“Your word, a light to my path” (Ps.118:105)

“Your word, a light to my path”
By: Fr. Campbell

St. Paul tells us that some things should “not even be named among you, as becomes saints” (Eph.5.3). But in our school systems and in their stories and TV programs, the children are exposed to those scandalous things from their earliest years. At school, with graphic descriptions and pictures, they are taught the how-to’s, and that it’s normal to be “gender neutral”. In order to protect the children, and not to be deceived ourselves, we must be aware of these things and bring them to light, so that they do not become snares for the unwary. “Mischief, thou art afoot,” as Shakespeare says in his play, Julius Caesar. We must not let this “mischief” have its way.

Who is there to defend the innocent? Francis Bergoglio makes outrageous statements about marriage and human relationships. He said that those who want to exclude having children from their marriage are being selfish. Is that all? This could be the understatement of the year. The first purpose of marriage is the begetting and raising of children. Without the intention of fulfilling that purpose, marriage vows are invalid. In such a case there is no marriage.

In the Philippines, Francis made disdainful remarks about a woman who had eight children. Assuming the role of a demographer, he has said that three children should be enough. The science of demography may be able to say how many children per family it takes to maintain a population, but it has nothing to say about Christian Marriage. Would-be “popes” should confine themselves to speaking about the teachings of the Church. God instituted marriage to populate Heaven with saints. It is God’s enemies who are out to destroy Marriage and decrease the population. Through abortion, birth control, and the promotion of illicit human relationships, they have succeeded in bringing about the steep decline of Western Civilization, which is about to reach the terminal stage. We can expect utter chaos.

What do those people do who feel inclined to take up a romantic relationship with someone of the same sex? They must deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Christ. The way of the cross can be a difficult road. But we all have to follow it, and not feel sorry for ourselves because we don’t have everything we want in this world. Everybody has a cross. By laying a cross on our shoulders, God has blessed us and given us the opportunity to become saints. There never was a saint without a cross.

No one ever has the right to do wrong, which means the right to commit sin. God did not hesitate to say, “Thou shalt not!” Marriage is between a man and a woman, and only that. Marriage can never be “gender neutral”. And there can be no legal approximation of marriage like the so called “civil union”. The laws of man can never make God’s laws null and void! The demand for “equal rights” is a deception, because all have the same right to marry someone of the opposite sex. Beyond that there are no rights. God instituted marriage, as we read in the Book of Genesis:

“God created man in his image. In the image of God he created him. Male and female he created them. Then God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it’” (Gn.2:27,28a).

Is God, then, cruel because He does not allow marriage to be “gender neutral”? God is not cruel, but most kind, because He knows that sins against nature merit eternal punishment in the fires of Hell. God loves every one of us, and “wishes all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1Tim.2:4).

"New Evangelization" for a "NewChurch"
which consists in dialogue not in conversion

Francis “who am I to judge” Bergoglio has a flawed sense of what is right and wrong. As the supposed “pope”, he is indifferent to Catholic Truth, because to him, whether you follow the Bible, the Koran, or the Talmud, it’s all the same. He takes part in Jewish worship services, and prays with his Jewish friends at the Vatican. Francis doesn’t want the Church to convert others, but to “dialogue” with them. Now we know what the famous “New Evangelization” is all about. What a monumental lie! It has nothing to do with preaching the Gospel. The “New Evangelization” means preaching the New World Order.

How could we insult our Divine Savior in this way and disobey His command to preach the Gospel to all nations? We should thank God on our knees for sending His Son, Jesus Christ, the Light of the world, who has shown us the way to Heaven. Jesus Christ is our Light! If we have Him we do not walk in the dark. We must bring that Light to the world! St. Matthew quotes the prophet Isaiah:

“The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light; and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death, a light has arisen” (Mt.4:16). And, says Matthew: “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand’” (Mt.4:17).

After Jesus announced that His Flesh was food indeed, and His Blood was drink indeed, many of His disciples abandoned Him. But the Apostles took Him at His word. “Do you also wish to go away?” He said to them (Jn.6:68). Peter replied for all of them:

“Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast words of everlasting life, and we have come to believe and to know that thou are the Christ, the Son of God” (Jn.6:69,70).

But now, Jesus needs our help, so we must be His defenders, every one of us. Don’t let them blaspheme His Holy Name! Don’t let them portray Him and His Most Holy Mother Mary as vile sinners, as is done in the Jewish Talmud! From the day of His Crucifixion to this very day, the Lord’s enemies have not ceased their plotting and planning to cancel the Redemption and destroy the Cross. Their intention is to hijack His Church by infiltrating it and gaining control of the highest offices, and to destroy the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Sacraments. They think they have already succeeded.

But don’t let them do it! Stand by the Cross! We must never go away, but always stay close to the Light, Jesus Christ, and keep His word ever in mind. Adults of all ages, young adults and teenagers, children, even the littlest ones, must stand together against the Wickedness of the Devil. Jesus is counting on you to keep the Faith. Like Peter, we must say,

“Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast words of everlasting life, and we have come to believe and to know that thou are the Christ, the Son of God” (Jn.6:69,70).
