Gregory Hesse, S.T.D., J.C.D., S.T.L., J.C.L., Canon Lawyer, Doctor of Thomistic Theology, lifelong friend and personal secretary of Cardinal Stickler at the Vatican from 1986-1988 has provided us with many talks and conferences where he gives a no-nonsense, intelligent, learned, and witty exposition and explanation of relevant topics facing contemporary faithful Catholics. Fr. Hesse got to know approximately 45 cardinals while studying and working in Rome for 15 years and he has an uncanny and substantial knowledge of many things. You would be hard-pressed to find another theologian quite like him. Canon Hesse was related to the Hapsburg royal bloodline. He was born in Vienna in 1952, ordained by Cardinal Marella in St. Peter's Basilica on November 21, 1981, and earned doctorates in Canon Law and Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome. He worked as a personal secretary of Cardinal Stickler at the Vatican from 1986 to 1988. He passed away on January 25, 2006.

A few weeks ago, Hawaii was seemingly under attack.  There was an emergency ballistic missile attack warning sent out to the public.  Oh no!  Within a matter of minutes there was a dramatic drop off in overall Pornhub viewership in that state (-77 %) but it sadly did not last very long.  Once Hawaii was given the “all clear” about 30 minutes later Pornhub viewership from that country spiked once again to nearly +50 percent (from the normal rate of viewership).  (http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2018/01/18/pornhub-usage-spiked-in-hawaii-after-false-ballistic-missile-alert.html) Fortunately, no lives were lost in this apparent false flag blunder but how many already fell in mortal sin?  Furthermore, what can we learn from this example?  What if there was no warning and Hawaii “got smoked” without anyone getting the opportunity to repent?  What does it say about these souls who jumped right back into viewing porn just minutes after the “all- clear”? Do these souls really fear God?  Do they really love God.  The answer is obviously no and is a perfect example of the “culture of self”  we live in.

Another massive asteroid to skim past Earth in 10 days

A huge asteroid, larger than any skyscraper ever built, is set to shoot past Earth in just 10 days as NASA warned the space rock is “potentially hazardous”. The 1.2km wide asteroid will fly by Earth on Sunday February 4, the same day that the US celebrates the NFL Super Bowl. The space agency has dubbed the massive rock 2002 AJ129 and it measures between 500m and 1.2km across, making the gigantic asteroid larger than the Burj Khalifa. Judging by the orbit of the asteroid, NASA says that it will pass Earth just 2.6 million miles away – a hair’s width in astronomical terms. And it is expected to fly past at speeds of 76,000 mph making it nearly 16 times faster than the world’s quickest manned aircraft, the hypersonic North American X-15. READ MORE

California rocked by two earthquakes within minutes five miles apart, Fears of larger quake imminent

California has been rocked by an earthquake measure 5.8 magnitudes, with a 5.0 shock following just minutes later in a day of seismic activity along the Ring of Fire which has put Californians on alert for the Big One. The most recent quake happened at 5.24pm GMT, or 9.24am local time, in the so-classed “ring of fire”. Initially USGS reported two earthquakes in the space of 15 seconds at 5.24pm, however, this was later amended to reflect just one quake, with a magnitude of 5.0. The previous quake happened just an hour previously, at 4.39pm (8.39am local time), with a higher magnitude of 5.8. It follows the 4.1 magnitude earthquake which rocked California this morning and was felt in both San Diego and Los Angeles. The tremors affected up to 10 million people across the state, according to USGS. This morning’s earthquake hit at 2.09am PST (10.09am GMT) with its epicenter 5km north east of Trabuco Canyon in California. Tremors were felt in San Diego and the Los Angeles area, with people shaken awake by the violent tremors, with one person saying there was huge “jolt”. READ MORE

That therefore it will be obligatory to recite at every Mass with the novelty "and not to abandon us to temptation", instead of "and not lead us into temptation".
