasksuzie.com. “In return, she gets the bigger family she craved.”
According to Johnson, such arrangements are increasingly common in her practice as a growing number of women agree to “widen their monogamy boundaries” and embrace a marriage of convenience, where it’s just the husband who strays rather than an open marriage where both sides cheat.

NC State University Requires Permit To Speak About Jesus

A permit is required before students can talk about Jesus at North Carolina State University, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court. Grace Christian Life, a registered student group at NC State, filed suit over a policy requiring a permit for any kind of student speech or communication anywhere on campus – including religious speech. In September 2015, the student group was told that without a permit, they must stop approaching other students inside the student union to engage in religious discussions or invite them to attend group events. “It’s an amazingly broad speech restriction,” Alliance Defending Freedom attorney Tyson Langhofer told me. “Public universities are supposed to be the marketplace of ideas, not places where students need a permit just to exercise their constitutionally protected freedoms.” FULL REPORT

‘Fit of rage’: Father charged with suffocating 2-year-old who may have interrupted computer game

Two-year-old Ellie Sanders, it seemed, had fallen asleep on her parents’ bed, soon after what her father said was a diaper change and a few moments in front of the TV.
But when her family members tried to wake her, police said, she wouldn’t budge. Doctors later found bruises around her eyes, better known as “raccoon eyes,” as well as blood behind her ear and adult bite marks on her back.
She wasn’t breathing.
Investigators believe her father, 31-year-old Anthony Michael Sanders, may have pressed his hands over her nose and mouth until she died. They suspect the toddler may have been disrupting him as he played computer games.
“Just a fit of rage-type deal — anger,” Watauga police Sgt. Jason Babcock told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
“He’s very involved in computer gaming,” Babcock added. “That’s something he did constantly. She may have interrupted him somehow. His day may have been interrupted.”
Sanders was charged late last week with capital murder in connection with his daughter’s suffocation death.
Sanders had been caring for Ellie and her 5-year-old brother one Saturday in December in their home in Watauga, Tex., near Fort Worth, while the children’s mother was at an art show, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
When she got home about 8:30 p.m., Sanders and his son were in the living room. Ellie was in the bedroom.
Shortly after, police said, Ellie’s brother went to check on her.
“He tried to wake her up and she wouldn’t wake up,” Babcock told the Star-Telegram. “He went in there and told [his parents] that she was sleeping and wouldn’t wake up.”
Sanders went to the bedroom and started screaming for his wife to call 911, saying the toddler was not breathing, according to court documents. When police arrived, Sanders was attempting to perform CPR on the child.
Ellie was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Doctors told police that the girl had numerous recent injuries, including petechial hemorrhaging in and around her eyes — commonly caused by asphyxiation — as well as bruising around the eyes, according to court documents. The blood behind her ear, doctors told police, could have been caused by trauma.
The bite marks, they said, appeared to be made by an adult.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death a homicide caused by asphyxiation.
Babcock, the Watauga police spokesman, told the Star-Telegram that investigators suspect Sanders killed Ellie by covering her mouth and pinning her down.
“Anthony, by his own admission, was the only adult that was in the residence during the time the injuries were inflicted upon his daughter which caused her death,” according to the arrest warrant affidavit.
Babcock said Sanders was arrested earlier this month at his mother’s home in Fort Worth. He has been transferred to Tarrant County jail, where he is being held on $1 million bail, according to booking records.
The Star-Telegram reported that Sanders was charged in July 2011 with choking Ellie’s mother, but the grand jury decided there was not enough evidence to prosecute him.
It’s unclear whether Sanders has an attorney.
“It’s been a tough one for us to deal with working it and having to wait for the results,” Babcock told the Star-Telegram.

Lutheran Leader Claims Jesus Was A Hermaphrodite

Jesus was intersex, influential pastor says

Amid the national debate over transsexual bathrooms, an influential Lutheran pastor claimed Jesus was “intersex.”
The pastor, Clint Schnekloth, made the claim while quoting a Thomas Jefferson letter advocating a materialist interpretation of the Bible.
“I believe in the virgin birth, though many of my fellow Christians don’t. I do think it means Jesus was intersex,” he stated.
3554664_orig
“Intersex” is a term used by LGBT advocates to describe people born with both male and female sexual anatomy and other traits.
Schnekloth, who’s also a well-known author and speaker in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, is well-respected by other church leaders and thus wields a great deal of power: he controls two of the largest ELCA Facebook pages and writes content for worship resources.
So his “intersex” statement reflects not just the opinion of one church pastor but rather how major churches in general are turning into powerful vehicles to promote a social justice warrior agenda.
Last year, for example, the Church of England wanted Christians to God as a ‘she,’ despite Jesus referring to God as His Father.
Women and the Church (WATCH), an activist clergy group best known for pressuring the Anglican Church to accept female bishops, wants to modify the official church liturgy to include female language and imagery to describe God.
“In the last two or three years we’ve seen a real resurgence and interest in feminism, and younger people are much more interested in how gender categories shouldn’t be about stereotypes,” the Rev. Emma Percy, a member of WATCH, told the Guardian. “We need to have a language about God that shows God can be expressed in lots of diverse terms.”
