Russia is just finishing 5,000 shelters in Moscow. They’re much more open (in this regard anyway) on this topic than other governments.
I personally estimate the US probably has over 150 Deep Underground Military Bases. A huge military underground city exists underneath the Denver Airport. Russia has some that can accommodate over 100,000 people (at the base of mountains). These are entire underground cities that have been under construction since the 1980s.

The Trump administration’s increased military strikes might cause fear for some people. But for one North Texas man, it means big bucks.
Nora Holloway of Dallas is one of those folks who is concerned about the state of the world.
Citing the recent bombings in Syria, Afghanistan and the growing tension with North Korea, Holloway posted online to see if anyone wanted to “go in” on an underground bunker.
“I’m in no position to buy one,” said Holloway. “However, I think that for a lot of people that is a serious concern and a lot of people have done so and will be doing so.”

Inside his football field-size warehouse an hour’s drive southeast of Dallas, Gary Lynch is busy trying to keep up with orders for his solid-steel bomb shelters.
He offers visitors a tour of a 600-square-foot model under construction for a Saudi customer.
Right now, it’s just a steel shell, he said, but when the work is done it will be a luxurious underground bunker with a master bedroom, four bunk beds, a composting toilet, a living room with satellite television capability, filtered air and water, and a storage closet with room for months of food.
Lynch explains that orders for his most expensive shelters, which can cost as much as several million dollars, have increased since the November election.

The new story from the Business Insider that the Drudge Report linked to today reports upon a new community being built deep in the heart of South Dakota called "Vivos xPoint". Billed to be the largest private bunker community on Earth, a 99-year lease on each bunker can be purchased for $1,000 a year with a $25,000 deposit up front. And while making such a purchase will grant you access to one of 575 bunkers made of hardened concrete and steel, built to withstand a 500,000 blast from explosives from within by the US Army back in 1942, any and all upgrades done to the structures will have to be paid by the purchasers.

I have heard from two people I personally know who have retreated deep underground. The first, a former FEMA official, did so nearly three years ago. The second did so in January of this year. They both told me that the number of elite who are opting to move underground are increasing exponentially. Previously, I had reported on the first person and his family as they “bugged out” with other FEMA/DHS retired personnel to form one underground survivalist community in anticipation of what, in his estimation, was coming.
