WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

The Truth About Lies...

The Truth About Lies...
Nihil Obstat: RECCAREDUS FLEMING, Censor Theol. Deput.
Imprimatur: IOANNES CAROLUS, Archiep. Dublinen,
Hiberniae Primas.
Dublini, die 6 Nov., anno 1942.

 All Hallows College, Dublin
A little personal reminiscence that has the happy merit of being true may serve as an introduction to this booklet on Lying.
In January, 1937, I happened to be traveling by train from Dublin to Cork. My immediate neighbour in the compartment was a middle-aged gentleman of obvious education and culture, with whom a friendly cigarette soon brought me into conversation. What first served to fix the incident in my memory was the nature of the topics we discussed.

Novus ordo: New German Bishop: Truth is changeable, "Spirit of the Council" is consistent

Novus Ordo: New German Bishop: Truth is changeable, "Spirit of the Council" is consistent
SOURCE
Lefebvre quotes and Fr. Hesse video included...
On April 18, "Pope" Francis appointed Peter Kohlgraf as bishop of Mainz. He follows the liberal Cardinal Karl Lehmann.

In 2011 Kohlgraf summarized his views of the Second Vatican Council in the German journal Pastoraltheologische Informationen“. Kohlgraf interprets the council as rupture (but in a positive sense). The innovations concern the collegiality of bishops, the interpretation of other religions, God’s plan to save all men, Freedom of religion and the understanding of revelation.

The new bishop praises the so-called "spirit of the Council". This spirit is – according to Kohlgraf - consistent with the texts of the Council. He finds the spirit already in the writings of those theologians that prepared the way for the Council.

Fr. Campbell, "For the Love of Truth"

For the Love of Truth (2Thess.10)

Fr. Campbell

Those who love the truth love the One who IS Truth, Jesus Christ. Those who love Jesus Christ love the Church He founded, the Holy Catholic Church. The Church, the Bride of Christ, loves the Bridegroom, and is in obedience to Him in all things. The Church changes nothing of what she has received from the Lord. At the same time, the Church reads the “signs of the times” spoken of by Our Lord that will be wars and rumors of wars, and a great persecution of His followers. And these are the signs that will precede His coming:

“There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations bewildered by the roaring of sea and waves; men fainting for fear and for expectation of the things that coming on the world; for the powers of heaven will be shaken” (Lk.21:25,26).

Fr. Gregory Hesse, S.T.D., J.C.D., S.T.L., J.C.L., Canon Lawyer, Doctor of Thomistic Theology, Lifelong Friend and Personal Secretary of Cardinal Stickler at the Vatican from 1986-1988 gives a no-nonsense, intelligent, learned, and witty exposition and explanation of relevant topics facing contemporary faithful Catholics. Fr. Hesse got to know approx. 45 cardinals while studying and working in Rome for 15 years and he has an uncanny and substantial knowledge of many things. You would be hard-pressed to find another theologian quite like him. A breath of fresh air in today’s widespread climate of many weak, ignorant, and naive clerics and theologians, he was affectionately called by several of his friends during his life “the bull in the china shop.” His example, testimony, and insights no doubt played and will play an important role in Catholic thought and development. Listen to find out why.

Gone Astray? Return and Seek Him Tenfold!

Gone Astray?  Return and Seek Him Tenfold!
By: Eric Gajewski
Baruch 4:28 For as it was your mind to go astray from God; so when you return again you shall seek him ten times as much.

It is never too late to convert!  I was recently emailed with the question, “Is it too late for me to convert?”  Brethren, it is never too late to turn your heart wholly unto God.  Take a look at the examples of some Saints who did not start the race of life so great.  These specific Saints such as Francis or Augustine, allow us to see, just how great Gods mercy.  It shows us very concretely that if we turn our hearts wholly unto God we can change and become new creatures in Christ.  Therefore, there are many potential Prodigal sons who keep from returning Home due to fear.  This fear is a result of self love but we have hope from the Scriptures themselves!  Yea, we can say the further we move from our Home the more “thirstier” we get and thus those who once have abandoned Christ and His Catholic Church have a great hope for what could be.

Fr. Voigt, The Father Sends the Son; the Son sends the Spirit of Truth

Fr. Voigt, The Father Sends the Son; the Son sends the Spirit of Truth
Sunday Reflection

"Non progredi, regredi est" which means not to go forward is to go backward.  The Father has established the plan that rules the world and in that plan of love He called upon His Eternal Son to enter our flesh to give testimony to the Truth.  The Son is the Way, the Truth and the Good Shepherd Who will guide His sheep to the kingdom.  Now He is with us to reveal the battle which encompasses us today.  It is a global conflict and no one is exempted from the fray.  You and I are meant to be here now and to fight for the freedom of the sons of God.

Modernism and Dogma (Pragmatism)

Modernism and Dogma (Pragmatism)

Father Bampton, S.J.

II. Pragmatism

IN our last lecture we saw how Modernism deals with dogma, and we took as an illustration the dogma of Christ's resurrection. The Modernist's method is to accept the dogma, and to accept the very terms in which it is stated, and then to interpret them in his own way. Thus, in the example cited, a Modernist, like a Catholic, would profess his belief in Christ's resurrection. he would say it is quite true. But if you ask him in what sense true, he would answer: "Not true to fact, not true historically, but true in another sense, and that other sense two-fold.

Fr. Voigt, "Bear Fruit a Hundredfold"

Fr. Voigt, "Bear Fruit a Hundredfold"
Right now go to the window of your house or take a car trip around your city or visit a major mall and what do you notice about the general population?  They are obese.  They have indulged themselves to such an extent that they have become fat and ugly.  Does it have to be this way?  No.  Our Lord
presents an answer to the disease afflicting both the body and the spirit--over indulgence.  In one simple word it is the cardinal virtue of Temperance.  Let us consider the words of our Lord dealing with the Sower Who went out to sow His Seed.
